Friguia Park is more than a zoo – it's an animal kingdom where you can see and meet everything from antelopes to zebras. As you walk along elevated wooden platforms, you can observe more than 60 species of animals. It was very tired and run down, toilets were dirty with no toilet paper, saw about 5 animals as most pens were empty, it was very hilly and uneven walking round very disappointing, didn't realise it would take 2hrs to get there either

Der Ausflug war eigentlich in deutsch. Es waren auch englische Reisende dabei, aber die Reiseleiterin Aida hat dies sehr gut Umgesetztund alles in beiden Sprachen erklärt. Im Park könnte mehr Zeit gegeben werden. Wir haben fast alles gesehen, bis auf die Reptillien. Da war leider nichts auf und die Zeit von 2 Stunden hätte nicht gereicht. Auch hatte man keine Zeit um sich hinzusetzen um etwas zu essen oder zu trinken.

Transfer takes 1-2h (pick up people from all over Sousse). The stay at the zoo itself lasts 2h. There's a sea lion show, zolou dances. There are elephants,tigers,flamingos,crocodiles,lions, but no giraffes. Camel ride costs 5 dinars pp. Man working with the elephants takes a close-up video of the elephant.Took 5 dinars from us.There is a souvenir shop on site and a stand where the man hand-writes the name in Eng and Arabic on the plates they make.Price from 15 dinars.I highly recommend the trip!

Although the weather wasn’t great on the day we went we were still able to experience the sea lion snow and the Zulu dancers. The tour guide, Salah, was brilliant and very informative.

Goed verzorgde transfer met een bus die langs diverse hotels rijdt. Je hebt 2 uur in de dierentuin, maar dat is ruim voldoende omdat het maar een kleine is. Leuke zeeleeuwenshow en een goed verzorgd park.

The 'guided tour' was not at the park and mostly consisted of the guide pointing out olive trees and hotels. No real tour to it. The time at the park was not enough with barely 2 hours to walk round it we missed a lot. The park itself was lovely, though perhaps lacking in enrichment and space for the animals.

Park itself was worth a visit nice to get up close to the animals if it wasn't end of season could have done with probably half hour or maybe an hour longer at the park . Transfer was over half hour late and required pick ups for other tui guests from other hotels so ended up at least 40 mins to an hour on coach longer than going direct . Guide was fairly informative and was nice to travel through and see a bit whilst sat in the coach .

We felt misguided by the length of the transfer to the Zoo. Had we known ahead of time that it was a 2 hour transfer then we probably wouldn’t have gone. Our Rep told us we were guaranteed to be back at the hotel by 12pm but it ended up being 13:30. I would always encourage accurately managing guest expectations. We enjoyed seeing the wide array of animals. The enclosures were well built & the animals seemed well cared for. 2 hours walking around in the heat was just the right amount of time.

We really enjoyed, collected on time and the guide was great, really friendly and knowledgeable. The coach driver was fab, take some coins to tip him. The park was brilliant, lots to see and you can ride a camel for 5 dinar. There’s plenty of toilets and cafes/drinks, sea lion show on at 10am. Loved the trip, reason I’ve put 9/10 was because we only had 2 hours of park time, arrived 9.30 then by the time the sea lion show was done it was 10.30 so just 1hr left so a bit rushed to see everything.
