What to expect
Set a course for the high life on this luxury catamaran cruise to Cancun's playground, Isla Mujeres. It's VIP all the way on this daytrip. You'll begin with a dedicated Musement check-in to board a brand-new catamaran that'll whisk you away to the island, just off Cancun's coastline. Stretch out and relax in the comfort of this boat, complete with an open bar. En route to Isla Mujeres, your crew will drop anchor at an exclusive snorkelling spot. The corals here are part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, the second largest of its kind in the world, stretching from Mexico to Honduras – that's over 700 miles. Dive in for a swim or snorkel (equipment is provided) to look for resident sea turtles, rays and tropical fish.Once you've towelled off, you'll dock at the northwestern tip of Isla Mujeres and head to Zama Beach Club. There's an area reserved for your group here, making it feel like your own private Caribbean retreat. Swap the sea for a freshwater dip in the two pools, relax on the sunbeds and feast on fresh Mexican fare at an exclusive brunch. After you've finished splashing, eating or lounging at the club, the crew of the catamaran will sail you back to the mainland.There are two ways to enjoy this trip:Adults-only – available on Tuesdays, if you're after a more laidback, grown-up vibe.

What to remember
Upon arrival at the beach club, you will have 1.5 hours to enjoy lunch and an open bar. The rest of the time is free to explore the island
Loungers aren't included at the beach club but may be rented, subject to availability. You're also welcome to remain in the lunch area
Towels are provided for swim activities only and may not be taken onto the island
Adults-only trips run on a Tuesday. Family-friendly trips run on a Saturday
The minimum age allowed for snorkelling in Isla Mujeres is 10 years old, and the maximum recommended age is 60 years old
Participation in snorkelling is not recommended for guests with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or heart problems
Pregnant women may participate in the snorkelling activity at their own risk. However, it is recommended only up to five months of pregnancy
Aquatic activities under the influence of alcohol are strictly prohibited

The minibus that collected us was very poor , not very much room and some seats belts not working The food at lunch was cold and not great, the drinks included were very very poor , limited choice and very poor quality the rum punch was like very diluted orange juice. There were far too many people on the catamaran not enough seats to go around. We were delayed setting sail by 30 mins due some people arriving late at the boarding point. Overall very dissatisfied.

Coach terrible broken seats air con not working properly people blocking vents with socks as so cold. On arrival no Tui rep to be found. No instructions as to where to go. Check in shambolic, had no idea what was happening. Finally boarded then had to wait 45 minutes for another 8 non Tui people to turn up. No announcements given for reason for delay. Lunch not well organised and food generally cold and uninspiring. No space left for more issues.Won’t be using Tui excursions again. Disappointed.

The transfer time is too long as delayed by too many pickups. No water or snacks offered. No pitstops. The mini bus too small and mute drivers. The catamaran was lovely but lacked safety precautions. Incorrect and unsafe use of life jackets. The staff were good. The brunch quality and choice was under par and hardly could be described as a ‘beach club’. It was disappointing, ill conceived and we would seriously reconsider ever taking another TUI experience.

Great trip. Staff were excellent and attentive, constantly asking around if you required anything, drinks topping up etc. Music playing onboard added a good vibe. Boat was modern, not crammed at all, had ample space to move around get seats. Snorkelling felt like a whistle stop. Barely 20 mins if that, which would probably be my only negative of the experience. Nice that they added a swim stop on the sandbar on the way back to Cancun. Isla Mujeres is a tourist trap. Beach club was decent.

Having booked a boat trip on a previous TUI holiday that I highly recommended I most certainly won’t be recommending this trip. Whilst the actual boat ride was fantastic, once at the Isla mujeres we were left to woalk to the restaurant alone and ended up at the wrong restaurant. Today I have had D&V, I am treating this but not great. The guide arranged a taxi to the temple and the price was pre agreed at £1200 pesos, to pay on card on return to port. We were charged £2100 and the driver wanted £

We were sold this expert by a TUI rep as relaxing catamaran trip with snorkelling. The theme from getting on board was to drink as much alcohol as you wanted which ended up people being intoxicated loud and at the end of the trip having to be separated due to getting into an altercation. Snorkelling was cancelled and the VIP beach brunch was diabolical I certainly think it’s was not worth the money and was spoilt by drunk loud fighting clientele.

Absolutely fantastic day. Staff, drinks & food amazing. Only thing let it down was the transfer bus driver on way back refused to stop on the 2hr transfer for everyone to have a loo break his attitude was terrible & he said he wouldn’t stop because people had not said hello to him!! People have need’s maybe medical so a loo break should be offered.

The transfer time is long to catamaran over 2 hours, Grace and the team were fab, the downside was no snorkeling due to winds the quality of the brunch was average but was a lovely catamaran. Even though we sailed, the price point for not having the activities was high considering and a discount should be offered. We know you cannot guarantee the weather but after such a long transfer it was disappointing.

Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Ausflug.. Lediglich die Preispolitik auf der Isla Mujeres hat uns gestört: Obwohl wir noch anderthalb Stunden Zeit bis zur Abfahrt des Katamarans hatten, war das All-inclusive-Angebot vor Ort bereits abgelaufen. Dass wir dann für Getränke und Liegen zahlen mussten, fanden wir schade, zumal an Bord des Schiffes später wieder alles inbegriffen war.

This experience was not what we were told. We waited on the boat almost two hours to leave. By the time we got to the site we could barely see anything because of how busy it was. We were only supposed to be on the island for an hour and a half and then we found out we were there for three hours. We were supposed to be home by 6. We didn’t get back until 6. I won’t be using you guys ever again.

The bus driver on the morning transfer was an absolute **********. The organisation was ********** poor. The time in yhe boat was fab, the food was **********. We were unable to rent a buggy on the island as we didn’t dint have any ID, we were not advised to take ID with us by the Tui rep or anyone else!!! We were charged an additional $50 dollars at the harbour a Tui representative for what they advised taxes and transfers- we asked others in the trip and they advised they did not pay that add

Das ganze war nach unserer Ansicht keine Katamaran Tour, sondern eine Butterfahrt nach Muslim, Moé zum Shopping… Das war nicht Ziel der Reise, die wir ausgesucht hatten und auch nicht im Angebot beschrieben. Was soll man auf Islam Moes 3 Stunden in diesem kleinen Fischerdorf verbringen? Es ist leider ein Armutszeugnis, dass Tui überhaupt so eine Reise anbietet. Wenn man eine Katamaran Tour schon anbietet, sollte dabei auch im Vordergrund die Katamaran stehen.

The visit to Isla Mujeres was great, well worth it The catamaran was fab, staff great, snorkelling equipment provided and swimming spots were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable day out. The only things I would change would be the food at lunch, which could have included more meat and fish and the check in bit at the beginning was a little hectic, but it was vey busy s understandable.

The boat itself and staff on there were brilliant, really enjoyed this part of the trip and they made it very fun. Unfortunately the trip overall was 13 hours! We were advised 4-8 hours, we were picked up at 7:22am, and arrived back at the hotel at 8pm. We wouldn’t have booked this if we knew the coach journey was 2 hours each way alone and it would be such a long day in general. We also found the time on the island so long, there isn’t much to do there and the brunch wasn’t great.

Advised to be at pick up at 8:40 for 8:50 departure. We were waiting for 50 mins. Check in process was unnecessarily chaotic. Catamaran was nice and clean and crew were all wonderful but too many people scrambling for seats. Liberal with on board drinks. On shore brunch was terrible. Cold and horrible food. Overall, it was just ok but a little pricey. Definitely should not be classed as luxury

Verwundert waren wir über Alkoholausschank vor dem Schnorcheln, da war alles im Angebot. Die Isla Mujeres war mit dem Stop am Strand, ohne die Möglichkeit zu schwimmen sehr entbehrlich. Er waren nur Shops und Bars gegen Bezahlung natürlich, zu besuchen. Dafür sind 1,5 Stunden zu viel. Dieser Teil war mehr eine Kaffeefahrt. An jeder Ecke will jemand etwas verkaufen. Und die Preise in Mexiko sind für mein Empfinden total überzogen. Das Einchecken am Hafen anfangs war Chaos pur.

The staff on the boat were amazing, helpful and fun. It made the day. However we did not snorkel as the police moved the boat on, we got to the island and did not snorkel there either, it was only 1 stop, for snorkelling and only if you was a strong swimmer. Took many tours with TUI, this was the worse value for money.

The transport was comfortable but the delays in collecting other travellers delayed and extended our transfer time. On arrival at the harbour the signage and directions were limited, leaving travellers guessing where to go to or even queue. Once we were identified as TUI travellers the experience improved. An aggressive drunk male on our tour tarnished the trip which resulted in local police attendance. Still awaiting an update from TUI staff, after three days of informing them of the issue.

When we arrived at the port it was confusing as to what was happening. We queued to sign a paper, for what I don't know. I then spotted the Tui desk so we headed for that. The crew on the cattermeran were great, they really looked after us. Unfortunately when we got back...again we didn't know what was happening. We waited an hour and a half for our coach to pick us up. We were all stood on the side of the road in a horrendous downpour of rain. It spoilt the day.

Miss sold by TUI rep, definitely not luxury total tourist trap was not told the only snorkeling was a forced 500 metre swim, surrounded by hundreds of other tourists and boats, tour guide was boarder line rude which set the tone for the day, were not allowed a towel unless you got in the water, prices on island were extortion paid for one small item with Apple Pay only to find £200 has been taken out of my account had to cancel all my bank cards just incase this is by far the worst trip ever

The trip itself was well organised ,crew and guide really good and the trip was as described. The whole trip was ruined on the way back when a drunk passenger tried to attack another and had to be restrained by fellow passengers. The police where waiting for the troublemaker when we docked but he should have never been allowed to consume so much alcohol as his girlfriend couldn't even stand up .It was very upsetting to witness and other passengers where crying and upset.

I was totally miss sold this trip and I will be making a official complaint I requested a trip to MUSA I made it absolutely clear this is where I wanted to visit the rep told me that this trip included a visit, it did not, I am now over £250 out of pocket for a trip I didn’t want I have also lost a day out of my holiday and I will have to pay again for the correct trip I want a refund

We must of spent no more than 30 mins in the sea snorkelling. There was 4 other boats there so trying to keep an eye on your group in the water was hard work. Every one wearing orange life jackets. It was so rushed. Then we went for brunch. That was ok the beach was lovely. Spent about an hour there. Then back on the catermaran 5 mins round the corner. Then two hours in a place lots of little shops that just wanted your money! Was not a very nice experience. We are not shoppers. Terrible

Très propre partout, cependant l attente au port, dans les batiments, est bcq trop longue ( plus d une heure et demi), le site de snorkeling n en n est pas un pour moi ( ZERO). Le repas buffet, ZERO, pauvre pas varié, aucune saveur ( mais enfants n ont rien mangé), l île en elle-même nous a été présentée comme riche en couleur locale, je cherche encore... la plage malheureusement saturée de monde..... il y a eu un conflit sur le bateaux au retour, mal géré, cela ne vaut pas 625 € !!!!

OK pour aider à quitter le bateau. PAS OK : musiques (hard rock!!) Où sont les locales!? Non défendue par le personnel face à une quinzaine d'américains irrespectueux .. 1 dame m'a même arraché mon sac! Bières resservies partout sur le bateau mais pas les autres boissons L'accompagnatrice m'incite à l'accompagner dans les boutiques pour avoir des réductions et elle me largue sur la plage avant d'y arriver! Départ hôtel 7h50 , départ catamaran 10h35 !!!!! Équipe bateau Soprano !!!!grrrr

Sadly we forgot our money to make any tips and as the boat was coming back to the dock they where going round with a tip bucket, when we said sorry we didn't have any on us a guy on a microphone said boo and pointed at us in front of the hole boat. Very very unprofessional, and then other people who I guess didn't want to tip then felt pressured in to tipping.

The organisation in the morning was terrible at the boat area it was utter chaos. The boat and staff were brilliant (however very full on with getting tips at the end which I didnt like) the island is beautiful but the food supplied was absolutely disgusting I would not of fed it dog and the drinks were 100% watered down and staff were very rude. We paid a large amount of money for the trip and dont feel it was worth it

The staff on board the boat tried their best to create a party atmosphere and make it a fun time. The weather was stormy in the morning and the staff did their best to cheer people up on the way back it was quite enjoyable with a good swim spot. The guide recommended a golf cart where he then tried to scam us out of 20 extra dollars the golf cart was falling apart. The island felt very unsafe. The brunch brunch was horrific and gave me food poisoning which wrote me off for 2 days.

Staff on board the boat were fantastic. They kept us all entertained & topped up with drinks. The worst part was having no TUI rep to explain anything to us. Dropped off in an alley to access the marina - it looked dodgy. We followed the path & entered the ticket office area. Once again, there was no one there to explain what to do or where to go. Lots of confused people with no one to explain in English what the procedure was. Sold as exclusively TUI trip, one expected a TUI rep to be there

The staff were amazing especially Grace who was a great tour guide. She also had really good English when speaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our day out and the catamaran was comfortable and nice.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly ! Although price was premium the overall trip was exceptional ! The boat was obviously top of the range with plenty of seats for all who booked with no overcrowding with free flowing drinks ! Note as per previous reviews prosecco should be called Champagne !

Abholung am Hotel ein riesen Reisebus der zwei Stunden zum Ziel . Angekommen man wird an der Straße raus geworfen und pang. Dann in einem völlig überfülltem Servicecenter gelandet und man weiß nicht wie und wohin. Auf der Insel im beachclub in eine Ecke gesetzt essen und trinken 90 min ab dann heißt es bezahlen pro Person 10 Euro die Stunde um den Strand nutzen zu dürfen Golfcard die Stunde ca 85 Euro die Stunden.Also sind wir zwei Stunden auf und ab gelaufen bis das Boot wieder abfährt.

The catamaran and staff were excellent all round. Food quality on the island was ok but not great being honest and the drinks on the island were warm. We ended up going to the beach bar for a decent quality drink. The trip overall is excellent though and I would advise anyone to go on it.

Not only was this ridiculously overpriced compared to similar catamaran trips (like on Get Your Guide), we also got scammed by the hostess Grace. She ensured us that she had the best connection for renting a golf cart on Isla Mujeres for 70 euros. We were guided there by her and were completely scammed. When we got back to our hotel we saw they charged us 90 euros and they did so TWICE (claiming the machine wasn't working and to try again). Later we found out another couple had the same!!

The catamaran was top quality and the staff were great. I loved visiting the island. I wish we had more time there. The only cons were the buffet selection was poor. Also we were told by our rep that the cost of a buggy would be 50 dollars but on the trip we were then quoted 80 dollars. We then overheard the buggy people quote other people not on our trip 45 dollars so they were clearly conning us out of money which was disappointing considering how much the trip costs.

Great opportunities to swim in pristine waters. Superb atmosphere on the boat with the music playing at an appropriate volume. One song was very sexually explicit - not sure the staff knew!

In the morning our pick up arrived late making us think we missed the excursion. When arriving to Cancun it was chaos at the port and we had no guide as to where we needed to go. The catamaran was of high quality we loved the whole experience there. The brunch was also tasty and drinks were good. Drop off back to the hotel felt very rushed and the driver wasn’t very safe with his driving. Also some guests got dropped off at their lobby whilst others didn’t.

Loved the catamaran, our guide (Grace) was wonderful and very funny! The drinks were great, the snorkling was beautiful and the lunch was lovely! We even got made a fuss if because we are newly engaged, couldn’t have been more looked after!

We enjoyed all aspects of the trip. The only thing we found that could be improved is when we got picked up both ends the guidance could of been better by making coaches easier to locate and where to go, we basically had to follow other people and hoped we were going in the right direction. Also the capacity could be smaller as it made the snorkeling activity hard and I was kicked in the face numerous times as you are bunched up

Travel to and from the port was shocking. Drivers speeding then harsh breaking. Grace and the crew of the solano were out of this world. 14 people on the cruise and treat like VIP’s. Swimming and snorkelling was well organised and completely safe. The only down side was the tequila stop down town and the hard sell tactics from the shop owners high pressure sales pitch to buy. Even pushing to deliver to the hotel and then getting payment.

Tout était parfait. Très ********** organisation et le guide était très professionnel. Le catamaran était incroyable. Le seul bémol était le brunch (pas très élaboré ni très goûteux). A l’heure où nous arrivons sur l’île, un petit repas aurait été plus adapté. Équipe sur le catamaran (Soprano) était vraiment incroyable

Mit den Mitarbeitern auf dem Katamaran waren wir sehr zufrieden, aber nicht mit unserem Guide. Sie war hektisch und unorganisiert. Sie sprach so schnell englisch, dass sogar die Briten nachfragen mussten. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass sie uns auf der Insel unbedingt ein Freizeiterlebniss verkaufen wollte.

Een ontzettend fijne boottrip. Zonder kinderen geeft dit toch net wat meer rust op de boot. De medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk en zorgen voor een ontzettend gastvrije service. Het nadelige was wel dat meerdere groepen tegelijk het water in gingen waardoor tijdens het zwemmen bij elkaar blijven wat lastiger ging. Ook moet je een goed uithoudingsvermogen hebben om dit te doen daar de zee erg sterk is.
