Super ochtend gehad! Gids wist heel veel over het eiland Sal en de geschiedenis van Kaapverdië in het algemeen. Heel veel gezien en geleerd en alles in een relaxed tempo. Zoutmeer was een mooie ervaring. Ik had na de uitleg van Tui verwacht dat het te doen was met een geblesseerd been maar dat viel wel echt tegen. Gids en chauffeur waren hierbij wel heel behulpzaam. Maar overall een hele mooie excursie, zeker een aanrader!

8 adults in a small 4x4 wuth limited air conditioning - we felt like cattle going to market. Only part of the trip we liked was the salt lake. Everything else was pointless and a waste of time. This trip should not go ahead in the afternoon if you can't see the blue eye.

The only thing I think could be improved would be have little extra time at the salt lakes as you didn't have much time to get changed have a dip in the lake get changed again and back to the 4x4 in 20 30 minutes.

Uncomfortable vehicle with difficult access/egress. Too much standing around in hot sunshine with no shade. Give people warning to wear hats. Also advice on taking plenty of drinking water or supply some. Guide was very knowledgeable but spoke very fast so it was difficult to understand him with his accent. Our driver was excellent considering how poor some of the terrain is. Again, we were not warned about this which led to back ache.

The tour was really good. Our guide, Hiberr was a great guide and made us all feel safe and comfortable on the tour. Lots of local knowledge and very funny. Would have been nice to stay in some of the places for longer but it was a half day tour and we covered a lot. The jeeps are great fun too.

Great experience overall and good to see several areas/sites in a half day but some of it was rushed. Would have liked a bit more info/description prior to the event. Guide was very knowledgable and about the right input. 4x4 driver did well! The rum shop/gifts seemed expensive and felt like a captive audience…obviously no pressure to buy!! Nice that it was a closed in 4x4 vehicle, and a small group. To improve: Provisionally of a bottle of water would be good. Longer at the salt lake?

We could have had a bit more time, 15 min more, to walk around Palmeira (the fishing town) as it felt really rushed and you couldn’t even stop properly to take a picture. Other than that tour was very interesting and well thought out, our guide Edmundson I think, was very entertaining and made sure we knew all necessary information about every place we visited.

Really uncomfortable experience with too many people in rach 4 x 4. The blue eye experience is not safe for either tourists or the gentleman that stands infront of the tourists in the cave. If someone slipped he has nothing to stop him falling in as he was just balanced on the edge of a rock. Really uncomfortable to see

Unser Guide Bruna war super nett, witzig und konnte mit viel Wissen über Sal und die Umgebung glänzen. Der Fahrer des Wagens war zuvorkommend und fuhr sehr sicher (und nicht zu langsam ;) ) auch über holprige Wege. Wir können die Tour am frühen Vormittag sehr empfehlen!

We enjoyed the trip, the history and felt it was worth the money paid, highlights for us was floating in the salt lakes as well as the engaging guides. the 4x4 we were in was very uncomfortable especially over the wheel arches, maybe it was older than the others, also one of the step up to enter the vehicle is not wide enough for a foot, every single person struggled. accidents can happen and vehicle 17 needs a wider first step to enable a stronger foothold.

The 4 hour trip was just the perfect amount of time to see the main sights of SAL. We weren’t rushing yet it didn’t drag on unnecessarily so back for lunch. The sights were quite varied so we felt “enriched” with the island and its culture. Re: Health & Safety, the “Blue Eye” could prove lethal if someone slipped down (no barriers) The rum tasting was brilliant but just a good job that no one was allergic to peanuts or anything else as there was no warning when the drinks were handed out.

The guide and driver were fantastic and knowledgeable, it was good to get some history on the island. We felt the areas we were shown were varied and relevant to the island. It would have been nice to have spent a little more time at the salt lakes but that being said it didnt detract from the overall experience. Definitely recommend this trip.

Lead guide Heber was great, he was informative, friendly and humorous, he made the trip fun. Team were generally polite and helpful. We purchased the afternoon trip but with hindsight would have gone on the morning trip if it had been made clearer that there was more chance of seeing the Blue Eye in the morning.

The whole day was a brilliant experience, the guide and the drivers were knowledgeable and fun and prefect timings, not too long or short! The only thing I’d say could be a little bit better was going around the fishing village as some of us don’t like fish so the smell wasn’t great. Cost was very good (probably a little cheap for the experience we had) and the guide gave everyone a little gift at the end of the trip, which was a lovely touch ??

Cette excursion est très bien pour découvrir le nord de l’île de Sal avec de bonnes explications. Néanmoins quelques explications lors des trajets seraient appréciables. Un arrêt dans la capitale également ! On pourrait également ajouter des visites un peu plus au sud de l’île ! Et un peu plus de confort dans les « jeep » serait le bienvenue. Merci à Clovis pour cette journée !

Eddie and our Tui driver were very passionate about Sal, we were told lots of information about the country and how the locals live. The mirage was amazing but the highlight was floating in the salt lake it’s a real experience and your skin feels fantastic afterwards. It was nice to taste the local rum. The blue eye was the icing on the cake just beautiful the colour was vivid. All the staff on all sites very friendly. It felt like in the jeep we had been on a safari very enjoyable. It’s a must.

Wycieczka spelnila nasze oczekiwania. Poznalismy atrakcje wyspy, zjawiska optyczne niesamowite. Jak dla mnie super wyprawa, godna polecenia. Oczywiscie duza zasluge maja osoby, które z nami tam byly - przewodnik p. Kasia i pan kierowca, którzy dbali o nasze bezpieczenstwo. Goraco polecam.

Kind, friendly, very knowledgeable. Delivered info in a very informative friendly style. Seemed to take better care of our group compared to other guides we saw from other groups, even other Tui groups. Eg. At the blue eye cave our guide escorted everyone to have a look in turn. Offering support to those less physically able. The German speaking Tui guide was over the the ocean as her group lined up to look.
