Having done segway before we knew what to expect. We were collected very promptly, our guide was very friendly, and made sure we were safe before taking us on our our trip. We actually had a private tour as just myself and my husband both in our 60s, and the guide. We were offered a drop off back to our hotel, but as we were not far away decided to walk back. 45 minutes on the segway was plenty enough, for two 60+ trundling along roads and dirt tracks, having a great time.

We were collected from hotel on time by friendly, efficient staff. We have done Segway trips before, love them and recommend them for Cape Verde as there is very little traffic so they are a great way to get around the resort. Great fun.

We had done some Segway before which I think helped us get on with the trip as the guide knew we were competent. Great fun off-road. Obviously limited on what you could see and visit but a brilliant experience nonetheless.

Overall it was a good experience, For a new user sticking to a flat route would have been much easier to navigate, rather than going over rocks, also it should have been a scene it route. Our guide was friendly and helpfull, I would recomment havimg a go...

Eine sehr coole Erfahrung und easy nach der Einweisung auf englisch. Die Fahrsicherheit ergibt unterwegs lbei earning bei duing. Die Zeit ist allerdings sehr schnell um. Wäre gerne noch weiter gefahren, aber irgendwann ist der Akku mal leer.

We had a great time, our guide was very safety conscious and patient he explained all about speed, where were were going etc . We had do Segway before in the uk but a few years ago. This was a great way of seeing the local area as he took us off road to to beach and then back past Vile Verde. A great experience and well worth the money we would definitely recommend for any age we are 66and 71 and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We are a retired couple and were very nervous about trying a new experience. But, our guide was fabulous . Brilliant training so we felt safe to use the Segway and he looked after us throughout the tour . Such a thoughtful young man . Amazing travelling along the beach! !

Equipment broke down and my son fell off the Segway sustaining skin grazing. I could not continue the tour because they only had 4 Segway electric scooters and one broke down leaving 3. They promised to refund my payment as I was unable to complete the tour due to their equipment breaking down. I am disappointed in TUI for not effecting the promised refund.

The guide was brilliant and very patient as initially I was terrible. I liked that it was a small group experience and that we were picked up and returned to our hotel. The only issue experienced was that it was not possible to book two segways together through the App due to a systems glitch but the Tui rep sorted the second booking for us.

Family of 3, 1 adult, 2 kids 11 and 13.The bus was on time to take us to the office where Vanessa was very patient, showing us how to use the Segways. After giving out helmets and hi viz jackets, we were off, a little slowly at first but we soon got the hang of it. Great fun zooming over the salt flats towards the beautiful beach where we stopped for about 15 mins before taking a different route back. Excellent morning, would thoroughly recommend for something a bit different

Guide Mattias was excellent and really put us at ease with being it being our first time on a segway. Very knowledgeable about the area and really enjoyed the tour. Lots of safety instructions at the beginning which again put us at ease. Enjoyed the guided tour.

The guide (Vanessa) was very professional and patient when giving instructions for use of the segway with a real focus on safety. This continued throughout the tour. It was so lovely to segway along Ponta Preta Beach and off road through desert areas.

This was such a lot of fun! We had never been on a Segway before so it was a new experience for us. The guide was lovely and ensured we were confident before we set off. The tour was partly off road and we visited the beautiful Ponta Preta beach. We had a hotel pick up and drop off, which was useful as the centre is on the edge of town. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and it was one of the highlights of our holiday.

Wir waren zu diesem Ausflug nur zu zweit, das war sehr angenehm. Der Guide war einfach nur prima. Er hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt und gab uns eine tolle Einführung zur Handhabung und zum Fahren mit dem Segway - übrigens sehr gute Fahrzeuge. Während der Tour hat er immer wieder zurückgeblickt und auf uns geachtet. Sehr beruhigend und gut war auch, dass eine Mitarbeiterin als letzte hinter uns gefahren ist. Wir haben viel von der Insel gesehen, es war ein schöner Ausflug, sehr zu empfehlen.

The safety briefing was thorough, with hi vis vest and helmet supplied. The guide, Mattias, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. The route took in breaches, a sparcely lived in village plus a quick run around Saint Maria. Over all it was a great experience and one that we would quickly do again.

I enjoyed the scenery and that it was a lovely day, unfortunately I dropped off my Segway due to me trying to avoid a huge rock. The tour guide was absolutely kind and supportive, he offered to help clean me off after I fell and made sure I was okay.

Our guide Zee was very helpful and we felt completely cared for. Learning to use the Segway was easy and it was an exhilarating experience. The only potential improvement would have been to use the beach route back to Santa Maria, but we understood the health and safety reasons for why this wasn’t possible.

Sarah was fantastic. Patiently explaining how the machine worked and what to expect. Spoke of the area we travelled through and it’s history, the route took us to the beach and back- the trip was over so quickly- we’d have loved to go straight back out again.
