What to expect
This tour ticks all the boxes for a great day out in nature. A jam-packed outing with visits to a butterfly park, the Jatiluwih rice terraces and Leke-Leke Waterfall to name a few. And, to top it off, a tasty lunch is thrown in, too. Our expert local guide, Nuri, says “the rice terraces at Jatiluwih Village are among the most beautiful in the world, maintained by a traditional and ecological irrigation system used since the 9th century, the Subak system, a practice unique to Bali that incorporates philosophical and spiritual beliefs.”Start the day off wandering around Bali's Butterfly Park in Tabanan, a butterfly and insect conservation area with hundreds of butterflies, including some rare Indonesian species like the birdwing, Bali peacock and the paradise birdwing. Take a stroll through maze-like gardens as you take in the colourful insects fluttering around you. Then, you'll stop by the Jatiluwih rice terraces, which boast UNESCO World Heritage Site status.Continue into the countryside and you'll head to the mountain resort of Bedugul and Lake Beratan. Here, you'll discover the iconic Hindu Shaivite temple of Ulun Danu. Sat on a small viewpoint overlooking the lake, the temple is home to the Goddess of Waters named Danu, who's believed to control the island's irrigation system. Finally, you'll visit Leke-Leke Waterfall, a peaceful cascade that's tucked away in northen Bali's jungle. After a stop for pictures and some time to unwind, you'll start the journey back to your accommodation.

My wife & I have just completed the most incredible tour with Mr. Rimbawa as our guide and Gus Adi as our driver. To simply say they were "excellent" would be a vast understatement; they were the heart and soul of what made our day in Bali so magical, educational, and seamless from start to finish. Water was provided throughout the day & we were not rushed with any of the stops, even went to a coffee plantation which was an added bonus.

Ayu Siti was onze Nederlands sprekende gids. Ze heeft absoluut deze dat tot een geweldige dag gemaakt. Als je deze dag boekt, dan adviseren wij om Ayu als gids te nemen. De chauffeur, helaas ben ik zijn naam vergeten, was een rustige rijder en hij brengt je veilig door de tour heen. Ayu heeft ons extra dingen laten zien. Vooral de lokale markt ( ze had voor een andere markt (minder groot en minder toeristisch) gekozen. We zijn ook naar een Nederlands sprekende houtbewerker geweest. Echt top.

Unser Reiseleiter und Fahrer wahren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, es hat spass gemacht den tag mit ihnen zu verbringen. Leider mussten wir die tour aufgrund von Krankheit vor dem besuch bei den Wasserfällen abbrechen. Wir wurden nach alternativen gefragt welche evtl. In unserem Zustand machbar gewesen wären was uns sehr gefreut hat allerdings gingen wir wider zurück in das Hotel.

We absolutely loved this tour! I think most of that is down to our wonderful tour guide Mr Sudiarsa. He really helped us understand all of the places we visited and shared so much knowledge with us. He made the day amazing and helped us take lots of wonderful photos to capture the beauty of Bali. I would highly recommend this tour and think all of the sights were wonderful and balanced out nicely with the driving time.

Mister Puger, unser Guide sprach deutsch und hat uns sehr viel über Bali, die Kultur die Menschen und ihren Glauben erzählt. Das war für uns extrem interessant. Die verschiedenen Stationen waren alle auf ihre Weise ganz toll. Durch diese Tour, hat sich unsere Sicht auf die Welt, ihre Menschen und deren Kultur sowie die Natur und ihre Tierwelt verändert. Ein Balineser als Guide, der relativ gut deutsch sprechen kann, obwohl er noch nie in Deutschland gewesen ist, ist sehr bemerkenswert. Die Tour war gut organisiert. Der Guide hat uns 1 1/2 Stunden lang ununterbrochen einen Vortrag der Religion gehalten, anfangs interessant jedoch nach einigen Minuten zu viel. Ebenso führte er uns in eine Kopi Luwak Kaffee Plantage, die nicht im Tourplan stand und eine klare Touristenfalle war und ein reiner Verkaufsprozess. Es wurde von Anfang an suggeriert dass man doch die kleinen armen Bauern unterstützen solle - jedoch waren die Preise dermaßen überteuert.

Uns wurde beim Gespräch mehrfach gesagt, diese Tour führe bewusst zu Orten gernab des Massentourismus. Dem war nicht so, ganz im Gegenteil. Der Tempel beispielsweise glich mehr einem Freizeitpark als einem heiligen Ort.

De gids sprak Nederlands en zette zich gedurende de excursie voor 200% in. Zij had veel kennis van zaken. Het mooie is dat er 2 personen aanwezig zijn gedurende de trip: 1 zeer correcte chauffeur en 1 gids, die de hele dag bij je blijft en al je vragen beantwoord. Beiden waren zeer attent, beleefd, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Door mijn gesprekken met deze gids heb ik meer kennis over Bali gekregen.

Due to lot of traffic jam, we could need more time on each desrination. Butterfly Park very Nice with good local Guide, Code plant very interesting, good Guide, good coffe.Nice to see the Rice terraces, lunch on average. Temple interesting and beautiful waterfall. Die Reisterassen waren phänomenal, der Tempel auf dem See mit der Anlage ebenfalls sehr schön. Der Markt war interessant mit den vielfältigen Produkten, ebenso die Schmetterlingsfarm. Den Ausflug zum Wasserfall wollten wir nicht machen wegen Gewitter und Regen und Rutschgefahr.

Mukava ja monipuolinen kokonaisuus. Ympäristön roskaisuus häiritsee yleisesti koko Balin saarella ja sen läheisellä Nusa Penidalla. Retkellä mäki paljon erilaisia asioita ja opas kertoi paljon mm. kulttuurista. Butterfly Park oli hieman pettymys, sillä isoja värikkäitä perhosia ei oikein ollut, kuten tervetuloaesittelyssä näytettiin kuvista. Kokonaisuutena kiva päivä.

The guide Dhuwi was really good. Knowledgeable pleasant and helpful. He listened to our requests and took action. The driver was good and drove safely. The sites were wonderful! Really enjoyed. The food at the restaurant opposite the rice fields overall was great and service was good. Only thing is sites and restaurants should be more disabled friendly and need railings to hold on to for people like me who use a walking aid.

Een hele leuke gids, Candy leuke vrouw zeer attent. Uitstekende uitleg en zorgzaam!! Geweldig Nederlandse uitleg spraak de taal uitstekend! De contactpersoon. Delon daar en tegen waardeloos, reageerde op ons verzoek om nog een excursie te doen, “ niet aanwezig” ! Hij had gewoon een aantal excursie dagen kunnen plaatsen. Bovendien!,!! Vertelde hij dat de excursies duurder waren geworden…….op de prijslijst stond duidelijk dat de onderstaande prijzen niet actueel waren tot april 2025.

Das Geld war gut angelegt, der Fahrer fuhr ruhig und sicher und der Guide konnte in hervoragendem Deutsch viel berichten, sowohl Reisterrassen und Tempel im Wasser sehr sehenswrrt, ein schöner Wasserfall, wir haben auch noch einen grossen Obst Blumen und … Markt gesehen, bei dem Schmetterlingspark hatte ich Riesenfalter und Köfer auf der Hand
