Mother Nature might as well have designed the beaches and dunes of Sal for quad biking – because they're ideal for this adrenaline-pumping activity. We'll take you to the world-famous Kite Beach in the southeast of the island for an experience that'll get your races pulsing. You can choose either a two or four-hour quad ride.You'll be picked up from your hotel and we'll soon be making a beeline for the island's famous salt plains. Once you've trundled past Serra Negra mountains and the white salt flats, you won't be far from Kite Beach.This beach gets its name from the legions of kitesurfers who come here for the huge swells and high winds. This excursion is almost a whistle-stop tour of the island – with a rip-roaring bit of fun in a quad being the icing on the cake.

A quad bike can carry 1 person (1 driver) or 2 people (1 driver and 1 passenger) for the same price and same ticket
You must be over 18 and have a valid driving licence to drive the quad
Minimum age is 14 while 14-17-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult
Not suitable for expectant mothers or guests with back problems
Not suitable for guests with reduced mobility
Children must be supervised by an adult (over 18 years) at all time

Het was een leuke ervaring. Wel veel stof. Bij een eerdere Quad tour in Curacao werd ons drinken/water aangeboden en was er meer groen. Dit is natuurlijk hoe SAL is. Mijn Quad had eenmaal een probleem om de heuvel op te komen maar verder was hij OK.

We got picked up on time and as this took place near Sal Town, the journey was not even 10 minutes from out hotel which was a bonus. Once we got there, the guide didn't waste no time, Nick explained how to use the quads and how long we would be out. We had helmets for protection which felt really safe. This was a 3 hour quad bike experience and it is so worth the money. The views you see are unreal. A fantastic way of seeing Sal whilst enjoying the thrill of the quads.

At least two hours over 3+ of fast pace, up down, hairpin turns on sand, rough terrain and stone. First time on a quad bike at 68 yrs old - far exceeded expectations. Having a full motorcycle licence and being an adrenaline junkie certainly helped me enjoy this fantastic morning out from the mundane hotel. Excellent value for money, many thanks.

Une excursion d’exception pour découvrir l’authenticité de l’île de Sal, sa nature préservée, ses paysages emblématiques ainsi que l'envers de la ville de Santa Maria. Ce circuit en quad traverse les salines et les dunes de Santa Maria, puis s’aventure au cœur de plaines volcaniques parsemées de galets, avant de gravir une colline offrant un panorama saisissant. Pendant trois heures, ce parcours permet également d'admirer les spots de sky-surf et de surf de l'île. Grand merci à notre Guide.

Wir sind 3h mit dem Quat durch Sal gefahren. Über Sand und Stein. Wir können leider kein englisch, so konmte unser Guide uns nicht viel erzählen, aber wir sind an verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten gewesen und konnten Fotos machen und die Aussicht geniessen. Wer wärmeempfindlich ist, sollte lange Hosen tragen, da der Motor vom Quat auf der rechten Seite beim Bein ist, dass kann bei geringem Fahrtwind warm werden. Wir waren mit kurzen Hosen unterwegs und das war super!

Die Quad Tour selbst war super. Die Guides waren auf Sicherheit bedacht, ein Fotograf hat die Tour begleitet; die Fotos konnten wir uns im Anschluss aussuchen. Insgesamt waren die Mitarbeiter des Anbieters sehr freundlich und flexibel. Immerhin hatte TUI uns vergessen abzuholen und dadurch waren wir in einer Gruppe mit Franzosen. Da wir nichts verstanden, wurde sofort jemand geholt, der unsere Sprache konnte. .

Das war eine rundum gelungene Tour mit einem supernetten Tour-Guide! Von der Auswahl der Strecke und der angesteuerten Plätze war ganz sicher für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Unser Guide war zudem sehr auf Sicherheit bedacht. So hat er z. B. das mir zugewiesene Quad während der laufenden Tour austauschen lassen, da er einen Defekt bemerkte, der vorher nicht da war. Ich kann die Tour nur empfehlen!

The pickup and drop off from our hotel reception was really appreciated and made the trip hassle free. When we got there the staff were great and very friendly. We got a really good spin out and saw some great sites. At the end there was a zero pressure chance to buy some really good quality pics of the day at what I thought was a good price - good souvenir of an excellent experience

We (family of 3) had a great experience with this trip. The guide was brilliant and there was a photographer that is definitely worth the extra money. Not the cheapest trip, but full on fun and worth every penny. We stopped in some beautiful spots along the way. Take some euros in your pocket for a drink in a small cafe. I left my money back at the office where we started so couldn't get a drink. I didnt realise we would be stopping at any point.

Uns hat es viel Spaß gemacht. EDDIE war ein super Leader und hat eine mega coole Tour mit uns gemacht. Er war sehr freundlich und hat es toll gemacht. Einziges leichtes Problem war das Qaud war nicht beidseitig gleich zu lenken eine Seite ging nicht so weit bzw schwerer zu lenken. Ansonsten alles top.

I do a lot of quad biking when I travel and this ranks the best! The staff at the office and the guide could not do enough for me and my son. We did an4 hour ride and we loved everything about it and safety and fun were their clear priorities. Can recommend this firm enough!!

Brilliant way to explore the island, great patience from the guides. Even if you're a little nervous I'd highly recommend and an absolute bargain for the amount of time and exploration. Really enjoyed it with 2 of us on a quad. Take glasses and a face mask, you can put a small bag in the quad too.

Leuke begeleiding. Het enige verbeterpunt wat ik kan doorgeven is meer stops maken onderweg. Was leuk geweest als we ook waren gestopt waar er gesurfd werd. De begeleider was enthousiast en vertelde ook veel. Er waren 2 stops. Ontzettend mooi. Het quadrijden was heel gaaf. Zo tof om op een avontuurlijke manier iets van het eiland te zien. Tof dat er foto's onderweg werden gemaakt.

Je déplore l'attitude peu professionnelle des équipes TUI au moment de notre réservation à notre hôtel Riu Cabo Verde. Nous avions réservé 3 activités et la veille au soir, les équipes annulent l'activité du lendemain matin en faisant passer un mot via la réception... très déçu nous avons voulu annuler nos activités, mais la politique d'annulation s'applique que dans un sens. Le service clientèle est à déplorer. Pour l'activité quad, c'est notre guide qui dû nous ramener à l'hôtel...

Took me a while to master the steering as it was pretty heavy going on the arms so turning was fun especially over rough ground. Alizio, our guide kept checking how I was getting on & offered some advice which was really helpful . The trip was amazing - saw areas of the island I hadn’t managed so far - & riding through dunes, over rough terrain, up hills & over the salt flats was exhilarating.. I’d recommend it!

The staff were excellent and made sure we all understood what to do and were safe at all times. The price has gone up considerably and the tour only took in a few interesting places. The tour in the past visited the desert to see the mirages and the shark reefs both of which were not included on this three hour tour.

Die Tour war super ???? Nur die Wartung der Bikes ist nicht so optimal ! Auf der rechten Seite habe ich mir den Unterschenkel an dem verkleideten Auspuff verbrannt , was ich dann nicht so toll fand , man sollte die bikes besser warten !

Heel leuke activiteit. Je ziet plekken waar je anders niet komt. Heel tof dat er stops worden ingelast. Wij hebben met 2 op 1 quad gereden en dat was best comfortabel en dan is het ook een goeie prijs. Ideaal voor de mensen die graag iets actiefs willen doen.

Die Quad Tour hat mir insgesamt gut gefallen die Sicherheit war nicht so gut da die Fahrzeuge nicht richtig gewartet werden .Bei dem Fahrzeug wo ich hatte ging die Vorderbremse nicht .Die Sicherheit von den Fahrzeugführer muss halt gewährleistet sein.

Good bunch of guys running this . Guide looked out for us and made sure we were safe and kept together. They have a really friendly chap with a resemblance to Jack Black taking action photos of you throughout (only 30 euros for 90 photos) no hard sell . Very good

Die 4h war sehr gut einmal um bzw. über die ganze Insel, 90% off road. Es gab stops an Aussichtspunkten, bei den Zitronen Haien und an einem Hafen. Die fata morgana haben wir auch gesehen bei der sind wir aber nur langsam vorbei gefahren was aber für mich vollkommen gereicht hat. Auf jedenfall ein cooles Erlebnis mit einem sehr lieben Guide der immer gefragt hat ob alles gut ist. Auch während des Fahrens hat er uns immer im Blick.

Did the 4 hour tour for my 60th Birthday. Having done the 4 hour in Boa Vista and loved it, we wanted to do it on Sal as it's a completely different landscape. This was a great experience as it's a rocky moon like surface which made it more challenging than Boa Vista. My only gripe is that we had to buy our own drinks when we stopped and that it was literally double the price of Boa Vista for the same experience, other than that we would recommend it.

Ended up as a private tour by myself with Eddie as the guide,never ridden one before but easy to ride and control after a few mins ,was able to go at my own pace and found experience very pleasurable,would recommend
