Absolutely loved this tour. There were experienced & inexperienced cyclists on the tour & everyone had a great time. We stopped at different stops to explore & the tour guide told us a little about each area. Mechanica the dog joined us on the tour too, for the first half he met us at each stop (after dipping his paws along the coastline), & then, for the 2nd half he joined the tour guide on his bike - making the tour even more special. Definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

The electric bike trip has been the highlight of our holiday. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the cycle store in Santa Maria where we collected the bikes. The guides were very friendly and professional and made sure that we were all together throughout the ride. The route took us over beach paths to Shell beach, kite beach and to the salt fields before we went to a beach bar for a drink stop and then back to Santa Maria. Het was een hele leuke tour met diverse hoogtepunten, zoals de ruige kust, turtle beach, salt mine en kite beach. Leer de boost knop te gebruiken op de fiets. Die helpt je uit los zand te komen en heel makkelijk als je even niet wilt fietsen ;-) Aan het einde wordt afgesloten met een drankje bij een strandtent. Het zou leuk zijn om dit als groep te doen, geregeld vanuit de organisatie. Nu ging iedereen aan een ander tafeltje zitten.

The tour was excellent, I would have been happy with a longer tour seeing a wider range of the island, but appreciate it's not for everyone so I think it was pitched correctly as advertised. The guide was great, and the dogs were the highlight

The 2 guides were brilliant giving good Information with humour. What really made our experience was the dog which they called the mechanic. It was so funny that it new the short cuts around Santa Maria and was sitting out side some of our stops waiting for us .Then half the way round he got a ride in basket and he sat there like a king.Would recommend the electric bike experience to anyone

Our guide (Lekki) or Fortuna (not sure I've spelt either version correctly) was amazing he was knowledgeable of course and showed us the best of Sanata Maria. We had a few stop offs for him to explain about the area, kite beach and the salt flats were my faves. The bikes were a great experience big fat boy tyres that makes it a smooth safe ride across the sand and some bumpy bits. Definitely an experience i would recommend.

Die Fahrräder hatten ein zu starke Beschleunigung (selbst im niedrigsten Level), sodass ein Fahren für ungeübte E-Biker schwierig war. Da die Tour mitten in der belebten Einkaufsstraße startete, war auch ein vertraut machen mit dem Bike vorab nicht möglich.

Not ridden a bike in a long time never ridden an E-Bike but was quiet straight forward guides kept checking if each rider was ok for the whole tour . Saw places that were well away from built up areas so enjoyed seeing how the people live day to day. Fortuna our main guide was excellent and continuously gave us information about his country

Het waren goede e-bikes met dikke banden, dat was wel nodig ook. We hebben ook veel off-road gefietst met hobbels en stenen maar zéker de moeite waard. Mooie dingen gezien. Een avontuur :)

The tour itself was well run and the guide ‘Lucky’ made it varied and interesting. In all we covered around 20kms and saw some aspects of the area around Santa Maria we’d probably not normally see. It was especially refreshing to know we were safe and in good hands. Any issues with equipment that arose were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Getting everyone sorted before the off was a little tiresome but the briefing was concise and informative. I’d recommend the e-bike excursion to anyone.

What a fantastic trip. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw lots of the bottom part of the island and had the pleasant company of Mechanic (Max) the elderly company dog. The bikes we're so easy to use. Crash helmets we're supplied and a basket clipped onto the back of your bike for your things. The tour guide (Lucky) was so friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this trip.

Voor het eerst op een fatbike. Onze gids (Jeremiah) was heel aardig en wist op een hele leuke manier te vertellen over het eiland en wat we onderweg allemaal tegen kwamen. Ik vond het wel jammer dat we iedere keer snelheid moesten minderen om bij elkaar te blijven. Had het leuk gevonden langere tijd 'voluit' te gaan. We werden om 8.00 uur opgehaald en rond 13.00 uur waren we weer terug in het hotel, dus redelijk lang onderweg geweest. Al met al een geslaagde ochtend ! Zeker een aanrader !!!

Superleuke excursie die ik iedereen aanraad. Leuk om op de fiets (soort fatbike) een deel van het eiland te ontdekken. De gids (lucky) kon veel vertellen over de verschillende plekken op het eiland (schelpen, vulkaan, zoutwinning, natuurgebied, schildpadden en seizoenen maar ook over de lokale bevolking). Al met al dikke aanrader!

Met een internationaal gezelschap en een Engels-/Franstalige gids hebben we (4 personen, 60+) deze tour gedaan. Prima (veilige) begeleiding van de gids Lucky, de mecanicien en de hond mecanic. Goede en leuke uitleg bij de diverse onderdelen, goede instructie (onderweg) voor het gebruik van de fietsen. En genoeg gezien van het zuiden van het eiland rondom de stad Santa Maria: deel van de stad, zoutwinning, (kite)stranden, schildpaddenstrand. Ook hierbij veel geleerd over de eilandbewoners.

Another great day out and about on the electric bikes with our fabulous guide Fortz! I’ve now done this trip 3 times. The routes sometimes change slightly and gives you an insight into life in Santa Maria and CV. You get to see the salt lakes and Kite Beach along the way and also time for a welcome little beer stop towards the end of the ride ??. Great value for money and great fun! The rough terrain did prove a bit difficult for some of the riders so I would suggest this is not for beginners.

We didn’t get picked up on the date we booked, waited at reception for an hour but no one turned up. We spoke with our TUI rep who was amazing, booked us on another date and was very apologetic that we had been forgotten about. The staff at the excursion were amazing, our guide Lucky was superb and so knowledgable about the island and places we visited. I would suggest that you make people aware that the bikes are heavy and that the trip goes across rough terrain at parts.

Die Fatebike-Tour im Süden von Sal hat uns super gefallen, wir haben viel gesehen und erfahren, es begann in Santa Maria, dann Turtlebeach, Kitesurferstrand, Salinengebiet, dann rüber zur Westküste mit Strandbar, richtig tolle Tour, etwa 25 km, vielen Dank!

Leuke gidsen, één voor de groep en één achteraan de groep zodat de groep mooi bij elkaar bleef. Één iemand bleef achter door technische problemen net de fiets maar deze werden vakkundig aangepakt door de gids achteraan de groep. Leuke weetjes werden verteld over het land met een humoristische noot.

Enjoyed the ovetall exprience but wasn't prepared for how heavy the bikes were. This should be highlighted in the sales pitch for beginners or stated that this is for people with experience or knowledge of electric bikes. It also shows photos of off road but perhaps show photos of on road too. It was unsettling at times. Guides were very knowledgeable, helpful & supportive. Good excursion.

Opas ajoi todella lujaa pyörällä hankalassakin maastossa. Oli välillä todella vaikea pysyä perässä itsesuojeluvaiston omaavana henkilönä. Fyysisesti ja henkisesti välillä todella lujilla. Välillä onneksi pysähdyttiin ja ihan voittajaolo, kun siitä lopulta selvisi hengissä.

De gids was super ! De tour was leuk en waard voor je geld. Neem wel drinken mee. Op het laatst zijn we bij een plek gestopt waar je kon drinken. Verwacht ook onverharde wegen en veel zand. Hou hier rekening mee als je niet stevig op je fiets kan zitten.

What a fantastic adventure - a 20k e-bike tour of southern Sal. Lucky and Jeremias where our tour guides. The bikes are great and you don’t need to put much effort in to get them to go!!!! If you are smaller than 5’2” - you may struggle with the seat height. The tour dog joined us, he ran the first half and then sat in a basket for the 2nd half - he was the “security guard”.
