Gids vertelde gepassioneerd. Eten was ook goed. En dat was het positieve. Het was veel te massaal! Alleen 2 planeten gezien, verder niet echt dingen aangewezen. Duurde ook veel te lang. Het leek meer op een uitetentje ipv de wonderen te zien. Er was live muziek, een man speelde op een keyboard en zong in het Frans. Als wij niet klapten na een liedje was hij gepikeerd. Lijkt me logischer dat hij er voor ons was en wij niet voor hem!

Scam don’t waste ya time and money just take some food from the hotel restaurant and lay on the beach at night and just look up at the sky save yourself £60 each ps the foo on this trip is disturbing I wouldn’t feed a stray donkey it would be a animal Welfare crime to do so

Het was bewolkt. Niets gezien. De trip had moeten worden gecanceld. De weersvoorspelling was zeer duidelijk, het zou alleen maar bewolkt zijn. Dat kon iedereen zien op de weerapp, dus Tui ook. Jammer wik hadden ons erop verheugd.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening and not like any other experience I have had before. Even got to see Jupiter and its moons through the telescope. The atmosphere and food were authentic to Cape Verde as was the music and we loved it.

Star gazing was interesting and quite well presented. The dinner part of the evening was the low point. We sat for almost 75 minutes, with only a drink, not even a bread roll. When the food finally arrived it was tepid and some meat was already dry and didn't appear freshly cooked. There seemed to an emphasis on selling drinks rather than ensuring an enjoyable evening.

Een leuke avond gehad. We hadden alleen de pech dat het wat bewolkt was en dus niet veel sterren hebben gezien. Gelukkig konden we met de telescopen wel Jupiter van dichtbij aanschouwen Het eten was lekker en de sfeer was goed. De man, die over her sterrenstelsel en de planeten vertelde vond zichzelf erg grappig. Dat was het enige minpuntje.

Gezellige lokatie waar de informatie vooraf werd gegeven met gezellige muziek en lekker eten. Tussendoor naar buiten waar twee telescopen klaarstonden en verteld werd waar je naar keek. Deze gidsen helpen je ook met het maken van een foto van het beeld in de telescoop. Daarna een stukje de woestijn in en daar verdere uitleg over de zichtbare sterren en planeten. Wij hebben een topavond gehad met een vrij heldere sterrenhemel!

The trip started ok but after the welcome drink, it went downhill for a bit. It was a pity. The staff were great but the buffet dinner was free for all, which resulted in the food being stone cold. Then it improved. The desert trek and the guide were fantastic, we all enjoyed watching and learning about the night sky, unfortunately the weather was against them. The guide was funny and informative. All in all a good experience apart from the buffet.

We wisten niet goed wat we ervan konden verwachten maar het heeft alles overtroffen. Het vervoer naar de activiteit toe, het diner en de sfeer, de kennis en ervaring van de staff en de totale ervaring was geweldig. Er werd met veel energie, humor en liefde voor de natuur en het sterrenstelsel verteld. De complimenten aan het gehele team en met name 'Mr. Smile' die onze avond echt heeft gemaakt.

It was a memorable outing and seeing Jupiter through a telescope, and the desert by moonlight, were experiences I will remember for a long time. I have given it 8/10 purely because I didn’t like the food in the restaurant that much - I’m not keen on grilled fish and don’t like chicken on the bone. So, that part of the experience wasn’t really for me. But the service was excellent and the guides were knowledgeable and entertaining to listen too. Overall, I couldn’t fault the service.

Es war sehr schön, die Sterne in deutsch gezeigt und erklärt zu bekommen. Dass wir mit der Decke bewaffnet uns auf den Sand legen konnten und mit dem Laserstrahl die wertvollen Informationen erhielten, hat besonders Spaß gemacht. Die musikalische Begleitung am Abend war sehr schön. Alles in allem ein gelungener Ausflug. Essen war auch schmackhaft.

The whole evening was fantastic, the staff very warm and friendly making the whole experience memorable. The food was fresh and tasty. The guides were very knowledgeable and also made it fun and entertaining, laying in the sands looking at the stars is a experience not to miss, would highly recommend this experience.

You could be a little clearer on how cold it can be, more than just a jacket would be helpful. The staff and whole trip was amazing though. We really enjoyed it learnt so much. Very memorable part of our holiday.

Wir hatten den Ausflug in deutsch gebucht, leider haben wir die Erläuterungen über den herrlichen Sternenhimmel 45 Min. auf Englisch hören müssen.Vorher hatten wir den Ausflug: Südliches Boa Vista mit Beccy, die ausgezeichnet und lustig alles erklärt hat. Beim Sandboarding waren wir in genau dem selben Restaurant, wie abends im Dessert Delight. Tagsüber sieht man die Schluchten um das Restaurant und in Wärme ist es sehr nett dort. Beim Abendausflug war es sehr kalt und windig, wir hätten dieses

Am Anfang war es total bewölkt und wir fragten uns, warum der Ausflug nicht wie versprochen abgesagt wurde. Danach hat es aber noch aufgetan und es war ein super tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen ausgezeichnet, die Crew extrem kompetent und bemüht. Wir haben es genossen. Die Erwartungen wurden ziemlich erfüllt. Einziges Minus: es war ein 5dl Softgetränk (2.50 €) oder ein Glas Wein inbegriffen. Wir wollten Wasser ohne Kohlensäure und haben nur 2dl (1,5 Liter/3€) gekriegt. Danach mussten wir bezahlen.

Star college was very knowledgeable and all staff were very helpful and friendly. Being in our sixty we didn't do the laying down on sand as it would have been hrad work getting up again but the staff looked after us very well . Would recommend sand chairs for people like us that would have liked the chance to see the star's with the rest of group .

Everything was excellent - picked up on time, taken to the desert area then shown numerous constellations with fantastic information by our guides along with planet viewing through large telescopes. Good and plentiful meal. Unable to fault this experience in any way

Is niet echt een woestijn. Eten redelijk. Bediening verkoopt graag cocktails en kan niet rekenen koennadat ik al betaald heb nogmaals geld halen vanwege door hun gemaakte fout van 2€. Sterren is kort en muziek mwa. Zou het niet aanbevelen.

Booked this trip through the First Choice app got the voucher with pick up time stated as 645pm , so we headed down for 645, waited until 730 no pick up arrived, i called customer service was promised a call back this never happenned. I went and spoke to the Tui rep in the hotel who advised we should have been there 10 to 15mins early, this instruction is not stated on the voucher i received I am still waiting for a responce regarding the refund 24hrs later. Very dissapointed!

De locatie is teleurstellend, het is geen “woestijn” het is een zandvlakte van 10 meter, er staan 2 telescopen voor 50 mensen, daarbij is het eten zeer beperkt en teleurstellend, het gaat ook meer om het eten en extra drankjes verkopen dan om de sterren. Je zit 2 uur in een blokhut met beperkte keuze uit eten, zeker voor kinderen is er niks. Om vervolgens 10 minuten naar sterren te kunnen kijken. En dan ben je nog een uur kwijt aan reizen heen en terug ook. Ik zou dit nooit aanraden.

Tsja, via een geautomatiseerd systeem wordt er een review gevraagd over een excursie die niet door is gegaan, en ook niet geannuleerd werd waardoor we vergeefs hebben staan wachten en het oudjaarsdiner hebben moeten missen. En dat is al de tweede Tui excursie deze week die niet doorging. Dus mijn advies: boek je excursies elders!

Sternen-Bilder wurden ausführlich erklärt. Teilnehmer durften Fotos vom Mond über das Teleskop machen.Das Essen gab es als Buffet. Essen war gut und reichlich . Es wurde in allen Sprachen erklärt. ( Deutsch,Englisch, Französisch,Spanisch, Italienische,Holländisch ....) Es wurde auf alle Gäste eingegangen. Diese Tour ist sehr zu Empfehlen!!!

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff certainly knew their astronomy and through their knowledge & equipment were able to see Jupiter and 3 of its moons and Saturn through their telescopes. Unfortunately, as there was a half moon, it was too bright to see the Milky Way as we had hoped but that was the only downside to the evening. The food and service in the restaurant was superb.

This was a complete rip off. We were told by the TUI guide that the experience would be cancelled if it was too cloudy, yet despite extremely cloudy conditions, it went ahead. There was absolutely nothing to see - not even the stars or the moon, which were heavily advertised. The food was disgusting and nowhere near worth the amount of money paid. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had

Ondanks de blackout maakte het personeel er het beste van. Het diner bij kaarslicht gaf zelfs extra charme aan de excursie. Goede uitleg van de gidsen over wat we zagen aan de hemel en door de telescopen

Food was poor, little choice if you didn't like the meat or fish option. My husband had rice and beans and potato for his meal more vegetables could be offered and on top of this the food was Luke warm. Enjoyed the talk on the stars unfortunately it was cloudy.

Food was excellent. Telescopes were great. Wish we had more time with them. Guides were very knowledgeable. We appreciated the small group size. The musician in the restaurant was excellent also. Great night.

Trotz bedecktem Himmel an den Abenden zuvor und den Tag über fand der Ausflug statt, mit dem Ergebnis, dass wir vor dem Essen minimal Sicht hatten, nach dem Essen aber der Himmel komplett zugezogen wsr, wir in den paar Minuten in der Wüste zwar viel erzählt bekamen, aber nicht einen Stern und selbst den Mond, der fast voll war nur ab und zu gesehen haben. Der Ausflug hätte abgesagt gehört, so war es leider Verarsche, zumal wir vorher extra gefragt haben, ob bei schlechter Sucht abgesagt wird.

Op 28/11 heb ik via TUI deelgenomen aan de excursie “sterrenkijken”. Helaas viel de ervaring aanzienlijk tegen doordat er tijdens de gehele activiteit veel bewolking was, waardoor sterrenkijken vrijwel onmogelijk bleek. Ik begrijp dat weersomstandigheden niet te beïnvloeden zijn. Tegelijkertijd is het doel van deze excursie volledig afhankelijk van goed zicht. In dit geval was de activiteit niet zoals omschreven en kon de kern van de excursie niet worden aangeboden.

Ein toller Abend in schöner Location in der Wüste mit freundlichen Service. Die Erklärungen zu den Sternbildern Galaxien etc. waren toll, sowie die Teleskope und ein Highlight war der kurze Spaziergang in die Wüste und das Liegen auf Decken mit Blick in die Sterne. Wichtig: auch vor und zwischen dem Essen sollte man es nicht verpassen, draußen die Sterne durch die Teleskope zu beobachten.

The trip itself was pretty good apart from the food which gave my wife an upset stomach we believe but are not sure ..one thing we are sure of is the poor driving by the driver Ronaldo ...im sure you need to slow down a 9 ton bus at roundabouts , being a mechanic and a truck driver myself in the if i had seen his driving on our roads i would immediately have reported the vehicle being driven erratic to the authorities, also at the end of the trip at the hotel one chap got off quick to be sick

It needs to be clearly explained that it is quite a walk down the dunes, and it is an uphill walk back. There are no lights and there is also no provision for people who are unable to get up and down off the floor/ ground. There are also narrow and a high step to get into the restaurant. My partner walks with a stick as she had a stroke, but also the bus steps were too high and she struggled. All this needs to be made clear at booking. Maybe check on people
