Pick up was late No communication we managed to find out what was happening Trip advertised 2-3 stops with swim and snorkelling We got 1 with snorkel No coconut beach and second stop just a blue bit of sea not snorkelling - Would have been better to stay longer to snorkel in first area Some of this due to the seaweed but aware others who went on boat trip on same day wento places which were without seaweed and idyllic No info about coral restoration or conservation despite tui mentioning this

This excursion was by far the best thing we did while we were in the DR. The boat crew were all very friendly and helpful. Don Julio is the absolute best guide and took such good care of us and made the experience more than memorable. The food from the floating kitchen was probably the best we had on the whole trip.

A great half day experience, with good knowledgeable guys on the boat & kept the music , open bar going plenty of room on the boat & wasn’t overcrowded, food was excellent as well as a small snack of fruit & small roll , the main meal came along the side of the catamaran on like a kitchen boat & was served to order with a metal knife & fork seafood plater had lobster, octopus, prawns white fish chips & veg ! Take you to the beech & have a coconut with rum & the guy cuts it open to eat too 😎🌴👍

Korte tijd. 3 stops. 1 met vissen eten geven ok. 1 strand maar niet opgegaan omwille van te veel zeewier zeiden ze. Laatste stop water gewoon. Niet zoals op foto’s. Weinig te maken met rifrestauratie. Slecht eten. Personeel vrij koel en weinig vragend. Te veel geld voor wat het was.

The main guide (sorry forgot his name) ‘barked like a dog’🤭he was really entertaining and friendly, snorkelling was good and coconut beach, brilliant got some good photos, the boat was lovely and clean, food and drinks delicious, we met some lovely friendly people, would highly recommend 🥰xx

The whole trip from start to finish was first class. Mini bus held 6 people and the catamaran must have been about 25 people. The food was delicious and the staff made sure we had a good time and fed the fish so we could see many. Would definitely recommend Sharkys to anyone

Probably the best catamaran cruise we have done, plenty of space tables to eat at, open bar with very friendly crew. An excellent lunch was provided. The only problem we found was being more mature getting on and off the boat at the snorkeling venues wasn't easy.

I really enjoyed the boat ride and the snorkeling, the food was wonderful and the coconut water was very refreshing. I think that I would have liked a little more information about the reef and especially the place that we went snorkeling last where there was a man made reef.

Good boat and crew, great food and drinks. Snorkel was great in good area, with good gear and fish food to attract fish was great. Coconut drinks on the beach was a beautiful setting. Then more time on a sandbar in the ocean was a great location. Overall one of the better snorkel trips we have been on. Crew is great.

Our sales rep misrepresented the trip and overcharged us $100 when paying with a card. She said we would go to a coconut plantation and learn more about the process of making coconut oil and other products. The truth is that we stopped at an island where a man was standing to open coconuts for us while our Sharky's staff put sugar and rum in them for us to drink. Still a great experience, but major misrepresentation. In addition, our bus driver hit a car on the way to the boat.

Absolutely everything was excellent. The pick up was on time. Ever member of staff was polite, engaging, caring, considerate and safety conscious. We had the best lobster ever and the steak was amazing. I am now hooked on rum punches that we had dancing in the sea. We had the most memorable time and we will never forget it. Thank you, Sharkie. I am hoping to come back to The Dominican Republic next year with my sisters and we will definately book this experience.

We sat at the hotel for over an hour waiting to be picked up. Nobody came. Overall with prep and trying to find out what happened it wasted nearly 3 hours of our precious holiday time. Very dissatisfied. We’ll see what the local TUI reps do and if we go tomorrow (and what compensation they provide)?

It's such a wonderful excursion, definitely recommend. Our guide was so lovely and funny, we felt very safe with all of the staff we interacted with and led our tour. The floating restaurant was awesome and the food was INCREDIBLE. The snorkeling is fun, it was great we got fish food to entice the fish to swim around us. It was nice we had extra time at the end to walk through the market and purchase local goods.

It was fun being on the boat nd the meal was good. The rest of the trip was disappointing. The snorkeling was crowded and only a few fish. The "private beach" was a waste of time. We all stood around on a tiny strip of beach for 15-20 minutes while 2 of the crew tossed a football with no explanation of why we were there. Eventually a guy showed up with a manchette and split open coconuts and the crew added rum and gave it to us after which we waded/swam back to the boat.

First, Gian at Majestic Mirage suggested an AWSOME half-day excursion for the four of us. George and his crew on the boat were GREAT!! I especially liked that they all really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Cudos to management for that. The food from the floating “food truck” was better than anything we’ve had at our resort. In all, the four of us had a WONDERFUL time. Thank you!

Don Julio was the best! We were a little skeptical being from the US and our first time traveling but overall we would love to do this again! The staff are very friendly, helpful, and fun! The food was delicious and the snorkeling was a great first experience! As well as being a great price in our opinion for all that is included! I would recommend this to anyone interested in enjoying an excursion!

The cruise was fantastic, the snorkelling opportunities were amazing with lots to see. Can’t rave about the lunch enough- tender steak and perfectly cooked seafood. The only let down is the walk through souvenir vendors at the end of the trip. Everything else is amazing!

Absolutely amazing experience, had a fantastic time from start to finish. The tour guides are really friendly and helpful. I’m not a strong swimmer and they were really supportive and made me feel safe when I was snorkelling. The food was fantastic. Nothing felt rushed and overall we had an amazing time. The Sharky team are very friendly, funny and welcoming. The odd time we could’ve done with a better explanation of “the bar ingredients are now in the water over there, feel free to hop off for a drink in the sea” kind of thing, but it’s not a big deal, we had plenty to drink. I liked the menu offerings, I LOVED the beach and coconut drink stop & the snorkelling felt safe. Hated walking through the vendors between the reception and boat, felt harassed even if briefly.

Trip is excellent but let down by TUI rep telling us the wrong pick up point. Arrived at destination 45 minutes late which delayed the sailing departure for everyone else. Also told we would be allowed to take hotel towels.. which were taken from us by security at gate. The TUI rep apologised for wrong information, but never checked back with to make sure we actually made the sailing. The actual trip is really good and food quality excellent
