Sentiero escursionistico guidato attraverso la foresta pluviale di Sensoria
Esplorare una sezione privata del vulcano Rincon de la Vieja
Possibilità di avvistare scimmie, fiori e fauna tropicale
Cosa aspettarsi

Felt very unsafe travelling to location as driver was constantly on his phone while driving. Once we arrived both the local guide and TUI guide gave very little information while walking round the forest. Was expecting more wildlife and guides made little effort to find anything. A few times the guides were just on their phones and even went missing at one point in the forest. Lunch was good but other than that very poor value for money. Has now made us rethink if TUI are for us now.

Great day. As it says on the tin our visit to the rainforest was met with torrential rain. It may have been a bad day as it was like that throughout. Alas we didn’t see much wildlife as a result but that didn’t detract. Walking through the rainforest in torrential rain was superb. The sensoria is a private/remote estate and so was very private. The waterfalls and thermal pools were great

Lovely area of tropical rainforest. We saw monkeys and Toucans on the coach drive to sensoria, but not much wildlife at the place itself other than some great trees, a hummingbird and a few butterflies. If you are going expecting to see Pumas, Tapirs, and a host of other things, you may be disappointed. The walk itself is lovely, and we had the chance to bath in not one but four pools. To be clear - this was more of a "wild swimming" experience than a wildlife hike, but it was very enjoyable!

We visited 2 waterfalls and one pool. We really enjoyed it but the waterfalls were very cold, the water wasn’t as blue as we’d expected and the pool wasn’t as warm as we expected. We also expected to visit several hot pools rather than just one. The guide was really informative. The food was really good and even catered very well for my son who is coeliac (gluten free pasta). Overall I would recommend this trip.

Didnt realise this is like a park experience I thought we would be hiking along proper rain forest trails. Not something set up for tourists. Having said that I did enjoy it and saw some amazing animals.

A wonderful rainforest experience. The waterfalls and tropical plants were incredible. Our guides were extremely knowledgable about the flora and fauna, pointing out what each plant was and any animals we encountered (including a sleeping viper snake and some big cat footprints that we would never have seen had the guide not been there!). The waterfalls were incredible, the pools and thermal springs we swam in were brilliant fun and we even got an unexpected tub of juicy fruit to eat at one of the stops. It did rain while we were in the rainforest, which only added to an already amazing experience. After the tour we had a good lunch at the lodge, too.

The guide’s knowledge of the environment was excellent. We were expecting more walking through forest to see more wildlife than we did. You need to be fit…. There are a lot of steps in different inclines to negotiate. Overall worth the trip

Hi excellent and informed guide. Great lunch, nice size of group, left feeling we had a full rain forest adventure. Would be too strenuous for small children and people with health conditions that may limit them physically as lots of steps up and down. Everyone should be advised to bring a raincoat and a change of clothing. More detail on the app would be welcomed.

Hotel staff were fantastic. Wildlife was incredible. Only thing I was put off by was the culture of bleeding tourists dry. Everythings really expensive, and when a tour costs £120 per person I don't really expect to tip everyone I meet on it.

This was a really good day out and we both enjoyed it very much overall. The journey to and from the location is extremely bumpy so not great if you've just eaten and don't travel well. You won't see a lot of wildlife on this tour but don't let that put you off, the area is absolutely stunning. Some great locations for some pictures and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and always had time to talk about things we saw. There are a couple of places with some very deep steps so be careful if you are considering taking children or you're not so good on your feet. Overall, really enjoyed the day out even if we were aching a bit the next day!!

Be prepared for a long day, but it is worth it, the rainforest was excellent and hilly, not good if you do not like heights, the rope bridges were magnificent, the views were spectacular, the hot baths were a perfect end to the tour, a one off experience, I would highly recommend this trip
