It was just about right the amount of time spent at Ricks Cafe. Saying a visit to a market was miss leading as was one shop, not a market as we know it in the uk, however, the shop was nice and had a good selection of things

Driver Robert was so knowledgeable and freindly, informed us of all the different places we drove through and made sure we had enough time at Rick's Cafe to see the sunset. Rick's was everything we expected, a great experience. All in all it was a great trip and really good value. We were picked up from the hotel at 2pm and arrived back at around 8pm

We had a great day at ricks cafe . Lovely atmosphere. Table service not good im afraid , we were going to bar ourselves & a waitress told us we didn't have to as they would serve us , we got served once & no vodka in my vodka & orange . Tried over charging us too .We just ended up going bar ourselves. Floors were slippey outside toilets my partner slipped & fell & a lady helped him up

The "craft market" was a standard tourist shop, nothing special or different. They had a good range to choose from and staff were friendly but definitely not a craft market. The bus driver crashed the bus into a wall after picking up some guests. Bus was damaged. Don't know if it was his fault or issues with the bus but he gave no reassurances. No seatbelts for safety. We got a taxi back. Rick's was ok, wouldn't do it again

Very cheap booking through the TUI app, took the bus tour which was great as you get to see other parts of Jamaica. Didn't like the fact you are not allowed to take any food or drink through the entrance of Rick's cafe, we only had water as it was so hot but we had to pour it out and buy more inside. Overall it was a great day out.

Hi, we said that we would like to go make some shopping. We thought we would go to some big market with many shops in the centre of town. On place of it we were more than 3 hours in some big loud bar with possibility to sním and jumping from the clif. We dont have swimmsuit and towels. So we only more than 3 hours sit and look around ourselves. And for shopping we were half hour in some small dirty shop without any valuable goods. It was big mistake from Tui. I want to get money back!

We only stopped at one market as we were the only people in our group that wanted to go shopping this spoiled it for us as we felt under pressure at the shop and could look around properly. The others in the party just wanted to go to Rick’s cafe. We ended up spending nearly three hours there which was too long . Other than that good value for money

Absolutely loved the experience of Rick’s Cafe. Well worth a visit. Be sure to take plenty of money US dollars preferably as it’s not the cheapest. Cliff divers, Dj and dancers were fantastic. I would have happily missed out the craft market which we stopped at first and were told we had 30 mins inside. Once inside we were followed around and felt quite pressured to buy when looking at items. Last but certainly not least Kirk are driver was lovely very clear on times and pick up points.

Der 20min Stop im Giftshop ist unnötig. Bzgl Rick’s Café, bin ich zwiegespalten. Die Location ist recht schön auf einer Klippe gelegen. Allerdings auch ganz schön groß und somit nicht wirklich gemütlich. Nichts um einfach abzuhängen. Zudem ist die Musik die ganze Zeit recht laut. Soweit ist es noch ok. Anstrengend wird es , wenn nachmittags die Partyboote kommen. Dann hat das Ganze Ballermann Charakter, extrem laut, extrem voll. Für Partypeople ein Muss, für Normalos verzichtbar

I had expected more of a shopping experience than just being dropped of at one small shop and having half an hour there. Ricks cafe was a good atmosphere and we enjoyed our visit. The bus was air conditioned so was a comfortable journey.

It was great. Our driver Robert McKenzie was fantastic. He was very informative, patient (he didn’t rush anyone when shopping), and was always looking after us. The only downside is the short amount of time at the 2 shops we were taken to as it was only 15 minutes each time. We did extend the 15 minutes and Robert did not rush anyone but I think a lot more people would be interested in going to an area with more shops and have 1 hour there. The cafe was great.

This was a great way to travel to ricks cafe, and we couldn’t find cheaper alternative travel (licensed), for a family of 4. Driver was super relaxed and friendly. Spoke us through the history of each area we drove through. Spent 3hrs at ricks which is enough. Would deffo use again! No complaints!

We enjoyed the overall experience at Rick’s. Our driver/guide was excellent and looked after everyone well. You should be aware that male and female prostitution is evident at Rick’s and whilst they did not bother us, it did make us more wary and notably they have no obvious sanction from Rick’s.

Haben den Ausflug im Grunde nur als Taxifahrt zu Rick’s Café gebucht, da man günstiger dort nicht hinkommt. Das versprochene Shopping-Erlebnis mit ‘beeindruckendem Repertoire an Geschäften‘‚ ‘Kunsthandwerkermarkt‘ und das ganze im ‘eigenem Tempo‘ war dann ein einziger Gift-Shop (Rainbow Stores) mit sage und schreibe 10 Minuten Aufenthalt. Es ist niemand aus dem Bus ausgestiegen, das Gelächter darüber war amüsant. Das Café sehr lohnenswert, super Entertainment, coole Location, Preise akzeptabel.

The shopping part of the trip was poor. Just stopped at a gift warehouse. Very expensive and not what I expected from a shopping trip. Rick's Cafe is was the main reason for the trip, and it did not disappoint. Great vibes, good music and dance, reasonable priced good quality drinks. Would visit again if in the area.

Giving low score for terrible booking experience. We booked the bus to Ricks cafe for Sunday on the Tui app but when I checked with our rep for further details he said the trip was not available on Sundays so could not understand ho we had booked it. He rearranged it for Monday. We waited an hour for the bus but by that time the rep had arranged a private taxi transfer for us. We went to a local shop that we could have walked to but it did not interest us so we asked to go straight to Ricks.

We had a lovely day, we came from the grand Palladium so the journey is over an hour but we had plenty of time at Rick’s to cover that. Our driver, Kirk was a lovely guy. We had a great time at Rick’s and saw the high cliff dive twice. The lifeguards did a round for tips for the diver which I didn’t think was unreasonable. The cocktails were great, the staff were lovely and the toilets had an attendant so lovely and clean. Overall a good time and well worth the £10 round trip. £120 in all spent.

Response day after was “sorry, do you want to book again?” Unbelievable! Avoid at all costs, book with local operators who actually value you!

Shopping? Kann man nicht wirklich dazu sagen. Eher Touriabzocke! In einem Touriladen 20 min einkaufen und dann wieder los. Schade das es kein Markt war sondern nur 1 Geschäft. Wir hätten lieber eine bisschen mehr von der einheimischen Shopmeile gesehen und dafür auf 1Stunde Rick’s Cafe verzichtet. Dies ist jetzt nicht unbedingt die Attraktion, man war da ja aber… Und auch überteuert, Bier erst 6Dollar und eine Stunde später 7 Dollar

Our guide was very knowledgable and told us much about the island en route. The drive took just over an hour and we spent approx 30 mins shopping and 2/3 hours at Ricks cafe. Plenty of time for lunch, drinks and cliff jumping before watching an amazing sunset! Highly recommended- we couldn’t believe how cheap this was- definitely good value for money.

Rick's Café ist ein Ausflug wert. Preise sehr teuer, aber gut. Ist wahrscheinlich bei allen besonderen Punkten auf der Welt. Sonnenuntergang sehr hübsch. Die paar Buden zum Einkaufen braucht es nicht. Wertloser Kram, den es überall gibt.

The shopping wasn’t really necessary, just a look around a souvenir shop, but they weren’t pushy and didn’t push you to buy. Ricks cafe was a brilliant experience! When we first arrived we weren’t sure if it would be too long to sit and then we sat and just enjoyed the next two hours!! We could have stayed longer just watching the boats and the divers!! A really fun afternoon and would thoroughly recommend!!

Ricks Café lohnt sich leider nicht. Vor Ort darf man sein Wasser nicht reinnehmen, nur für 4 Dollar pro 0,3 l kaufen. Café ist überlaufen,Touristen werden wie von Land so auch vom Wasser reingebracht. Service nimmt nur teilweise die Bestellung auf , ein Teil der Reisenden muss nochmal 40 min aid seine Bestellung warten. Auf dem Weg zum Café , gab es zwei Stopps in Geschäften, unnötig. Abreise war um 18:45 Sonnenuntergang erst um 18:50, leider im Bus verpasst :(

Zuerst wird man in überteuerte Shops gebracht, wo einem bei den Preisen alle Haare aufstellt. Ricks Café. Man zahlt hier keinen Eintritt, jedoch Wasser, Bier und Cola sind teurer als in jedem normalen Restaurant. Das Swimmingpool ist aufgrund der milchigen Farbe nicht zu empfehlen. Einzig der Ausblick und das Klippen springen wäre eine Reise wert.

The ‘shop we visited with Lloyd was not a boutiqe and was better priced however watch for the so called 20% off as much of it didn't materialise! And there is tax on top. Ricks cafe was great. Atmosphere was great. Watched the divers jumping into the cove from the cliff top especially from the high board. Take dollars to tip the divers its worth it. Food and drink a bit pricey but it is not too bad and food is great. Lloyd our driver was pleasant and funny and looked after us for the journe

The trip was very good. However, we were disappointed on 2 counts. 1. The shopping was to only one outlet that was no cheaper than the hotel shop. 2. We left Ricks Cafe at 6pm which was over 45minutes before the sunset.

There was no shopping at a craft market. We were dropped at one shop for 10 minutes whilst the driver went to pick up another guest. We then went straight to Ricks Cafe for three hours. We had to leave before the sun set which was the bit we were looking forward to the most

Robert McKenzie was our guide, he was very informative on the way to ricks cafe, pointing out different attractions, hotels and gatherings. Gave clear instructions on when and where to find him outside of ricks cafe for our journey back to the hotel :) Enjoyed both shops, in particular I liked that everything was already priced and there was no need for haggling. Souvenirs were also well priced :)

De chauffeur kwam een half uur te laat. De shops hebben wij nooit gezien...hij haalde ons op en daarna haalde hij de rest van de groep op bij volgens mij 1 winkel. Wij hebben dus niet mogen shoppen. Daarna meteen door naar Rick's café .. daar was het leuk! Dus kort samengevat...betaald voor 2 dingen, gedaan 1 ding....

Voor 14 dollar hoef je niet veel te verwachten maar shopping is veel overdreven. Onderweg 1stop gemaakt bij een shop onderweg daarna racen door Negril heen naar Rick’s. Hier slechts 2 winkeltjes. Leuk om (zelf) te diven. Hier heel erg druk met gasten vanuit de catamarans, leuk om te zien. Daarna 2,5 uur wachten. Keiharde muziek op terras maar gelukkig een rustig plekje rechts op het grote terras gevonden en van de ondergaande zon genoten. Ook nog dolfijnen gezien.

Da TUI uns eine falsche Abholzeit genannt hat, war der Bus, der uns am Hotel abholen sollte bereits weg. Wir haben 2 Std gewartet, bis der Fahrer uns endlich am Hotel abgeholt hat. Den Craftmarket konnten wir deshalb leider nicht mehr besuchen und wir wurden direkt zu Ricks Cafe gebracht. Wir empfehlen jedem, der diese Tour bucht, sich die Abholzeit bei TUI bestätigen zu lassen. Eine Erstattung oder eine Entschuldigung von TUI gab es nicht, dafür sind wir von dem Busteam wüst beschimpft worden.

The shopping was massively overpriced. Rics bar was amazing! Plenty of time there to enjoy the atmosphere, watch the cliff jumping, take part, have a drink and enjoy the sun set. We would 100% go to Rics again should be go to Jamaica ????.

Great vibes at Rick’s cafe. A fun way to spend a couple of hours. Shopping was ok bought some souvenirs but felt sorry for the 2nd venue as we did our shopping at first store. Maybe one shopping stop would be better.

Our Driver Robert was lovely, friendly and gave us some local information as way drive to Ricks. We had visited Ricks by boat before so knew what to expect and really enjoyed it again. The 2 craft shops were ok.

Ricks cafe sollte man gesehen haben,muss aber wissen es ist sehr laut und alles sehr teuer,und es gibt keinen Kaffee:) Das Geschäft zum Einkaufen war für uns uninteressant das es überteuert und auf Touristen ausgelegt ist Vor Ricks Café in der Straße sind viele kleine Buden von den Einheimischen die sich freuen wenn sie was verkaufen- und Angst muss man da nicht haben - alle sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam

Das shopping-center hätte man weglassen können, es gab den üblichen Touristenschrott zu überteuerten Preisen. Aber Ricks Cafe ist wirklich ein Erlebnis, muß man auf Jamaika gesehen haben. Die Getränke sind teuer, aber das ist in den deutschen "in-Lokalen" nicht anders. Die Stimmung ist super und der Sonnenuntergang wunderschön.

It was well worth the small price tag. O’Neill was a really cool tour guide.. Ricks cafe is unlike anywhere we’ve ever been. The vibe the views and the dive!! A definite must!!

Ricks Cafe war sehr schön. Gute Stimmung. Den Besuch im Shopping Geschäft könnte man sich sparen. Trotz Rabatt viel zu teuer. Es hat fast keiner etwas gekauft.

Ricks Cafe was fantastic and so was the sunset. The shopping was just ok, not a craft market. Just a shop with inflated prices, then they pretend you are getting things at half price. Strange, but happy with what I bought.
