What to expect
No man is an island, but Lanzarote is an island that owes a lot to one man. The legacy of artist and architect Cesar Manrique is everywhere. On this land and sea tour, you'll visit LagOmar, the Cactus Garden – one of Manrique's emblematic creations – and the small volcanic island of La Graciosa.Manrique's buildings and sculptures dot the island, and it's thanks to him that there are no high-rises. LagOmar, once owned by Omar Sharif, is a complex designed to evoke the Arabian Nights tales, though it also has the air of a Bond villain lair. It also features a cave-bar, a restaurant, apartments and a museum.Next, you'll visit the Cactus Garden, where Manrique landscaped more than 7,000 cactuses of all shapes and sizes. Then, hop on a boat and sail to La Graciosa, a volcanic island surrounded by Europe's largest marine reserve. Afterwards, you'll enjoy lunch and some free time on its virgin beaches.

Die Zusammenstellung der Tour war sehr gut, das einzig störende waren die vielen Pick up/drop of Stops in playa blanca, Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife und Vodafone teguise.

Intressanta sevärdheter, men nästintill obefintlig guidning på Lag Omar och Kaktusparken. För den som inte kände till Cesar Manriques avgörande betydelse för Lanzarotes arkitektur m m så gav denna tur ingen information om honom. Guiden presenterade inte sig själv och de två första stoppen var väldigt forcerade. Information på tre språk i kulsprutetakt är inte heller ett lyckat koncept. Guiden såg däremot efter gruppen och var mån om att alla var på plats och att vi var ok på färjan.

Enjoyed the cactus garden lagomar and ferry to la graciosa very much. Did not enjoy the lunch as no choice and do not like seafood paella. We were not told this when booking . Also tour was 10 hours long picking up and dropping off people. Would have been nice to have more information about all of this when booking

Die Tour-Guide war sehr burschikos. Auch wenn man in 3 Sprachen erklärt, kann freundlicher erklärt werden. Mittagessen auf dem Schiff: es hat den Charme einer Klassenfahrt mit Plastikbechern. Gesamteindruck: Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und Zusammenstellung der Programmpunkte erfüllte unsere Erwartungen, die Qualität des Mittagessen war o.k. Der Ausflug auf die Insel hat sich gelohnt, wir haben 1 Stunde am schönen Strand verbracht.

Horaires respectés, néanmoins on perd toujours du temps, prise en charge des personnes dans différents lieux, hôtels, groupes linguistiques différents également, et retours idem. Excursion intéressante, mais peu de temps de visite... C'est souvent le cas. Notamment au jardin des Cactus, il fallait repartir pour se rendre au port pour la traversée vers l'île de La Graciosa. Dépaysement là, pas grand chose à voir, un peu déçue, pas retrouvé l'empreinte de C.Manrique, guide Rachel super ????

LagOmar et les cactus ok Île Graciosa : pas grand chose à voir ni à faire Prix trop élevé du coup pour ce qu’il y avait à faire. On nous avait dit qu’il n’y avait pas de voiture sur l’île et qu’il y avait des sortes de petites piscines de lave où se baigner ….rien de tout ça ! Très bon repas et personnel très aimable

Enjoyed the morning visiting the two places. Trip on boat was fab. Lunch was very organised but no option for vegetarians. Our guide Rachel was fab on the way. Coming back she swapped with someone else. There were two trips merging on the pavement. The guide didn’t seem to know what bus anyone was on. It was total chaos! Then we got dropped off in the town when we had been picked up from the hotel. So a very hot tired walk back. So some great - some chaos.

Die Fahrt zur Insel hätte man sich sparen können. Vor allem das Mittagessen sollte vorher bekannt gegeben werden. Paella ist nicht für jeden was. Meine Tochter und ich haben nur den Reis gegessen und die Meeresfrüchte aussortieren. Knochensplitter vom Hähnchen waren auch im Reis zu finden. Ob die von uns nicht gegessen Muscheln etc. weggeworfen worden sind , weiß ich nicht. Wir haben nur mitbekommen, das viele die Meeresfrüchte nicht gegessen haben.

J'ai aimé le circuit, la découverte de La Graciosa, la maison de Omar Sharif, le jardin des cactus sans oublier l'excellente paëlla. J'ai moins aimé le circuit de ramassage des participants au moins 5 ou 6 points différents et des participants de 3 nationalités différentes ce qui implique des commentaires long en 3 langues différents.

Le départ ce fait à 8 h 40 mais nous allons remasser bcp de client de différentes hôtel c'est très long ... ce n est pas dit à la réservation... 3 langues différentes dans le car très fatiguant. Cependant les visites sont très sympa Logomar , jardin des cactus ?? et l ile de la graciosa la paella est très ********** et assiette copieuse... par contre il y a rien à faire sur l.ile c'est un peu long le temps que l'on reste sur cette l'île

Belle prestation de la guide qui maîtrise son sujet Les visites de lagomar et du jardin des cactus sont à recommander Attention aux personnes sensibles la traversée sur le ferry menant à l’île de graciosa est mouvementée cela bouge beaucoup au départ ! I think it was a well balanced day. Some people did talk over the guide on the coach which made it hard for her to translate into 3 languages. Think there should a notice to make clear this is not helpful.

Not warned about the amount/type of steps in Omar Sherif’s hse. The rep 1st coach unaware we were English even though we’d spoken English to him! The 2nd rep a lovely lady spoke good English. The cactus garden very good not enough time. Lunch on boat basic, paella too many bones. We didn’t find Island people friendly. Told lots of little shops There isn’t! Everyone back at boat early. We have had much better trips for the money.

Schöne, erlebnisreiche Fahrt mit vielen Informationen der Reiseleiterin. Leider wenig Zeit im Kaktus-Garten. Schifffahrt war wackelig ;o), lag aber am stürmischen Wind. Essen auf dem Schiff war okay, aber es gab nur Paella, nicht gut für diejenigen, die keine Garnelen mögen.

The lunch that was provided was not very edible ,the salad starter had been made hours before, and it was a very warm salad, it was followed by a chicken pialia, my husband does not eat chicken, it was served as a pile of rice and chicken, if you left your banana on the table it was swiftly removed, it would be better not to provide a meal. the rest of the trip was excellent.

Unser weiblicher Guide war sehr nett und entspannt und hat auch alles auf Deutsch erklärt, obwohl wir nur 3 Deutsche waren. Der Aufenthalt in Lagomar hätte länger sein können, der auf La Graciosa etwas kürzer. Aber das ist Geschmackssache. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Tour.

We both loved the stops, Lacomar was great for me, my husband knew he wouldn't manage the steps, but saw the pics. The sea trip was what he was looking forward to and it was all we hoped for and more. The collection and drop off were again far away for a man on crutches from Ficus all the other hotels had drop offs outside.

The Shariff house is difficult for those with mobility issues, so I guess this could be emphasised. For ourselves we had a great day, though we were lucky by staying in Costa Teguise as the travel time was far less than those staying in Costa Blanca.

Good amount of time at the places we visited, with plenty of restroom stops. The only recommendation is to change the language order as English was always last which meant we always had the least time to explore. Our guide Raquel (Rachel) and driver Augustine were both very friendly and professional. We really enjoyed all the places we visited, especially the work of Cesar Manrique. Very beautiful island which we could explore thanks to this tour. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

The visit to Lag-o-mar was up first, and that was a worthwhile visit, very interesting and informative. (This was aprox a 50 minute visit) Next up was a cactus garden, we just simply had a quick look around on the way to the cafe area which was there, we had a cup of tea, then made our way back to the coach and waited to continue. (This was about 45 mins) La Graciosa was a little disappointing, not much to see or do. Weather not good enough to stay on beach too, not helping. Was on island 2 hrs.

Insgesamt eine schöne Reise mit toller Bootsfahrt. Der Kaktusgarten war ein tolles Erlebnis, das Übersetzen nach La Graciosa ebenso. Einziger Minuspunkt: Es gab keine Abfrage bezüglich dem Essen, so wurde eine Fisch-/Meeresfrüchtepaella serviert. Für mich als Allergiker, der im Vorfeld gefragt hat nicht so **********. Die Reiseleiterin hat viel erzählt und mit umfassendem Wissen geglänzt.

We went to LaGomar which was interesting although lots of steps. Then onto. Cactus ?? garden with cacti from all over the world which was fascinating. Then onto La Graciosa island and had paella (very tasty). Tried Honey Rum which was really nice (Don't usually drink alcohol especially Rum) Time to explore the island and walked to one of the beaches. Great guide

Det omtalade kristall klara vattnet vid ön var fullt av skräp o bråte , gick inte att bada där . Länge bort var stranden full av rev o berg så där gick inte heller att bada . Ganska tråkigt att vänta i 2 timmar på färjan, tyvärr. Annars var turen väldigt intressant.

Mooie dingen te zien gekregen, het bezoek aan la graciosa vonden we zeker de moeite waard, gewoon genieten van het uitzicht, even rondwandelen, even tot rust komen, we hebben de twee uur vrije tijd makkelijk opgevuld gekregen

I don't think you can improve what this package has. Perhaps some advanced notification for those who are infirm as access to some areas was difficult particularly the house.
