What to expect
A journey to Iceland wouldn't be complete without seeing one of nature's greatest phenomenons – the Northern Lights. While there's no guarantee you'll see them, you can give yourself the best odds by escaping the street lamps of Reykjavík on a nighttime coach trip. Once we've hit clear and starry skies, there's a great chance of catching the lights as they illuminate above.

We were taken to a golf course, with a lot of artificial lighting in front of us, so how are you going to see the northern lights? There was no methodology of how we were going to see the lights, no camera, laptop, meteorological information, other than if we don’t see the lights, we will leave by 11.30/ 12.00

Excellent
Our original booking was cancelled due to cloud , so we went the following evening which was hard on us as we'd been out all day on another excursion. I think this is done quite regularly as they had a large coach to fill. When we got there if was very cold and icy, we were unable to see the lights with the naked eye but could through a camera lens, glad we went.
