What to expect
Discover the Silfra Fissure, one of Iceland's most desirable snorkeling spots. The blue waters in this narrow channel meander from the Langjökull Glacier through giant lava fields and into Thingvellir, where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates are slowly separating. Witness supernatural shades of blue, perfect visibility and incredible rock formations.From the comfort of a warmly insulated drysuit, enjoy the feeling of ultimate serenity and weightlessness as you drift peacefully along with the lazy current, awe-stricken at the spectacle in the depths below! Frequently rated as one of the world's top ten dive sites, the Silfra offers up to 150 meters of underwater visibility.

Know in advance:
Tour difficulty: 3/5 - Moderate
Weight limit: 45-120 kg. Height limit: 150-200 cm
The minimum age for participation is 12 years
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian booked on the same tour
Please note that it is important to be able to understand and communicate in English to participate in the tour
Before the tour, participants have to sign a waiver stating that they realize that all outdoor activities carry an inherent risk
The snorkeling handbook has important information regarding your safe participation, you'll find the link in the voucher after booking
Participants need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim. You are unable to participate if you are pregnant, due to the small risk of cold water entering the suit
Remember to bring:
Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good hiking shoes are recommended
