Meeting point:
The office is close to San Marco Square. Having the Basilica of San Marco behind you, stay on the right side of the square and go under the arches. Find the Olivetti Museum, turn right passing under the archways, cross the little bridge and go straight on, towards "Campo San Gallo". Venice Tours Office is in the square San Marco, 1093/B. Please be at the meeting point 5 minutes before the departure time.

Gids was gefrustreerd over het verleden en het heden van Venetië. Hij is hier blijkbaar opgegroeid en kan niet tegen het massa toerisme. Hij heeft veel verteld over zijn jeugd en weinig over de bezienswaardigheden. Enkel San Marco plein, campo S Maria en de rialto brug gezien.

Our tour guide was pleasant throughout. Very knowledgeable and we gained a greater insight as to the history of Venice. Tour stops were interesting and offered plenty of photo opportunities. Good slow pace to cater for all. Well worth it.

The tour started with a 3D experience, which was an interesting way to see how Venice developed. The walking tour was very interesting and we visited areas that were different, which was fantastic.

La guida è molto brava, preparata ed empatica. Ci ha portato anche in zone meno conosciute e ci ha raccontato particolari molto interessanti sia storici ma anche culturali. Forse c'è un po' poco tempo per soffermarsi lungo il tragitto che si percorre a ritmo piuttosto rrato. Però bellissimo. Bravi!

Sur le fond quelques éléments historiques intéressants.

Es war alles sehr gut organisiert. Leider war uns bei der Ankunft am Flughafen vor Venedig nicht bewusst, wie der Transfer nach Venedig weiter erfolgen soll. Hier ist eine bessere Auskunft im Vorfeld zu empfehlen. Ansonsten hat alles super geklappt.

Unser Guide war sehr nett, kompetent und bemüht. Wir hatte eine deutsche Tour gebucht und bezahlt. Unser Guide hat sich dann sehr auf Italienisch und Englisch bemüht - Deutsch konnte er aber nicht. Das ist aber ein Problem der Organisation, nicht des Guid vor Ort. Die Tour hat Spaß gemacht.
