What to expect

Enjoy a paragliding experience above Ohrid Lake and admire the mountain and lake views! You’ll be picked up from your hotel in central Ohrid and reach the take-off place. After a short briefing, you’ll start your 15-minute flight. During the flight, the instructor will explain to you how paragliders fly and, if the weather conditions are good, you may have the chance to control the glider yourself. At the end of the flight, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel.

Het ophalen zelf is even omschakelen want je zit, in mijn geval, als enige vrouw ineens in een jeep vol met mannen die je niet kent; 2 instructeurs voor het springen en een chauffeur die de jeep terug naar beneden rijdt terwijl jij vliegt. In mijn geval was mijn instructeur Sasho, echt een ontzettend lieve man die veel uitlegt en je op je gemak stelt. Tijdens het vliegen merk je ook dat ie veel ervaring heeft. De vlucht zelf is echt geweldig en ik vond het zelfs zo leuk dat ik morgen weer ga!!

We had a contact person from the company message us the day before and also arrange for a pick up time the next morning. The schedule changed, but we were kept informed and was given an option to choose time. The trip to the top of the mountain was an marvellous event on its own and the actually paragliding experience was sublime. Overall, mt expectations were exceeded.
