The village of Lyn was nice but involves walking up steep hills about which we were not informed by the guide. At least 2 elderly people were struggling. They need to be warned and given the option to stay in the lower part of the village. There was little of interest to see on the walking tour of Podrega

The tour was really interesting, in general. It is not, however, suitable for people with disabilities and I felt really sorry for a woman on the trip who was unable to do most of the activities. People need to be told that there is a considerable amount of climbing involved.

The driver was very good. Guide was not very professional, he insulted albadian people and their culture was not appropriate on an albanian visit tour. He decided that we wouldn't spend time in the Albanian city because it was raining but we have been told that we would get an hour's stop. We did not stop on the way back at the Bay of bones. Is it cold? What was also included in the trip? He told us information what was not historically correct as part of the tour. Overall very disappointed .

It was a really good day trip. Getting through passport control to Albania took about 45 minutes, but once through we saw lots of interesting things. For lunch time you're asked if you'd like a reservation at a hotel restaurant where the coach parks outside. I decided to go with a couple of others, but we walked out after 25 minutes as the service was so bad. Our tour guide was fantastic and did a great job in looking after us. The driver also great taking on the challenge of difficult roads.

I didn’t understand the purpose of the experience. We visited a nothing special village and walked up to a view point and visited a nothing special town was shown a basically clothing market and then encouraged to have lunch in another nothing special hotel. We did stop off to see 2 concrete bunkers, well the tops of them anyway. For me it was an extremely underwhelming trip and it wasn’t complimentary to Albanian. If this experience stays on the agenda please introduce some interesting sites.

The bus picked up from many hotels often some way from the main road but we were expected to walk from our hotel to a restaurant some 5/600m most of which was on a busy carriageway, we did feel unsafe for a while. Crazy reasoning as Bellvue has huge area for coaches in front of reception. Guides & whole trip otherwise were great ??

Vesna, our tour guide was exceptional in resolving the unfortunate issues our tour had with the coach air-con. Our first stop in Lin was fabulous. Very interesting. Next stop was Pogradek. It would have been better to have free time here rather than almost 2 hrs in a restaurant for lunch, then a walk to a market whhch was closed when we got there. This felt like a completely wasted afternoon with no.opportunity to really see anything. Pogradek should be made 'free tme'

Water was pouring out over the driver from the air conditioning, and on some of us, the driver drove for about 30 mins before swapping the coach which I thought was extremely dangerous and the coach we swapped onto looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks, was very disappointed was not worth the £66 for both of us

Visit to the traditional village Lin was great. 2nd stop at the city, not so great. Walked to a market that was a second hand run down market. The city had no history, just a typical city with shops and bars. Needed to see more traditional Albania.

Not a great deal to see. The city was just a city that looked run down. The old rural village was as to be expected The guide was good at filling in the historical aspects. The food was very nice. We are glad we went just for a look round but we wouldn't go twice.

I thought it was a great package. The first stop for coffee in the hotel was really nice. The market was a little underwhelming in terms of purchases but it was interesting to see. Lunch was first rate and the journey was really interesting. Much better value than the TUI boat trip to St Nuam.

Leuke trip om te doen als je in Macedonië bent, je wordt opgehaald en weer terug gebracht van je vakantie **********. Reisleidster die ons begeleide, vertelde ons heel veel informatie over het land en de bezichtigingen. Albanië gaf ons als stel een goede algemene positieve indruk, afgezien daarvan dat wij natuurlijk alleen maar een rondje om het Ohrid meer hebben gemaakt.

Having booked through the APP the collection time and location were incorrect. This was something we checked ourselves with the tour operator for confirmation. Air conditioning on the coach wasn't the best. At the first stop in Pogradec the generally feeling was that some people would have been happier to be told a time to be back at the coach and allowed the wonder the town in their own time rather than be guided into a hotel for a coffee.

Albanië is oud en mooi. Jammer genoeg werd er door de gids weinig getoond. In de bus werd er wat verteld over de geschiedenis. Bij de eerste stop werden we een lange straat doorgeleid, er werd kort wat verteld, op het eind van de straat waren we vrij. We hebben zelf een amfitheater, rozentuin met beelden ontdekt. De maaltijd: vis was lekker, kip viel tegen, vlees ok. In het laatste oude stadje moesten we ook zelf alles ontdekken zoals een oud klooster op de berg.

This was a rather disappointing experience. The majority of the time spent on a coach with lengthy wait at passport control. The market experience was a waste of time where only cheap fake clothes and white goods were sold. The lunch , coffee stop and village of Lin were good but other than a coach trip around the Lake it didn't really sell Albania which looked stunning in places we didn't stop.

You get a drive all around the lake with information provided by a guide. Visited both a city centre with a market like you'd find anywhere in modern Europe & small pretty village, as well as a tasty three course meal. Tour staff professional & engaging. Some waiting at border control due to traffic, obviously beyond tour control. Take a book! Great scenery on the drive & worth it to me to say I have been to authentic 21st century Albania. If you want old fashioned, this tour won't help much.

The trip was very good, the guide was excellent. It was great to visit Albania and clearly see that it’s going to be an up and coming tourist destination in the future. It sits on a beautiful lake and they have made the most of the pebbly beach providing sun beds and some eateries available. It took a while to get back through passport control on our way back but that is beyond TUI’s control. One person didn’t bring their passport and had to leave the trip at the border!

We enjoyed the tour but felt quite a bit of time was wasted. First stop was a coffee stop which lasted an hour. We hung around waiting for everyone as we thought there would be a guided tour of the area. Instead we were pointed in the direction of a market which we could have found if the guide had advised direction when we arrived. Second stop was for lunch, food and service was great but again took over an hour. Enjoyed last visit to traditional village finally learnt a little of the culture.

Very limited to no air con on the bus - ridiculous! Good driver and friendly guides. No fault of anyone but the excursion had very little to offer apart from a drive around the lake. No 'attractions' as such. Lunch basic but fine considering price paid. Everything went according to time. Glad I went as ticked it off the list, but overall would not recommend as was rather an anti climatic day out.

It was a long wait at Border crossings - appreciate that’s out of TUIs hands. First stop was a bunker. Next stop at “bazaar” which was just stalls with fake goods - nothing traditional or vaguely interesting. Lunch was nice enough. Last stop at Linn a bit rushed and not much info given on history. The tour guide was excellent and taught us so much about the history of Albania. He took great care of our group. The driver was also great and drove safely and carefully. The 3 course lunch was tasty and filling. It would have been nice to find some traditional gifts/crafts in the market.

An interesting day. Knowledgable and friendly guide with a great driver who got us through the border without waiting in the long queue! Comfortable bus. Time to do what we wanted. Enough comfort stops. A three course lunch included in the cost making it excellent value. Highly recommended.

Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. Pogradec was an nice town to visit, and having some time to have a look at the market was good fun. The lunch was great - the Ohrid Trout was delicious, and it was great that there was alternative choices of chicken/beef for those that didn't eat fish - my daughter loved the beef. Albanian wine was delicious but pricey! Visiting Lin was lovely - a lvery different view of Albania.

My husband was very keen to do this trip as he thought Albania would be so different to North Macedonia. But the bits we saw were really very similar. It’s obviously great for Albania that it’s reconstructing and developing a tourist industry. But this tour spent most of our time sitting in a lakeside hotel which could have been anywhere, then ages sitting indoors having an admittedly nice lunch. Then ages at a border crossing. Communication re pick-up etc terrible, no response when I messaged.

The guide was very warm and welcoming, he came across very knowledgeable and open to questions. There was a mix up with the original day that I booked as apparently this was Dutch speaking only not English as advertised on the online booking, fortunately we were able to be on the English speaking tour for another day. There was a reluctance to pick us up from our accommodation as advertised on booking but this was sorted by the night before and all went well ??

We had the best lunch of our holiday. Two of us really enjoyed fish, which was better in Albania. We also enjoyed the visit to the village of Li. It would be better to have more time and visit the ruins of the basilica on the hill there. After a short guided tour of Pogradec, we had plenty of free time to explore for ourselves and there was lots of local character and plenty interesting monuments and buildings to see. An on line booking error over dates had to be fixed by the resort TUI rep.

De trip viel ons erg tegen omdat we- in ons optiek- niets bijzonders hebben gezien. Wellicht is een excursie aanbieden naar Tirana een stuk interessanter. Dit hebben wij ervaren als “ een rondje rond het meer rijden “ . Veel geld voor weinig bijzonders.

The actual tour and guide were brilliant but the connotations really need to get their ********** together on a customer service point of view. On arrival in Ohrid we were informed the Monday trup was not running. Our only option was Saturday, the day after we had booked Skopje which was a ********** long day. The company refused a refund or exchange. We were ********** knackered. Not impressed with them at all ??????
