Do this because
You'll see how honey is sustainably made during a tour of an apiary
There's an opportunity to learn how the mountain environment affects the taste of the honey
The guided tasting lets you sample the apiary's distinctive, high‑altitude honey
What to expect
Whether you like it spread on toast, mixed into your cup of tea, or drizzled on your ice-cream, honey has plenty of admirers. And today, you'll see how its sustainably sourced in Andorra during a visit to a mountain apiary (AKA a place where beehives are kept). Follow the owner of the apiary around and see every step of the honey-making process, and learn why the honey here tastes so different – spoiler alert, it's the altitude.
