What to expect
This VIP tour is big on sightseeing. You'll discover the rock formations of Ponta da Piedade and enjoy a guided tour of Lagos. Rounding off the experience is Cape St Vincent – the Algarve's most westerly point. Tiago, one of our expert local guides, says "the Algarve area of Portugal has two main draws – its coastline and its sightseeing scene. Most people fall for the beaches, which is understandable given how gorgeous they are, but there are loads of cultural hotspots we'll show you on this tour. During our stop in Lagos, for example, you'll learn about the region's darker side at what used to be one of Europe's first slave markets.” Your tour kicks off at Ponta da Piedade for a photo opportunity of the Algarve's unique coastal rock formations. You'll see the arches and pillars – some of which have nicknames like ‘the elephant' and ‘the cathedral' – which have been sculpted over thousands of years by coastal erosion.Next up is Lagos. You'll kick things off here with a guided walking tour that takes in Praça do Infante, where you'll see Henry the Navigator's statue and learn about his exploration of the African coast. You'll also visit the Church of St Antonio (entry fee not included) and have some free time for lunch, shopping or exploring. Last but not least, you can snap a few selfies at Cape St Vincent. Also known as the ‘end of the world', it's the south-westernmost point in Europe.

Vasco war ein sehr zuvorkommender, gut gelaunter Guide,der uns mit vielen Informationen und tollen portugiesischen Tips versorgt hat,war einfach klasse mit ihm und wir hatten überall genügend zeit zum gucken,wo er vorab selber uns noch viel erklärt hat, war immer bemüht, dass wir alles kennenlernen.

Alles in allem hat uns die Tour gut gefallen, der deutschsprachigen Guid war gut. Man hat Zeit für sich in Lagos. Die Tour, wie auch andere angebotene Tour, fanden wir etwas überteuert.

Vasco als Tourguide war wirklich klasse, Pausen wurden individuell angepasst, viele Insidertipps und ein großes Wissen über Geschichte, Land und Leute wurde vermittelt. Jederzeit wieder gerne mit Vasco, wir haben uns im Auto sicher gefühlt.

Fantastische trip over de westkant van de oostkust, tot het einde van de wereld. Helaas hadden wij veel regen. Maar dat mocht de pret niet bederven. Graag hadden wij wel iets meer tijd gehad om het mooie lagos te verkennen, de tijd vloog voorbij

Uns wäre lieber gewesen, mehr Zeit beim 1. Stop, bei den Felsen. Beim 3. Stop Lagos hätte es weniger Teit sein können. Für den Preis was wir bezahlt haben, hätte eine kleine Mahlzeit dabei sein können oder einfach vom Preis her den Ausflug günstiger. Es war Nebensaison!!

Es war eine tolle Tour. Tom - Fahrer und Reiseleiter war super, hat sehr viel erzählt, viel erklärt, nicht nur die Gegend. Er hat uns Zeit gelassen, die wunderschönen Eindrücke auch zu genießen. Wir waren voll zufrieden.

Die Fahrt selbst war landschaftlich sehr reizvoll und schön. Wir haben viel gesehen und atemberaubende Natur gesehen. Wir hatten uns bewusst für einen Kleinbus entschieden, waren aber enttäuscht, dass uns sehr wenig zu Portugal und den Sehenswürdigkeiten erzählt wurde. Um etwas zu erfahren, mussten wir nachfragen. Auch hatten wir in Lagos 2,5 Stunden Aufenthalt ohne Hinweis aus Sehenswertes. Dadurch wurde die eigentlich schöne Fahrt für uns zu keinem erhofften Erlebnis. Schade.

Der Guide (ein Holländer - Tom) war super nett und gesprächig. Hat uns viel erzählt. War sehr lustig und hat uns ein paar Ecken und Orte gezeigt, die man mit dem Großbus nicht gesehen hätte. Außerdem waren wir vor den Großbussen an den Klippen und es war daher noch nicht von Menschenmassen überlaufen. Insgesamt ein toller Ausflug. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

Sehr gute Tour mit 7 Personen. Der Fahrer Tom ist sehr lustig und hat uns alles super erklärt. Die Tour hat privaten Charakter und lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Würde 5Sterne geben!!!!!!

It's a long walk to the boardwalk and a lot of steps. One of our fellow passengers couldn't make it. We should be informed of this at the time of booking. Overall a good trip.

We were told the minibus would involve less walking than the large coach but this was not so, at the first stop it parked a long walk from the point of interest which my husband could not go to because of mobility issues.

Die Stopps an der Küste mit Blick über das Meer waren traumhaft. Lagos hat und nicht so gut gefallen, da es nur Souvenirsläden oder Imbisse gab. Dafür waren 3h Aufenthalt zu lang. Peter war ein toller Guid und hat uns die schönsten Aussichtspunkte der Algarve gezeigt.

Gut gefallen: Der Fahrer konnte auch sehr gut deutsch. Er hat viel Erklärt und jede Frage beantwortet. Wenn wir als Gäste einen Wunsch hatten auszusteigen um etwas zu besichtigen, dann hat er dies möglich gemacht, obwohl es gar nicht vorgesehen war. Ein sehr netter Fahrer. Nicht gefallen: Es hätte bei diesem Preis gern ein Essen oder Getränk mit enthalten sein können.

Ein sehr netter TourGuide und guter Fahrer, als ehemaliger Niederländer mit sehr guten Deutschkenntnissen. Brachte der Gruppe auch das Leben in Portugal aus privater Perspektive näher. An den einzelnen Hotspots stand genug Zeit zur Verfügung!

The trip itself was wonderful, the places were very pleasant and somewhat beautiful The guided tour was not was not a guided tour at all, we paid €180.00 or so euros for a glorified taxi driver in an old minibus Not what was shown by our TUI Rep Really enjoyed the places that we went to Disappointed with what was supposed to be a tour guide The information would have been easier to find on Google and to travel by taxi
