What to expect
Adrenaline-fuelled adventure is the name of the game on this thrilling session. Carve through warm, azure Atlantic waters on your awesomely powerful jet-propelled craft -on what can be either a 30-minute, one or two-hour session.The waters off Sal are tailor-made for water sports – they're beautifully clean and warm. You'll charge down Santa Maria's gorgeous coastline, spewing up a stream of water in your wake. It was fantastic! We’re so glad we did the 1 hour jet skiing experience. We did a 30 min guided tour around the bottom of the island and then had a 30 minute play near to base. 2 of us shared the ski and we kept swapping round.

Leuke trip, eerste half uur mag je even vrij varen en bekend worden met de jetski (handig als je nog nooit hebt gevaren met een jetski). Hierna leuke tour gemaakt en als bonus nog dolfijnen gespot. Absolute aanrader.

Man hat die Wahl, eine halbe Stunde hinter dem Guide herzufahren oder im Meer frei zu fahren. Der Guide ist die komplette Zeit Vollgas gefahren, was mitunter für Nicht-Geübte schwierig ist. Er orientiert sich aber an seinem direkten Nachfahrer. Wir waren nur zu zweit, sodass der Guide nur mich gesehen hat, da ich direkt hinter ihm war. Der 2. Mitfahrer war ängstlicher als ich und kam stellenweise nicht gut hinterher.

Paid for an hour. First half hour was a tour up to Melia dunas area from Santa Maria. Then second half hour was me playing around. They knew where I was but unsure how much they kept an eye on me but was nice to be given a bit of free reign. Great fun!!

Tour hat stattgefunden, trotz sehr starken Wellengang aber zeitlich um die Hälfte gekürzt, dieses sollte ersetzt werden. Das ist leider bisher nicht erfolgt.

As beginners it was a brilliant experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and glad we went out of our comfort zone and took to the water. All the staff at the jet ski centre were very informative and the guide was superb. Glad we did this experience before we saw a shark 5-6ft the following day in very shallow waters near the rocks between our hotel at Melia Dunas and Santa Maria!! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to conquer their fear!!

Als wij aangeven dat we voor de eerste keer op een jet ski zitten is het fijn als er ook word uitgelegd hoe wij een jet ski onder controle houden, in plaats van alleen maar te schreeuwen dat we rustig moeten blijven.

Geniales Erlebnis! Unbedingt die 2 Stunden Tour buchen. Dann ist auch der Besuch des Fischerdorfes und Schnorcheln dabei. Ich hatte einen privaten Guide, weil alle anderen die 1 Stunden Tour gebucht hatten. Die ersten 20 min brauchte ich um den Jet-Ski kennenzulernen, danach hat es richtig Spaß gemacht. Der Guide und das Team waren klasse und sind perfekt auf mich eingegangen. Denkt unbedingt an wasserfeste Sonnencreme (auch an den Füßen!) und lange UV-Kleidung und Kopfbedeckung.

Es war ein sehr tolles Erlebnis mit viel Adrenalin. Unser Guide war auch super. Wir hatten 1h, davon sind wir 15mim zu einer Stelle gefahren, bei der wir dann 30min frei fahren durften und dann sind wir wieder zurückgefahren.

Très belle matinée en jet ski, avec un accueil en français / anglais, ainsi qu’un moniteur qui parlait français et nous a bien expliqué les consignes de sécurité. Juste l’arrêt: il n’y avait pas beaucoup de poissons à voir. Merci pour le masques et l’eau à bord du Jetski. Prise en charge à l’hôtel et retour ok dans le timing.

A lovely friendly French couple made us feel very welcome and we were given freedom to do our own ride which was great fun, especially when we saw flying fish. The only downside was the pick up back to the hotel. Although we arrived at 11.20am (the allocated time) the bus had already left without us. We were told the next one was at midday so another wait but it turned up at 12.30pm and we were getting a bit anxious by this time as we weren't even sure where the pick up point was. Good overall.

Going out was great and also enjoyed having free time to just have a go without having to follow someone. On way back was taken out too far into choppy water and expected to keep up at top speeds. Other couple stopped to be sick. Had bruises on legs from the bumpy ride. This part ruined the good first part of the tour. The owner of shop was rude when we asked if photos are taken on this excursion (as other TUI had previously) he said he wasn’t there for photos n has a shop to keep open.

Mein Sohn und ich hatten sehr viel Spaß. Wir sind zum ersten Mal Jetski gefahren, es wurde alles sehr gut erklärt und der Guide war die ganze Zeit in der Nähe um zu helfen. Die Ausrüstung war neuwertig und komplett in Ordnung.

Bangelijk! Zelf contact genomen een dag op voorhand om toch bij te boeken en geen seconde spijt. Van het eerste moment: - heel professioneel - alles super duidelijk tot zelf meerdere malen herhalen van gevaren en werking. - huiselijke sfeer in meerdere talen. Echte aanrader voor ieder wat wils met meerdere opties en een correcte prijs. De grote toer is echt wel tof. Plezier, fun, no stress à la cabo verde style ??

positief . De aanbeveling dat we beter met 2 x 1 persoon op de jetski konden gaan in verband met stabiliteit van de jetski. we konden zonder extra kosten 2 jetski's gebruiken . De tijd werd wel gereduceerd tot een half uur i.p.v. een uur. de fotocollectie die werd gemaakt van ons. negatief. dat we deze aanbeveling pas kregen tijdens de uitleg op de locatie, als we dit vantevoren hadden geweten hadden we misschien 2 x 1 uur geboekt.

My husband frightened me as I was on the back of him, the instructor said he would take me to a nearest beach but I declined and asked if I could get on the back of him which he agreed. I'm so glad I did as my husband came off his jet ski otherwise I would have too. Overall I did enjoy my experience with the instructor he explained all the sites with me.

Die 1-stündige Tour war perfekt. Erst 30 min mit Guide an der Küste entlang und dann 30 min "Spielplatz" zum selbst ausprobieren und rumheizen. Es wurden Fotos gemacht (was man währenddessen gar nicht mitbekommen hat) und die konnte man danach für 20€ kaufe . Den Preis find ich voll OK. Der Preis für die Tour selbst (130€ pro Jet Ski) war OK, aber etwas günstiger wäre natürlich schöner :)

Superb trip and the jet skiing was such fun. Out TUI rep ********** was extremely friendly and really made the day. Rather than just drive us to and from the jet skiing he gave us a fantastic commentary the island as we drove around - he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Cape Verde and on the way back explained so much of the history of the island and pointed it numerous interesting things - as there was only 2 of us it felt like we were getting a personal tour of the island.

When i fell off and had a panic attack in the water, the guide was amazing. He scooped me up onto his jet ski and sat with me until I could control my breathing. He took me back to shore where I waited until the rest of the party finished. The lady in the shop was also lovely when she saw me physically shaking and crying, she brought me water and calmed me down again.

Wonderful experience. Booking the excursions with TUI are peace of mind and easy to transact. The TUI reps are really knowledgeable about the excursions. The pick up was organised by TUI, the jetski centre was prepared, no waiting, the guide was fantastic, the family loved the experience.

Tout était parfait de l’accueil jusqu’à la ballade en jet. Le petit plus est qu’ils ont même pris le soin de mettre un guide qui parlait français. Le propriétaire est Franchement est il gére magnifiquement bien sa boîte.
