What to expect
The River Xanthos area has been the scene of action since ancient times – and the fun just keeps on coming with this excursion. You'll go on an open-top 4x4 safari through mountains and past villages before enjoying the chance to bathe in mud pools. This is the stuff of legend.Climb aboard your 4x4 and you'll start with a drive through the village of Zorlar. The village's Ottoman-style houses epitomise old Turkey. After trundling through fruit groves and getting wet 'n' wild with a water fight, you'll enjoy lunch at Gizlikent waterfall. Tuck into a host of tasty dishes with a backdrop of the waterfall.In the afternoon, there's an optional visit — for a small fee — to Saklıkent Gorge. Here, you can pay to do river tubing – settle on a rubber ring and float down the river for a couple of kilometres. If you're a landlubber, you can stay in the 4x4, meeting the rafters further downstream. And you'll also have the chance to bathe in some natural mud pools or play more water games, in which you'll get to squirt your family and friends with a blaster.

It was a fun packed day! Loved the waterfall visit, zip line and tubing. The tubing was great fun and definitely one of the holiday highlights! Really friendly and good fun guide. The food could have been better. Lots of carbs. We would have enjoyed some more off roading in the landrover. We thought the photos were a little miss leading. That said, we’d definitely do it again and would recommend.

My family had a great time on the tour of Gizlilent Waterfall and Saklikent Gorge. We all did the optional zip line activity (£10 per person) which has an Incredible view over the walk to the waterfall and feels very safe. I also did the tyre rafting (also £10) which was fun as an adult but I would not recommend for children under 12. It should be better highlighted to bring water shoes that can be secured around your feet. And a change of warm clothes for after the mud bath and cold shower.

We didnt enjoy this experience, it was freezing cold and no one told us what this "safari trip" included. Not sure why it is called safari when there was no safari. We drove through forest for 5min and the rest was on the road. Tui representative have not told us to take a jacket or anything to advise how freezing it will be,4x4 its mean taxi which old range rover ,they stop in most expensive places ,where coffee cost around 5£ and beer around 7£

We were told there would be a water fight with the package which was fun, however they make you pay to rent the equipment. The entry fees are extra which is fine , the mud bath is basically someone’s back garden where they charge your x3 the usual rate for things such crisps , drinks and snacks if your a tourist. As a fluent Turkish speaker I overheard them charging different prices for British tourists compared to local/native visitors which I find unfair and unnecessary.

The whole issue with water pistols was not explained fully We were told we would get wet but only from going through villages Only after first water fight did we find out there was a dry jeep again never explained All other aspects of the day were good - however first introduction was a water fight put a negative aspect on whole day

Some video of the activities before we booked would have seen us rafting as well. Put off by lack of knowledge of what to expect. Wish we had done that now. Absolutely soaked during water fights but a fantastic hoot!

Great experience, enjoyed thoroughly by the whole family. I would go on this safari again and highly recommend to groups of friends, couples and families with children/teens but not to solo travellers. We loved the water fights, the gorge walk was amazing (wish I had more time there), the river tubing and the visit to the waterfall. Found the zip wire a bit meh but daughter loved it. Mud bath in the end was very relaxing. The tour driver Erol was great throughout.

Great value and fun packed trip. The real cost is about £60 a head plus any drinks - but don’t let that put you off it’s amazing value for what you get to do and if you like getting stuck in you will love this. Extras are: Water Gun Hire £4pp. They make the fights fun. Waterfall. Included. Canyon walk. Included. Zip Line £10pp. fun but sedate. Rafting £10pp. This is amazing, by the canyon. Mud bath. Included. Photos (they take loads and are pro) £30 the lot airdropped. Go for it!

Brilliant experience from start to finish - driver was so funny, you get soaked, soaked & soaked again but it’s so much fun. The stop offs were excellent. Would recommend the walk to the waterfall, zip wire & tubing. The day is captured by memorable photos you don’t have pressure to buy but we did - All in all a brilliant day & worth the money. 100% recommend & would definitely do it again.

Kloof was net een menselijk wespennest, hier hadden we de hoogste verwachtingen van, viel enorm tegen. Waterval was wel leuk en meer plek voor een snelle foto, eten was erg goed en gezellig en nog een paar winkels gelukkig wat bij het resort niets voorstelde ook geen winkelstraat daarvoor 1x centrum geweest. Maar het "raften" erg leuk ook voor dochter, maar modderbad en relaxen erna was echt het leukste van de dag en maakte alles nog net goed, dochter van 10 erg blij dus wij uiteindelijk ook.

Such a fun day out. We went as 2 adults, 2 kids and we got absolutely soaked (which we weren’t expecting). Got to do some fun experiences such as zip lining, river tubing, getting in a mud bath. The tour guide, and our driver were great. A lot of things aren’t included in the tour price (water guns, zip line, entry to canyon, river tubing, drinks & snacks) so whatever you have paid for the tour you will need double that to include the extras, the day wouldn’t be fun without these.

It was a fun excursion, the water fights especially, there wasn’t anything not to like about the day. All the staff were friendly and fun, it was well organised and as a family of 4 we loved it, the scenery was beautiful especially the gorge and waterfall. Make sure that guests take money though. The lunch, entrance into the gorge and the mud bath are free, but you need to pay to hire the water pistols, zipline and tyre rafting. It is worth it though and it’s not expensive. I'd recommend this!

Was a lovely day out . Didnt enjoy the water fights from the jeeps constantly in my face and constantly getting wet . Should be a jeep for people who dont want to get shot in the face constantly.. my daughter was not happy and I didn't enjoy it as I had to cover her . .guides were amazing tho .

For us, it just needs to be a little more clear that nothing other than lunch and transportation is included in that price. You had to pay for the water guns, which seems a bit silly when that is the point of the trip. You also had to pay to enter any of the additional sites you were visiting which was fine but just needs to be fully outlined when you book so you know how much you need to bring.

As long as you don’t mind getting drenched this trip is a must. Water fights, waterfall, lunch, zip wire, gorge, tubing (very easy - I’m not a good swimmer) and mud bath. Excellently coordinated and led. There are extras to pay on the day (approx 500 ********** Lira) but worth it. Waterfights help keep you cool and are chaotic fun. Guides were great - clear instructions and fun.

I went on this activity with my friend and our teenage sons. We all absolutely loved it. The water fights were so much fun, you will get soaked ?? but it is actually quite refreshing in heat. The waterfall, tubing and mud baths were great places to stop and the food was delicious with a good amount to eat. Would recommend for sure.

Awesome trip with a variety of activities! Water fights were lots of fun and very welcome in the heat! River rafting was really enjoyable. Staff were friendly and informative. Great value for money trip. Our resort was 45 minutes from the meeting point each way which was a long time to be uncovered in the heat in addition to the rest of the day.l but would absolutely recommend as a fun trip. We all really enjoyed it. Evergreen Jeep Safari were great.

The safari was great with evergreen and couldn’t fault what they did. Erol was the main guide and our driver and he was really great along with the other members of the team. Instructions were always clear and we knew when to be in places. The only fault I could give and this is probably not with evergreen but probably TUI as I booked for collection from our hotel but the location was a different hotel. Our rep said it would come to ours but it was the other hotel. Location should be clear

Mourad from the tui sevice sold us this experience and he is a lovely guy very knowledgeable about all experiences. It was a great day we travelled as a couple. If you have kids I suggest you book it they will love it. Jeep ride with water fights not something I would usually go for but what a laugh. It’s cools you down though the day.

Thoroughly enjoyed every part of the experience. There were optional extras to pay for which I thought were very reasonably priced and definitely made the day more exhilarating. 'Water canons', which should be considered fairly essential were not included in the price but could be 'hired from the safari company' for only a couple of euro or so. zip wire, rafting. A seat belt was faulty on the Jeep. Remember to take or ask for plastic bag to keep valuables dry! Excellent guides

Value was ok till you got to all the extras ' 10 euros to rent 2 water guns? Biggest issue with the trip is the 1 hour transfer in the land rover there then one hour back in the baking hot sun with no cover driving 20kph under the speed limit, wind straight in your face. I couldn't wait for the ride to be over. Thank God for sun screen or they could have just dropped us at the hospital instead of the hotel. The event and people are great. Just need a bit of shade for the hour ride.

Best day ever, guide made the experience better, My only criticism is that when we stop for lunch the restaurant was full of smokers and you could not get away from breathing all the smoke. A non smoking area would be beneficial

My wife and I enjoyed the water fights with the water pumps, the zip wire and tubing. However the literature advertising the excursion were pretty much silent on these activities. You need to promote these activities better. The seat belts on the jeeps need to be longer.

The main guide was very informative of the day ahead, not pushy with over selling the extras. Tommy our driver was excellent. You will get absolutely drenched during the water fights, but it's still great fun. Food provided was very nice. Photos were pricey @ £30

We got very cold as we got so wet with the water fight at the start. Having young children they got so wet and cold they couldn’t get warm. We didn’t have spare clothes and the weather wasn’t warm so they really got a chill. The water fight was ok but too much for a 5 year old who got frightened

I had an ankle operation several months ago … I think the waterfall part of the trip needs more detail… I.e if you are less mobile 200 plus steps each and walking along an uneven riverbed way may be problematic… otherwise all good

The waterfalls, the zip line, the rafting, the mud bath were all excellent. The jeeps are pretty uncomfortable to sit in for an hour, but it was a small price to pay to get us to the waterfalls. Overall, we loved the trip.

Erol our driver was fantastic! Very respectful towards me especially being handicapped. The lunch was devine. Chicken kebabs chips and noodles and fresh bread or Fish. Highly recommend this trip

Fun from start , make sure hire water soaker as will get very wet anyway. It's so refreshing in the heat. Guides and drivers are brilliant, lunch was lovely. Mud bath was an experience, good value fun trip

Great day the best fun but when stopping to get water guns our jeep was early and there was another group picking up guns you had to pay for them and he was charging them 100 Turkish lira when we tried to buy some he said we had to wait till other keeps arrived then charged us 150 Turkish lira so seems you pay more with TUI !!!

What an amazing day your wet from water fights from the moment you arrive and have the a smile from ear to ear all day, you won’t be disappointed.
Best advice I could give is bring your belongings in a waterproof bag and wear beach shoes

The whole experience is excellent. Our driver Miren was great and looked after all of us all day. Erol was a great host and clearly explained in Turkish and English every single part of the excursion and every option available. We loved that the photographers take pictures of the whole day which is a fab and the raft experience is a must do. Although these are extras both made the experience even more special for us as a family. If you love fun and adventure then this is the trip for you.

Absolutely brilliant day, it was so much fun. Both our guide and the driver were amazing and we thought it was really great value for money. Be warned you will get soaking wet but that was all part of the fun.
