What to expect
Meet your guide in Pigadia when booking the transfer, or drive up yourself to the starting location of the walk in Pini Volada and meet your guide there. From Pini after about 30 minutes, reach the highest village on Karpathos. From Othos, walk up to a fantastic viewpoint where you can look out over the Aegean Sea.Make your way from the east coast to the west coast, where you reach the green vineyards of Kallenes. See the neighbouring island of Kasos on the horizon. After a tea break in the shade of a local church, continue towards the mountain village of Stes. At the end of the walk, sit down for lunch (included) together at a traditional Greek taverna in Othos. Please bring cash for something to drink.Be prepared for the wind and a stunning green and fertile landscape.

Know in advance:
Upon booking including transfer: You will be picked up at the meeting point in Pigadia to reach the starting point of the hike near Art and Walk in Volada (approx. 20-minute drive). From there, you'll walk a loop and end the hike near Art and Walk again where you drive back down to Pigadia. If booked excluding transfer please meet your guide near the Art and Walk location where you start and end the hike. A Google maps pinpointed location will be provided upon booking
A walking stick can be borrowed on request on-site
The tour might be cancelled if unforeseen circumstances, such as bad weather, make the activity impossible or dangerous or if the minimum number of 5 participants isn't reached. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund
Remember to bring:
It is recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes with good soles and take enough water with you (2 litres per person), some snacks, sunglasses, a hat, sunblock, and cash for drinks during lunch
