Spend a day soaking up the scenery surrounding one of Italy's most popular lakes. You'll be driven past olive trees, cypresses and rare flowers as you visit picturesque lakeside villages before taking a short boat trip along the way. A day in the stunning scenery surrounding one of Italy's most popular spots.In contrast to the dramatic, mountain-ringed north of Lake Garda, the south is broader and surrounded by gentle hills. You'll start by exploring the charming town of Garda, a popular and pretty lakeside town. Here, you'll find plenty of options for refreshments as you make your way into the historic lanes.Then you'll be whisked off on a scenic boat ride to Sirmione, where you can explore at your leisure. Next, we'll journey by coach to Saló, passing Roman, Scaligeri and Venetian monuments en route. As you stroll through its network of lanes and small squares, you'll have the chance to soak up the unique ambiance of picture-perfect Lake Garda.

The excursion around Lake Garda with Karen our tour rep was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and was informative about everything. She explained things in way that we understood and very pleased we choose the trip. The experience with two coaches stuck in the tunnel was a little exciting but also humorous at the same time. Karen was instrumental in unblocking the chaos that the ‘German coach driver’ had created but our fantastic coach driver was cool and unfazed. Thank you TUI! Good job!

Everything was good. The only thing I can think off was the coach the afternoon pick up was a few minutes late, but I expect this was because it had parked up elsewhere and came at the last minute as the coach park was nearly full at Sirmione. We did wonder if we at gone to the wrong place but luckily we hadn't.

Last stop we were only there 45 minutes and nothing to see or do,felt like we were just dropped off at each place to just look in shops and spend money in them on expensive items,will say tour guide was superb but a lot of info got lost in translation,not worth the money reallly

The coach was comfortable and the driver efficient. The ferry transfers and private boat charter were very good. However, our tour guide - was hard to understand because of her mixed accent, french/italian. She was also at times inefficient. Giving out tickets for the ferry was chaotic, as was collecting the money for the private boat charter. She had no idea who had paid for the trip, relying on our honesty I assume. She was also late to our dedicated meeting points twice.

The actual experience was good, we are glad we got to see all parts of the Lake but we did not think the stop at Salo was necessary- Limone would have been nice. The guide however, seemed drunk and when us and others were waiting for the private boat in Sirmione she was 15 minutes late. She managed to get us on a boat but I can’t help thinking this was rushed as the others had left at the right time. She also failed to realise two members of the trip were missing! Until someone made her aware.

Our tour guide, Yolo, was terrible. First, she left us waiting by ourselves for the ferry boat. Then we nearly missed our boat tour as she arrived 25 minutes late. Then she didn't arrive back at the coach for another 20 mins. When she did finally do a head count she realised five were missing. Four made their own way back to the coach but the fifth had to be searched for. This took a further half an hour, by which time the driver was disgruntled, we were late getting to see Salo + returning back

I enjoyed seeing other parts of the lake but the services of the guide were careless & irresponsible. She was told there were 2 people missing but she carried on taking us to the coach anyway. She was then told again that there were 2 people missing. At that point she phoned the missing people to ascertain their whereabouts. The missing ladies were stressed upset & angry because they were not aware of the meeting point as the guide had not waited for them to get off the boat.

A great trip covering a large part of the lake with some good amount of time in each place along the route of the tour. The tour guide who we had on a previous tour was still a let down. She arrived late again. Very unorganised. Confused the meeting places with her poor communication and left two passengers behind for a while as not keeping a record of numbers. Confused everyone over the optional extra trip add ons and got the money all mixed up. She was a nice lady but totally unorganised.

The tour was excellent. The mini bus was very comfortable and the driver and guide were friendly and professional. We stayed about 2 hours in Garda. Just long enough to get a feel for the place The ferry ride to Sirmione was very picturesque. It was very busy and very expensive. We had the option to do a boat ride with the guide to see the springs and the castle and Roman villa. It was a short boat ride but great fun. The driver then picked us up and we headed for Salò. Very enjoyable.

We were expecting a boat trip ! this was more like a couch trip with a little boat ride . we were very disappointed not how it was explained at all , also i thought we were supposed to be stopping off at Limone and we didnt , not enough time at any of the stops , all rush and no substance.

Fabulous trip with lots of information provided from our guide. Picked up from Riva at 8.25am and arrived in Garda just after 9. Free time to wander and have coffee. Then boat trip to Sirmione with more free time and lunch. We opted for an extra boat trip…12 euros each for half hour trip round the bay…well worth it. And then back on the bus to Salo for some chill time with a seat on the waterfront with a dessert ice cream and an Aperol Spritz. Just bliss and home to Riva for approx 6pm.

Guide (Karen) was very knowledgeable about the whole area. She was British and had lived in Italy for 40 years. She was very friendly and caring for everyone in the group - ensuring everyone was comfortable and safe. The tour is long as it goes around the whole lake. Visited Garda, Sirmione, Sole. Bus helped to pass through some other towns, which helped determine if we wanted to visit later. Sirmione was extremely busy. Overall cheaper and quicker than taking boat journeys to these places.

Great day out. The guide Francesco was excellent, very informative and good fun. We saw and learnt a lot about the towns on the lake. The boat trip from Garda to Sirmione was great and was a change from travelling on the coach. The coach was comfortable and the driver was excellent.

It was lovely to see parts of the lake but I felt the time in each place was a bit to short, we were give. The details of the place by the guide which took 10-15 minutes out of the hour we were allowed. Salo was lovely but mostly closed. I also thought the twenty minutes walk back to the coach from Sirmione was too much especially as we are in our mid seventies.

Garda is quite a small resort & we were given around 90 mins to explore - this is probably a little too long. Whilst we realize that ferry arrival/travel times can vary (& need to be accounted for), maybe a slightly later pick-up (or a little longer in other stop-offs) may be better. We were stopping in Limone - one of the more remote resorts & we were first pick-up. As we were a small party we only needed a minibus. This was great as, after our visit Salo we could be dropped off first!

We enjoyed the tour of the lake and the information given during the tour. We would change how long the day was - it wasn’t clear to us before going on the tour what time we would return. Also we would have more time in Limone and maybe less in Sermione. We were too hot and tired by the time we arrived in Lazise, lots of people on the bus sat in the park instead of walking into the town as it was too much by that point.

Garda and sirmione were very good. Once we left sirmione it went downhill. Salo was a waste of time and effort to walk there. Most of it was closed, only place really open was the cathedral. Also thought limone was included.

Loved the itinerary and such amazing value for the distance travelled and the lovely places we saw all around the lake. Comfiest coach seat I've ever had and unlike some reviews, I didn't find the time spent on the coach too long as it was broken up by three stops and a ferry ride. Even the last leg of the journey to Riva after Salo wasn't bad at all as the scenery was fantastic, even in the rain! Would definitely recommend if you don't have much time or a huge budget to explore on you own.

It was a packed trip but definitely worth doing, the boat trip to Simone gave wonderful views and showed different areas of the lake. The day had been planned extremely well.

We thought the tour guide was superb, she was so knowledgeable and also humorous. It allowed us to see and get a feel for the south of the lake and compare it with the north where we were staying. Definitely value for money and we had no complaints. A long day but plenty packed into it!

The whole trip was really good. The tour guide and driver were both brilliant. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Everything was well organized. The only thing I would change is I would rather have stayed in Sirmione longer and not stopped at Salo.

It was a well organsied trip with a good balance of using the coach and the lake ferries. It gave a good all round view of the lake and its main towns, and of the various road tunnels edging the lake. The coach, the driver and the guide were all excellent. The only thing you could not organise was the weather, but the rain did not spoil the day.

Our guide Tomas was excellent as was our coach driver very safe on those tunnels between Salo and Riva. I have done this trip many times and enjoyed it every time but as a returnee like many others on the trip we do continue to do the same destinations each time Garda/Bardolino Sirmnione and then Salo, those are excellent and since the tour is run atleast twice a week could you have 2 versions one doing those towns and another doing Torre ********** Benaco, Lazese, Pischeira or Decenzano please.
