This is a region with abundant sunshine, fertile soils and the sea on the doorstep. Fresh produce is intensely flavoured and typical dishes are crafted to allow the star ingredients to sing.Chef Mimmo has created this gastronomic experience to immerse his guests in the simple elegance of Campanian cuisine. You'll start with a tour of Mimmo's garden. With baskets in hand, you'll find out about the variety of fruits and vegetables he grows here, and then select fresh produce to be made into your lunch. Back in the demo kitchen at the restaurant, your chef will prepare a special meal. This is an educational and interactive experience so roll up your sleeves and get involved - or if you prefer, sit back and watch the magic happen - your carefully selected raw ingredients become an expertly prepared traditional Italian lunch that will be accompanied by qualty local wine.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Cooking experience, the local transfer in a very smart VW was a great start, we got some great views and a little local knowledge from our escort on the short journey to the farm. We had a little wander around the fresh growing vegetables and inspired knowledge on the reasons and types of veg grown for the restaurant. The class was intimate. Right in the heart of an Italian kitchen. You really get hands on making your lunch and dessert and you feel like you earned it too.

This is not really a cooking masterclass.We sliced courgettes and mashed potatoes but we are both quite keen cooks so it felt a little underwhelming. There was no meat or fish. The host was friendly ( but not Mimo himself). Best done with a group of you who know each other.

Mimmos experience was by far one of the best trips we had chosen. Very welcoming, informative and interactive. The restaurant/accommodation was beautiful and the products very reasonably priced. A little more detail in the recipes given would be appreciated. I really enjoyed their tomato sauce for the Gnocchi but no ingredients ,amounts or instructions given on recipes given.

Really couldn’t have been better. Collected from the hotel by car with a friendly local driver. Lovely tour of the farm with Chef Mimmo picking perfect vegetables. Short walk back to the beautiful and purpose built cooking school where we made for perfect and traditional courses which I can reproduce at home. Staff couldn’t be more friendly. Everyone’s best day of the holiday.

An amazing experience, it was so nice to meet a chef and his team so passionate about the land, the produce, the history and local traditions of the food. The cooking instructions were very clear and fun and we got to eat everything we cooked. However, it would have been even better if we had been able to sit whilst we ate our creations.

I loved the lesson but we would have liked to sit down a bit ...We were promised the tiramasu recipe to be sent on what's app but it never came, so maybe having the recipe written down to take away
