What to expect
Whale sharks are the gentle giants of the ocean. This tour whisks you by road and sea to Delphinius where you'll swim in the open sea with the biggest fish in the world. In a small group of just ten guests, you'll learn all about this magnificent species while having fun and creating long-lasting memories. After your encounter, you'll cruise to the north beach of Isla Mujeres where there's time to swim and relax on the sand. Tuck into a boxed lunch and soft drinks before heading back to Delphinus Playa Mujeres in the early afternoon.

What to remember
The maximum group size is ten guests
The minimum age to swim with whale sharks is 8 years
Bring your own towel, suncream, cap or hat, money for souvenirs and dry clothes
Guests must pay dock fee of USD $20.00 per person at the pier
Touching whale sharks can scare them or make them feel stressed, which in turn can disrupt their natural behaviour – we definitely don't want that. We want to make sure your experience respects the animals as much as possible, so let's do everything we can to look after these gentle giants. When you're in the water with them, please keep a safe distance away

Our guide Alberto was amazing I got a bit seasick. Maybe seasickness meds can be recommended or provided in case its needed. Also didn't know how to use a snorkel so i was choking when i first went in the water Otherwise, Great time!
