Three Majorca musts share top billing on this tour. You'll stroll the stalls of a farmer's market, delve into the depths of the famous Drach Caves and visit the renowned Majorica pearl shop with digital museum. Xisca, one of our local guides, says, ‘Before you even set foot inside, you call feel something truly spectacular lies ahead. The cave system is a world of secretive caverns and subterranean lakes brought to life by music and light shows.'Your first stop will be the Majorica shop and museum, where possibly the finest imitation pearls in the world are made. See digital displays explaining the manufacturing process before browsing pearl jewellery in the shop. Xisca says, ‘The designs are creative and exquisitely crafted, which is why Majorica jewellery is such a popular birthday or Christmas gift on the island.'It's then on to the weekly market in a country town. Poke around stalls stocked with everything from fragrant fruit and vegetables to aromatic herbs and pungent cheeses. The chance to try products such as Majorca's famous black pig pork is part of the experience. Spicy sobrassada, a spreadable paprika-cured sausage, makes for a great take-home souvenir – and helps local producers. Then, round off the day at Drach Caves. Get the lowdown from your guide on the formation of the system millions of years ago. There are four caves and a large lake, made all the more magical by the special lighting and a classical music concert from a quartet right in the very depths of the caves. What is the itinerary for this experience?- 8:30am to 9:30am – pick-up from your hotel- 9:30am to 10:30am – drive to the local markets - 10:30am to 11:30am – visit to the market- 11:30am to 12:00pm – drive to Portocristo- 12:00pm to around 3.30pm – free time, Pearl Factory visit and Caves visit (the order of these activities varies depending on the day) - Around 3.30pm – set off back to accommodation

Grundsätzlich ein schöner Tag mit toller Reiseleitung. Die Drachenhöhlen sind sehr beeindruckend, jedoch trübt der Massentourismus den Eindruck. Das Konzert auf dem See hätte ein besonderer Moment sein können, wurde aber durch wiederholte Hinweise zum Kameraverbot und das Anleuchten einzelner Gäste gestört. Der Perlenladen war interessant, aber die Zeit dort zu kurz, während Porto Cristo etwas zu lang bemessen war. Insgesamt ein schöner Ausflug mit kleinen Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten.

The only reason I have marked down this trip is due to the apparent mix up in communication between the guide and bus driver. The driver was late for the second stop as he thought he needed to return to the bus later than the agreed time. It was only a minor inconvenience and the overall experience was very enjoyable.

L'excursion devait se terminer à 17h mais.... à 14h50 nous étions déjà de retour à l'hôtel. Temps libre bien trop court, que ce soit pour le marché et la ville de Porto Cristo. La visite de fabrication des perles de Majorque s'est résumée à 3 minutes d'une vidéo sur rétrojecteur au sein de magasin de vente. Excursion très décevante et réduite de 2 heures 10 par rapport à ce qui avait été annoncé sur l'affiche lors de la réservation.

Het enige aan deze excursie dat positief was was het bezoek aan de grot. Voor het bezoek aan de markt en de parelshop was er veel te weinig tijd. De gids deed zijn best in 3 talen maar was niet altijd even verstaanbaar en in de ene taal vertgrok de bus om bv 11u en in de andere taal dan weer om 10u50. Ik zou deze excursie niet aanbevelen aan anderen.

The market was a waste of time, hardly anything there. Porto Cristo was lovely just not enough time there.the pearl factory was not very interesting again a waste of time. The caves were brilliant but very rushed and too many people in there at once and no one to tell you about them. The guide got off the bus before everyone got back to their hotel, which was disappointing as someone may have needed help.

If they cut down the number of visitors per session it would be a lot better. Because of the large number visitors, the queuing time is far too long to exit the cavern. That said, the performance in the cavern is awesome.

Die Drachenhöhle wirklich ein Erlebnis wert. Den Markt fanden wir persönlich nicht so toll. Die Reisebegleiterin hat den Eindruck erweckt das Sie keine ********** auf Ihren Job hat. Das Mikrofon war viel zu laut, man hatte das Gefühl man wird dauerbeschallt in einer nicht angemessenen Lautstärke. Auch die Perlen von Mallorca waren nicht unser Ding dann lieber dafür mehr Geschichte von Porto christo wäre toll. Die Drachenhohlen lohnen sich auf jeden Fall 🤩

There was more time travelling to pick up as the actual trip is no more than 30 minutes away and we was on the coach for 1hr 15min. We only had 1hr at each stop and the cave experience was like a cattle market being herded, rushed round and not actually being able to enjoy the experience properly.

La grotte c'était super mais le marché nul que des vêtements, pour les perles ce n'est que de la vente c'est joli mais aucune information sur la fabrique des perles . Le prix de 60 e pour n'apprécie que la grotte et sans repas ça ne se justifie pas. Par contre guide très professionnelle

The caves were good. The trip tried to cover too many places. Should have had 2 hours in either Porto Cristo or Felanitx, rather than rushing around the two. The pearl “factory” was really unimpressive and felt like an excuse to drum some customers up for Majorica. Bus driver was lovely, let my two boys sit up front after the first leg because they were carsick, only for the guide to say that they had to be 11 or older

We spent all day driving about random locations when the cave itself had everything We stopped for? Eg that pearl shop- why? Don’t know but there was one at the caves. Stopped for lunch- why? Don’t know but there was a cafe at the caves. Drove around aimlessly all day then finally got to caves to be squashed with 100s of other people and not even get a go on the boat or a proper look at caves with out people walking into you

The tour guide (Victoria) was amazing, providing great information and fluidly switching between 3 different languages to suit all on board. The bus had an issue with the air condition but at the first chance the driver got when we were at the market he went and got it fixed Which made the journey so much more enjoyable The only disappointment is that the whole concert was shorter than expected, still an amazing experience nevertheless

Die Höhlen und perlenfabrik waren wunderschön. Zeitplan war perfekt. Der Markt war ein totaler Reinfall!! 3 stände mit Klamotten die man überall auf der Insel bekommt. Die Mitarbeiterin hat nur von einem Tennisspieler geredet und kaum relevante Informationen rüber gebracht… Ich bin enttäuscht

Ablauf, Markt in San Lorenzo und die Höhlen selbst sind top bzw. sehr sehenswert. Langweilig war dagegen die Perlenfabrik. Dort gab es leider keine gute Möglichkeit, um sich irgendwo hinzusetzten und auszuruhen. Da hätten sie den Bus auflassen sollen.

Syns vi fikk forliten tid i grottene. Måtte løpe til bussen og fikk ikke tid til suvinir titting. Litt mye tysk prating fra guiden, de var 17 fra Tyskland også var vi 6 andre fra Nederland, Sverige og Norge. Men ellers en fin tur. Perlefabrikken var ikke noe særlig. Sikkert gøy for de interesserte. Vi dro 9.30 og var hjemme 17.30. Så tok en hel dag. Men grottene var så verd det.

Der Ausflug war super und sehr schön, die Drachenhöhle ist definitiv ein Besuch wert, Wir haben den Ausflug in Deutsch gebucht, leider wurde Englisch gesprochen und wir haben nur die hälfte verstanden,was sehr schade war. Die Reiseleiterin konnte nichts dafür, sie wurde erst am Morgen darüber informiert und spricht Französisch und Englisch.

Elizabeth (I think that was her name) was a brilliant guide, very informative and friendly all day. The coach did appear to have a mechanical issue but thankfully only caused a minor delay and we made it to the caves just in time.

Det tog alt for lang tid at komme hjem efter at have set grotterne. 2 timer og 40 minutter inden vi blev sat af ved hotellet er alt for lang tid. Burde blive informeret om det ved køb af tur. Guiden var virkelig elendig talte dårlig engelsk og tysk i en stor blanding .

Drachenhölen absolutes Erlebnis. Ein Marktbesuch hätte auch gereicht. Mallorca hat sicherlich mehr zu bieten. Zweisprachig geführte Ausflüge (deutsch/englisch) sind ungünstig. Die Hälfte der Ausflügler ist unaufmerksam und der Guide ist damit überfordert.

Die Reiseleiterin gab sehr viele Informationen und Tips. Es war alles zeitlich super organisiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, gerne wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍 Zusätzlich muss man erwähnen, dass von der Reiseleiterin und dem Busfahrer sehr viel Heimatstolz und Verbundenheit rübergebracht worden ist. 👍👏

De hoofd attractie de grotten, bezochten we pas om 15:00. Daarvoor hebben een markt bezocht in een dorpje niets bijzonders ( we kregen 1 uur vrije tijd) daarna de jachthaven Porto Cristo waar we 2 uur vrije tijd hadden (veel te lang). Vervolgens naar een parelwinkel puur commercieel waar we weer 1 uur vrije tijd kregen (een kwartier zou genoeg zijn). Als laatste dan de grotten om 15:00 die waren heel mooi. Al met heel lang in de bus gezeten ca. 5 uur, ik zal deze excursie aan niemand aanraden!!

Really enjoyed the experience and Alison our tour rep was fantastic. Very informative. The caves were amazing to see. The coach trip was enjoyable a nice safe drive. My only criticism, it would have been nicer to spend a little more time in the village first stop as by the time you'd walked through the market there was hardly any time to stop for a drink. Not over impressed with the Pearl factory as they are man made and very expensive

Expérience décevante. Excursion très chère au regard de la prestation. Au moment de la réservation personne ne nous a prévenu qu'il y avait pour remonter de la grotte 119 marches, alors que nous avions demandé auparavant s'il fallait beaucoup marcher!

1h30 dans un marché local qui n'a aucun intérêt (5 exposants), alors que seulement 45 minutes seulement dans la boutique de perles. Des explications sur le processus de fabrication des perles auraient été les bienvenues. Visite de la grotte faite quasiment au pas de course, pas le temps de vraiment regarder et de prendre des photos. Et un concert qui ne dure que 10 minutes et qu'on nous a vendu en spectacle son et lumière. Et pas eu le temps de faire le petit tour en barque car timing trop serré

The highlight of the excursion was the visit to the caves. The visit to the market and the pearl factory were both fairly pointless and seemed to be just a means to get us to spend money, on a very tight time schedule. The excursion should be modified to include just the Drach caves, plus some free time to visit Porto Christo which is a very pleasant place. It could then a be a half-day excursion and much cheaper.

tarif élevé pour une visite de ce type. Il nous a été annoncé un concert de musique classique avec jeux de lumière et visite de la grotte en barque. le concert dure à peine 15 mn avec du violon simplement, le jeux de lumière n'est qu'un simple éclairage blanc, et la visite en barque n'existe pas ce sont les musiciens qui sont en barque.

Very well organised. Lots to see and do. Free time for lunch and a walk around sant Llorenc Markets and Porto Cristo harbour. Our guide Ale was great. Time at Majorca pearls was short, but enough time to buy something lovely! Drach caves were amazing. We really liked the floating orchestra.

The transfer was far too long . Markets weren’t great only a few stalls there . Tour would have been better just going to the caves and back . The caves were far too busy did not have time to stop and take photographs as it was extremely busy . The concert at the end was nice , would have liked to have went on the boat ride but this was not possible due to the amount of people wanting to get on the boats .

It's very expensive for what it is. Getting taken to a tiny market town and the rubbish pearl museum were nothing more than fillers to explain away the high price. At the caves you have no time to enjoy or take your time. You are shoved through like cattle. Overall I would say this was a really poor and overly expensive excursion.
