If you want to explore Majorca's cultural side, then this exclusive, adults-only tour is for you. You'll discover gems such as the mountain village Fornalutx, the palace of Son Marroig, Sa Foradada and visit a winery for a tasting. Marga, one of our local guides, says, ‘An Austrian royal so fell in love with the views of Sa Foradada that he bought the manor house overlooking it and turned it into his palace. Nowadays, it's a favourite wedding spot for Majorcan couples.'This day out features history, sights and even a winery visit to tempt your tastebuds. Kick off with a drive through Binissalem's wine region, heading toward the Sóller Valley en route to Fornalutx. Fringed with orange and lemon groves, it oozes authentic Majorcan charm. It's no surprise it's often referred to as one of the prettiest villages in Spain. You'll have time to wander around the narrow, cobbled streets and even do a spot of souvenir shopping from the local handicraft shops.You'll continue to Son Marroig, the former summer residence of Habsburg Archduke Ludwig Salvator. Admire the artefacts and antiques, and stroll around the gardens. Star billing is for Sa Foradada and the surrounding coastline – rated by National Geographic as one of the world's ‘Top Ten Best Ocean Views'. We'll end the day at Bodega Ramanya, a family-owned winery producing some of the island's finest red, white and sparkling wines. You'll enjoy a tasting session paired with some locally produced snacks, before heading back via Valldemossa for more top-notch views.

Es war rundum eine wunderschöne Tour. Unser Guide Juan hat uns wirklich viele interessante Sachen unterwegs erklärt. Besonders gefallen hat mir der Besuch auf der Aleo Vera Farm, ich habe viel Neues erfahren. In Arta hätte ich gern noch 1 Stunde mehr Zeit gehabt, ansonsten ist die Tour nur zu empfehlen!

Det var en superbra upplevelse i vackra miljöer och Fornaluxt var otroligt vackert och besöket på vingården en riktig höjdare! Magdalena och Tom på vingården var mycket underhållande och skickliga att få gruppen att uppskatta besöket tillsammans, samt bjöd på goda tapas och gott vin. Guiden på bussresan pratade mycket på tyska och översatta lite mindre till engelska men vi hängde med i informationen ändå. Min dotter som är 21 år uppskattade också turen, även om var ensam i den åldersgruppen.

Organisation war super. Der Reiseleiter hat während der Fahrt viel Information vermittelt. Die abgefahrenen Stationen sind sehr interessant gewesen. Besonders die Weinverkostung war der Höhepunkt. Die Familie vom Weingut hatte sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und auch Spaß gemacht.

One of the best tours I have ever been on. The village and palace were lovely additions to the wine tour which was such fun. The family run vineyard had loads of old vehicles and equipment which had been saved by the family. All the wines served were lovely plus some great nibbles, followed by a sing song. It's a must in my opinion.

Besichtigung historisches Dorf war schön. Aussichtspunkt mit Museum war ok, aber negativ war, das das Restaurant nur Gäste die essen bedient hat. Die grosse Terrasse zum Trinken war noch geschlossen, was unverständlich ist. Unser Gide hat aber uns vor der Weinprobe Wasser besorg , was sehr aufmerksam war. Die Weinprobe war einfach genial. Super Stimmung , gute Weine ,feine Tapas und lustige Unterhaltung. Dieser Ausflug ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben insgesamt 5 Ausflüge mit TUI unternommen und allen waren sehr gut. Immer hat es geklappt, dass mein gehbehinderter Mann vorne im Bus sitzen konnte und sehr viel Rücksicht darauf genommen wurde, dass er beim Laufen und Treppensteigen etwas länger braucht. Dieser Ausflug war sehr schön, weil die besuchten Orte nicht so überlaufen waren. Aber das Beste kam zum Schluss. Die Weinprobe auf dem kleinen, sehr feinen Weingut mit einem interessanten Privatmuseum, war sehr familiär und sehr nett.

Das Bergdorf ist grandios und man hatte auch genug Zeit alles anzuschauen, das ist ja nicht immer so. Auch die Weinverkostung war grandios, eine tolle Familie und man hatte nicht das Gefühl einfach nur abgefertigt zu werden. Die Familie nahm sich Zeit, erklärte alles und bat sehr viel an. Und man hatte das Gefühl dass sie das gerne machen. Diese Tour würde ich wieder machen.

The majority of the tour party were Germany which led to a more prominent trend towards them. The tour was excellent especially the wine tasting full marks for the vineyard. More could have been defined in regards to when the opportunity for lunch would be. The second pert sight seeing/museum was not the best timing for the on-site hospitality, they weren’t open.

The excursion was great we had a fantastic time the guide Gabriel was very informative telling us all about the area we were visiting the wine tasting and refreshments were good. The bus driver was really careful which made us feel safe all in all a great day will go on this excursion again the next time we come to Alcadia.

Very good day out. Driver and rep were good. The intro paper work says not suitable for people with walking disability, I agree but the rep explained that you do not have to walk around the mountain village, so we went to a cafe which was good. Rest of tour was flat ground so it was good. Snack / food at wine tasting was nice and unexpected. Heavy rain late afternoon was a shame. Enjoyed the day.

Guiden og chaufføren var fantastiske. Vi havde desværre lidt regn undervejs men pyt det gik fint alligevel. Værterne på vingården var noget af det mest fantastiske vi har oplevet på en vingård. Kan varmt anbefales.

Enjoyed the whole experience, although there not that much to see at Son Marroig. But it was still worth the visit and set on a beautiful site. The wine tasting visit was informative and lots of fun. The visit to the mountain village was wonderful.

Meiner Frau hat es besser gefallen, als mir. Für mich war das Verhältnis Aufenthalt/Fahrzeit zu klein. Eine Ausnahme bildete die Weinprobe, zu der genügend Zeit zur Verfügung stand. Die Erklärungen des Reiseleiters waren sehr Umfangreich und interessant. Sie waren zweisprachig und in Deutsch gut zu verstehen.

The Hotel was very good value for the money paid. Food was plentiful and varied and the excursion we tour was great went on (Wine tasting) was fantastic. The guide on this tour was fully engaged and new loads of information and was excellent. Entertainment in the hotel was mediocre and not that varied.

Empfehlenswerte Tour mit Gabriel und Juan (Fahrer). Wegen der Entfernung der Stopps von Alcúdia, saß man natürlich die meiste Zeit im Bus. G. hat während der Fahrt aber viele Infos zu Mallorca gegeben und die Landschaften waren auch aus dem Bus heraus traumhaft. Fornalutx ist ein schönes Dorf. Die Zeit dort war ausreichend. Den Stopp in Son Marroig hätte ich lieber gegen ein zweites Dorf getauscht. Die Weinprobe war lecker, es gab auch vegetarische Häppchen. Die Winzerfamilie war sehr herzlich.

Great day out in the Marjorcan countryside. Stunning village Fornalutx which we shall visit again. The Arch Duke of Austria's museum was informative, great views, no refreshments available. Vineyard was a perfect end to a full day. The family made us extremely welcome, the tour of their artefacts was amazing, fantastic tapas and wine. Only downside we should have been advised our Vineyard was until 230pm, we were all parched after a day of touring but the wine eased the thirst

The day was incredibly fun. Fornalutx is a stunning place and we had quite some time to wander. The museum following it didn’t interest me as much, but the drive there was stunning. The highlight of the day is the wine tasting. The family are fantastic, the atmosphere was great and the wines really good. The only thing I will say is to bring a snack or something because the “lunch” only comes with the wine, around 15h30 or 16h00.

Enjoyed the whole trip the wine tasting was unforgettable in a good way. Won’t have have the done the trip but sold it by the rep Les it was acactly as he described. Enjoyed so much would do this trip again if came to this area again

We enjoyed the trip very much, lovely scenery and village which we visited. The visit to the vineyard and wine tasting was a fantastic end to the trip. The owner of the vineyard and his mother were brilliant hosts, and were very generous with the wine we tasted, and the delicious snacks. Long day, but well worth it.

Toller Guide und guter Busfahrer. Schöne Stops und alles wurde vom Guide toll erklärt. Rückfragen wurden gut beantwortet. Die Leute auf der Bodega waren sehr gastfreundlich und es wurde auch sehr lustig. Die Sammlung und Besichtigung sind sehr beeindruckend. Absolute Empfehlung.
