What to expect
Go off-road on a 4x4 adventure that will take you well and truly off the radar. You'll bump down dirt tracks, bounce over potholes and drive through blink-and-you-miss-them villages. Plus, you'll tick off plenty of must-sees on the way. Your driver actually doubles up as a guide, giving you the insider's track on Crete's hidden gems as you go.You'll kick off this full day tour just as you mean to go on – driving along country roads and tracks to experience the real Crete. You'll head for the mountains first, stopping off for photos and a coffee in a village, before reaching Spili, home to the 25-head Lion Fountain and some gorgeous views.Now you'll really get to grips with the land as you go off-road towards the village of Kerame where you'll be treated views over the south coast. There's a beach nearby where River Kourtaliotis flows into the sea, Preveli Beach, which makes an idyllic spot to take a dip. A Cretan lunch then awaits before a walk between the vertical cliffs surrounding Kourtaliotiko Gorge.

Ein sehr freundlicher Guide, der viele Infos über das Leben auf Kreta teilte. Wir haben unglaublich schöne Landschaften gesehen, zu denen wir so vermutlich nicht gefahren wären. Das Essen in der Taverne in Spili war sehr lecker. Das kleine Dorf Spili ist sehr hübsch und hat einige Geschäfte und eine tolle Bäckerei.

Good day guide was good company the beach was black pebbles not as it looks like in the brochure and very small with lots of people and this is may, need to inform people to take beach shoes to go in the sea. Split was not very exciting and not very big. Palm trees were great and the walk up stream to them was very nice, we waded across and come back the other side. Overall a good experience worth doing but very expensive for what it is.

Gut organisiert, pünktliche Abholung. Sehr sympathischer Guide (Nikos), der viel und kurzweilig durch die Tour geführt hat und sehr gut auf alle Teilnehmer eingegangen ist. Kleine Gruppe - die Stimmung war so gut, dass wir auch in den Tagen danach uns zum Essen (und trinken) getroffen haben.

Fantastic guide(Jason) knowledgeable and interesting throughout. We were glad we went in the Merc bus(very comfy). The steep steps to the beach are unsuitable for the less than agile - plus that area spoiled by trash left on trails. (Though this seems to be a common problem in Crete, as in GB!). Contryside in the mountains is stunning. Well worth the trip.

Der Guide Antoni war sehr engagiert und hat viel über die Insel erzählt. Er ist auf jede Frage eingegangen und war sehr humorvoll. Die Landschaft , die man durchfuhr, war überwältigend. Es gab ein typisch griechisches Essen, ausgesprochen lecker. Ein gelungener Ausflug, der lange nachwirkt.

Co prawda w naszym przypadku, nie mieliśmy okazji podróżować z polskojęzycznym przewodnikiem, niemniej nasz grecki przewodnik Stavros(który porozumiewał się płynnym angielskim) stanął na wysokości zadania i pokazał nam Kretę z zupełnie innej, mniej turystycznej, a bardziej lokalnej strony, za co jesteśmy ogromnie wdzięczni! Niesamowity przewodnik, z ogromnym poczuciem humoru, którego możemy z czystym sumieniem polecić jak i samą wycieczkę po mniej znanych zakątkach Krety.Warta każdych pieniędzy!

Een nadeel, we hebben allebei door het zwaar vallen van de olijfolie 2 dagen boven de pot gehangen. Kijk daar voor uit als je niet aan olijfolie gewend bent... Verder alleen maar genoten van de reis, de gids, de locaties en de uitleg.

Bardzo ciekawa krajoznawczo wycieczka z bardzo dobrym polskim przewodnikiem - Panią Małgosią. wygoda podróży średnio zwłaszcza miejsca w jeepie które są równolegle w kierunku jazdy, co przy dość ograniczonej przestrzeni powoduje mdłości, do tego twardo i nisko. ciekawe punkty wycieczki, dobry lunch. Ein toller Einblick in die Landschaft von Kreta, tolle Wege und ein sehr guter Fahrer Guide. Lefti hat seine gute Laune und seine Informationen sehr gut an alle weitergegeben, so konnten wir aich das ein oder andere Detail über Land und Leute erfahren. Luft bekommt von uns 20 Punkte und mehr denn er war nicht nur Fahrer sondern hat uns auch noch bedient und sehr interessante Dinge über Kreta erzählt. Wir werden die Fahrt lange in Erinnerung behalten und kommen gerne wieder.

Przewodnik wycieczki niekompetentny, mijal sie z podstawowymi faktami. Wycieczka skrócona wzgledem deklaracji organizatora. Uzaleznianie dlugosci pobytu od "postawienia kawy" przewodnikowi jest ponizej jakiegokolwiek poziomu. Zachowanie przedstawicielki TUI w hotelu to skandal. Plus to wspaniali kierowcy wyraznie zazenowani zachowaniem przedstawicielki firmy i nadrabiajacy powyzsze, wlacznie z przejmowaniem roli "przewodnika".

Er hat viele Fragen beantwortet und ist auf uns als Gruppe eingegangen Es gab genügend Zwischenstopps die auch ohne Hektik möglich waren. Unsere Gruppe hatte viel Spaß zusammen. Interessante Stopps und man lernt Gegenden von Kreta kennen, die nicht touristisch bekannt sind. Die Länge des Ausfluges war gut gewählt. Abholung und Rückfahrt zum Hotel haben super geklappt. Zuallererst möchten wir unseren Fahrer und Guide Michalis nennen. Wir haben von ihm sehr viel über Kreta gelernt und das in einer tollen Art und Weise. Bei dem gemeinsamen Mittagessen erlebten wir eine echte griechische Gastfreundschaft. Die Zeit verging leider viel zu schnell. Alles in allem war es eigentlich unser schönster Urlaubstag.

Wir sind nicht mit Geländewagen gefahren,sondern mit zwei kleinen Bussen. Unsere Gruppe war sehr angenehm.Mit einer Funkverbinden waren wir mit dem ersten Bus verbunden,dieser hat deutsch mit uns gesprochen,dass wir alles verstanden haben. Für unsere Minireisegruppe war es die perfekte Tour!!! Die Route ist super geplant, abwechslungsreich mit den Höhepunkten Preveli-Palmenstrand und das Bergdorf Spili. Unbedingt positiv zu erwähnen, ist unser Fahrer und Guide Kostas. Viel mehr als die üblichen Infos über die Insel, gab er uns in absolut perfektem Deutsch, professionell und viel Herz. Wir waren anfangs skeptisch ob der Preis angemessen ist. Nun sind wir uns einig, dass es jeden Cent wert war. Der Guide Vangelis, war stets freundlich und gut gelaunt. Er hat mit viel Spass und jeder menge Hintergrundwissen die Tour zu einem informativen, kurzweiligen und unglaublich nachhaltigen Erlebnist gemacht. Die Stops waren gut gewählt und die Verpflegung war hervorragend. Zudem hatten wir eine tolle Gruppe. Hier noch einmal vielen Dank an Adrienn, die uns die Tour empfohlen hat.

A very big thank you to Andreas, our excellent, very friendly, fun and informative guide for the day. He made us all feel we were a small group of friends. My wife and I highly recommend the Safari Club 100%. Andreas shared his vast knowledge of the Cretan wildlife, traditions, ways of living and mythology of the island. A fantastic day on the beautiful island of Crete.

Es war Wunderschön, die Landschaften toll, der reiseführer war sehr freundlich,und er hat sehr gut erklärt, und dass mittagessen typisch und lecker. Wir empfehlen den ausflug sehr.

Er was een Nederlandssprekende gids beloofd, maar alles was in Engels. Gids en chauffeur deed het wel uitstekend. Afwisselende dag met lekker eten en mooie uitzichten.

Der Ausflug war spitze. Der Guide war sehr gut. Vielen Dank noch mal an Christos (der Bremer Grieche??) . Es war sehr informativ und unterhaltsam mit ihm. Das hätte wir uns bei dem anderen Ausflug (Dorf Loutro) auch gewünscht.

Tour staat en valt met de gids en dat deze de taal spreekt. En goed contact maakt met passagiers. De toer was geweldig, eten was goed ,veel over het eiland geleerd. De gids (Stravos) Is een topper!!!! Leve zijn Belgische moeder.

Die Tour war eindrucksvoll, und der Guide war supernett. Man ist auch in die Berge von Kreta gefahren, und hat einen wunderschönen Palmenstrand, Preveli, besucht. Das Mittagessen war zwar etwas spät, aber dafür sehr lecker
