Discover Ajloun Castle at your own pace on a private day trip from Amman, the Dead Sea, or Madaba.After pick-up from your hotel, you'll travel to northern Jordan to visit Ajloun Castle (Qal'at Ar-Rabad), a 12th-century fortress built in 1184 by one of Saladin’s generals to defend the region against the Crusaders and protect the important trade routes between Jordan and Syria. Explore the castle independently as you admire its towers, passageways, and panoramic views over the surrounding hills.Next, head to the Ajloun Cable Car for a scenic round-trip ride through the region's beautiful landscapes. The 20-minute journey follows a 5 km route between Ajloun Castle and the Ishtafina area, offering spectacular views of forests, valleys, and historic landmarks.After your visit, you'll be transferred back to your hotel.
