Wat te verwachten
De zon zien ondergaan boven de Ionische Zee is een van die must-do's op Zakynthos. En deze boottocht met een traditionele Griekse kaïk heeft ook nog iets spectaculairs in petto voor je. Constantine, een van onze deskundige lokale gidsen, zegt: "Ook al heb ik het al duizend keer gezien, het is een moment dat me nog steeds kippenvel geeft. Het is magisch, romantisch en maakt me zielsgelukkig - Moeder Natuur op haar creatiefst, die de zon laat ondergaan tussen de Misithres Rotsen. Puur genot".Het begint al meteen goed als je aan boord gaat. Een houten kaïk roept een gevoel van nostalgie en traditie op. Vissers in het oostelijke Middellandse Zeegebied gebruiken deze boten al sinds de oudheid. Er is een gids aan boord die je alles vertelt over Zakynthos. Vanuit de haven van Agios Sostis in het zuiden vaar je naar Marathonisi, een klein eiland dat bekend staat als Schildpaddeneiland. De kapitein gaat voor anker voor een duik in de vroege avond. Bekijk grotten en, met wat geluk, karetschildpadden voordat je naar de westkust vaart om de zonsondergang te zien.En de plek waar je aankomt is echt ongelofelijk. Bij de Misithres Rocks kijk je je ogen uit op de zonsondergang die tussen de twee formaties door achter de horizon verdwijnt. Je maakt de ene na de andere foto. En er is ook een zanger aan boord die voor relaxte, romantische muziek zorgt, zodat je nog meer geniet van het geweldige uitzicht. Het is romantiek ten top als je terugvaart naar de haven op de klanken van de golven die zachtjes tegen de romp slaan en live muziek terwijl je nipt van een glas bubbels.

We were told there would be swimming aids on board but there wasn't which was disappointing we were also told there would be 2 swim stops we only had 1 no explanation was given, the sunset was stunning everyone was given the opportunity to see it as the boat kept going round.

The atmosphere was very subdued after visiting the caves.Although the singer was nice I was expecting more of a party atmosphere and more than a very small glass of proseco.The boat was quite small and I think calling it a cruise ship is a stretch of anyone's imagination.

Well organised, with great swim stops via either jumping in or descending via ladder. Added touch of a local singer as we headed back to port from seeing the sunset. Snacks, drinks for purchase onboard plus WC. Very memorable - thanks TUI team.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Live Musik am Boot und herrliche Momente. Nur die Organisation der Busse bei den Abholungen war etwas unorganisiert. Lange Wartezeiten dazwischen. Und bei der Abholung danach war es etwas chaotisch. Es wurde lange rumdiskutiert

The Cruise was lovely. No sunset but that can't be helped! The guide was very informative and it was lovely to have a singer on board to add to the experience! The transfers did not go well though. We were dropped off by taxi at the port and had no idea what to do. I had to call the helpline. We eventually caught up with the guide but it was quite stressful. The guide was able to find our transport back. Better communication needed!

ik vond de boot heel leuk en mooi goed geregeld en gezellig. de terug reis met de bus vanuit het eiland was minder geregeld hebben een taxi moeten bestellen om terug naar het hotel te kunnen bus reed super ver van ons hotel af en naar een ander stuk van Zakynthos.

Very lovely trip. The guide Chris was informative. The captain of the boat was very good turning the boat so we all got lovely views of the sunset. We left the hotel at 17:45 & arrived back about 11pm - a beautiful evening out at sea with 2, 20min swim stops

De boottocht zelf was perfect. We waren alleen niet op de hoogte gebracht door de TUI medewerker in het Hotel Aqua Bay dat er ook zwemstops waren dus wij waren een van de enige die geen zwemspullen mee hadden tijdens jullie tocht. Toen wij terug waren in de haven waren de bussen er nog niet. 15-20min in het pikkedonker moeten wachten, hierna ontstond ook nog de verwarring in welke bus iedereen terug moest, niet zo prettig laat op de avond. Het rijgedrag van de buschauffeurs liet te wensen over.

The tout itself was great very enjoyable the only bad part was at the end our coach return was not there everybody else was boarded and left we were kept waiting in a dark carpark for approx 25 mins and when the coach sorry minibus did turn up it was too small not that the rep checked one guy was sat on the floor which im sure is illegal no apology nothing very poor ending to an otherwise good trip.

It was so magical, everyone so happy on board. The singer was fabulous, and swimming off the boat was something we will remember for a long time. We couldn't understand what the guide was saying as she spoke quite quietly and with the engine noise and water swishing it was difficult to hear. It would be useful for the hotel reps to say to take food as we didn't get back until 11pm as the coach didn't pick us up for half an hour after we got off the boat.

The first two things we wanted to note are the amount or cigarette smokers on board a) with no consideration for others but b) the fact that boat staff were handing out ash trays. There are no smoking signs up on the boat but the boat staff handed out ash trays and allowed people to smoke amongst the whole boat meaning as a pregnant non smoker i could not escape it. I feel i could not address this as boat staff were also smoking! Secondly €10 for two small cans of coke is just extortionate.

Needs to be made much clearer in all communications than there are swimming opportunities on this trip. We booked before our holiday and received no information about the chance to swim, so missed out on this on the boat. Otherwise a lovely time, boat staff and coach driver were great and singer was excellent.

Het was een leuke boottocht, helaas was het weer iets minder maar hebben we toch een mooie zonsondergang kunnen zien. De gids wat slecht te verstaan door haar hese stem dat was jammer. De live zang op de terugweg was erg mooi en leuk. Al met al een leuke avond gehad en zeker een aanrader.

Het was een leuke trip en mooie eonsondergang.eniige minpunt er waren 2 stops voor te gaan zwemmen, de 2 de stop was 30 minuten en dat was te lang,er was trouwens maar 1 zwemmer..en de mensen ook aanraden iets mee te nemen wnt om 21.00 u tegen de koude ,wnt om 21.09 u was het koud.

This excursion was great from start to finish. Friendly crew and the guy behind the bar was from Gateshead which was good. We found it was so romantic when we saw the sunset whilst having a glass of prosecco and listening to a lovely young lady singing.

The music was lovely, the TUI staff very friendly and organised. The boat turning at the sunset spot so everyone could see the sunset was excellent. The issues were that the boat stopped near other boats which wasnt safe. The trip was to capacity, so much that people.had to sit apart. Hardly the romantic trip as advertised. People were smoking everywhere and some hot ash flew from the people in front towards me. (Maybe a designated area for smokers would help).

Olisi kiva, jos retkeen voisi yhdistää jotenkin ruokailun. Myös paikka, jossa vaihtaa uikkarit kuiviin vaatteisiin olisi kiva, vessa oli vähän ahdas ja epähygieeninen. Olisi kiva, jos kerrottaisiin mistä pelastusliivit löytyvät, jos tulee hätätilanne. Silta laivaan ja pois oli vähän pelottava, jäi aukko, josta huonopolvisen vähän vaikeaa harpata. Live musiikki oli kiva ja uimatauot myös. Aina ei ääni kuulunut hyvin. Maisemat upeita ja yleisesti kiva tunnelma, nautimme reissusta.

Wat een geweldige ervaring! De boottocht was prachtig. Het hoogtepunt was zonder twijfel de zonsondergang: werkelijk adembenemend. Een leuke extra is dat je tijdens de trip ook de mogelijkheid hebt om te snorkelen. Tip: neem zeker je eigen snorkelset mee. Klein aandachtspunt: als je snel last hebt van zeeziekte, is dit misschien niet de meest ideale excursie excursie voor jou. Verder was het een onvergetelijke ervaring en absoluut een hoogtepunt van onze reis.

The whole experience was really good, we were picked up on time, good value for money, the tour lady Sylwia has told us a lot about the iland and local traditions. The trip was realy relaxing, not to many people on board so plenty space for everyone to be comfortable and relaxed. We loved the swims stops- great locations. During the sunset and way back we had live music, the lady sang romantic songs and made the time a bit more special.

Trip was lovely, crew on boat friendly. Enjoyed the lenght and swim stops and great having a singer for the sunset. My only problem was when coach picked us up no tui rep on board to tell us what to do. Coach driver didn't speak and when we arrived a whole coach of us got out and just stood with no guidance in a very busy port. Driver shut door no one came to meet us. Eventually we all choose to walk and found a tui rep who then directed us.

De tour ging langs prachtige cliffen en grotten. Hier werd ook met gepaste snelheid gevaren. Er werd uitleg gegeven over wat we zagen door de gids. Ze was wel zeer slecht te verstaan door beschadigde stem (rokersstem). De beide zwemlocaties waren prachtig. De kapitein ging eerst even vlak voor de 2 rotsen in het water liggen, hier kon je de ondergaande zon goed zien. Daarna ging hij wat verder weg liggen om iedereen de kans te geven een foto te maken. Op de terug weg een glas bubbels.

Het was een mooie sunset cruise, veel mooie dingen gezien. Glas cava was leuk, de zangeres, wat een prachtstem!! Reisleiding: vrouw was zeer onduidelijk, zeer hese stem waardoor je haar niet kon horen. Ze kwam achteraf wel naar ons om terug te vertellen maar heb daar amper/niks van verstaan. De boottocht kon wel wat anders ingedeeld worden, als je aan de L-kant zat zag je niks van de mooie omgeving. De boot draaide ook niet voor die kant het te laten zien. Schip was wel goed

Super leuke boot Niet al te groot minder dan 60 personen aan boord Dus kon het goed zien leuke zwemstops Er worden ‘romantische nummers ‘ gezongen tijdens zonsondergang Wat minder was is info over eten , aangezien wij bijvoorbeeld rond 17.00 uur werden opgehaald en ze hadden het over snacks aan boord is het wel alleen drinken , chips , choco dan iets meer info geven dat er geen echt eten aanwezig is ook terug ben je dan rond 23.00. Weer terug

Great to have a singer and the prosecco was a nice touch but a full glass would be better value! The swim spots and the tour information was great and the spot for the sunset lovely. It would be better if it were adult only and everyone stayed sat down.

The captin timed the arrival to the sunset perfectly and having a singer on the boat topped it off wonderfully, setting the romantic scene with a good choice of songs. We chose to do this trip on our final day and it finished it off perfectly.

Felt like a lot of time wasted 2 swim stops seemed to just be to spin it out. boat had nowhere for swimming to leave belongings securely, - had to leave bag lying if i wanted to swim. There were no handrails to get back up onto the boat, did not enjoy experience at all. The music offered wasn't authentic, I expected traditional Greek not a brittish girl singing.

Oppaan toiminta kylmällä meriretkellä oli palelevien matkustajien hyvinvoinnista piittaamatonta. Laiva pysähtyi kahdesti liian pitkäksi aikaa, matkustajat palelivat oppaan ja miehistön ollessa lämpimässä hytissä. Opas myös hyvin niukasti selitti kohdetta. Kauhein retki ikinä!!!

Overall, the cruise was a lovely experience! We were picked up from outside our hotel, and then had only a short bus journey to Agios Sostis. The cruise itself was beautiful, and our TUI guide kept us well informed as to the history of the gorgeous surroundings. We stopped off for a swim just before sunset, which was a perfect way to cool off from the heat of the day! I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting the south of the island.

Had a fantastic trip, good weather, swimming in lovely clear warm sea. Sunset was beautiful. Only thing that annoys but can't be changed is time from hotel to harbour, would be good to give estimates for that on site.

De boottocht was leuk en ook de uitleg van de gids werd geapprecieerd.Echter werd het ons bij de boeking in het hotel,door de gids ter plaatse, niet verteld dat er ook een stop zou zijn om te zwemmen en te snorkelen. Jammer, want dat hadden we heel leuk gevonden maar we hadden dus geen zwemkleding of snorkel bij. Wat we ook spijtig vonden,was dat bij het terugvaren de muziek loeihard stond en het geen gepaste muziek was.

Kohdetta markkinointiin romanttisena pienenä risteilynä. Ihmiset eivät myöskään tienneet minkälainen risteily on koska puolet olivat gaalavaatteissa ja puolet uikkareissa. Laiva oli myös aivan liian täyteen ahdettu ja siinä istuttiin kuin sillit purkissa ja liikkuminen oli vaikeata. Auringonlasku oli hieno, mutta musiikkia soitettiin lopussa aivan liian lujalla. Matka kesti myös 5 tuntia ja ei ole OK kirjoittaa, että kestäisi 2-4h. Loppukohde Mithrisin kalliot oli hieno.

There were two stops for a chance to swim in the sea however there were no details saying to bring your bathing suites, towels etc so a lot of us were fully dressed and therefore unable to go into the sea. Please update this so people don't miss out in future.

We felt this excursion was sold as a romantic evening on a traditional Greek boat Instead it was a normal packed boat trip of an evening rather than a day boat trip - only one communal toilet working for all those on board - left on a very hot coach as boat hadn’t arrived guide/ driver wanders off unsure of what was happening - very slippery floor when wet after swim - otherwise the sunset was stunning but overall a bit disappointing

The bus trip was a little warm as the air conditioning was not brilliant,on arrival the bus driver got off and left a bus load of people onboard for at least 20 mins,boiling hot,fortunately a woman got up and opened the doors to let us off,bus driver was not happy,the boat trip itself was fine but the guide script was not the best,traditional Greek boat ? I dont know what one is but this particular one was like any other,enjoyed the scenery and the sites but the organisation needs some work 7 ou

Het was geweldig, iedereen was vriendelijk. De gids was voor ons alleen niet-betaalde verstaan door het geluid van de motor, drankjes etc best erg aan de prijs. Dat is het enigste negatieve wat ik kan zeggen, het was magisch

To start with the guide was late and we were sat on the coach with no air con for 2 hours, the traditional Greek caique boat is not what we were on. No one sign posted is to our boat and there were queues for several boats and would be easy to get lost. We didn’t get to see any turtles as the sea had so many boats whizzing around. However, it was a lovely boat ride and we were able to rescue people from another boat, the staff were friendly and the sunset made the trip worth a go.

Ausflug eigentlich mit vielen sehr schönen Momenten und echt tollen Motiven, aber auch mit vielen kleinen Mankos .....Zu viele Menschen an Bord des Schiffes und unter einem traditionellen Griechischem Boot stelle ich mir etwas anderes vor. Leider keine Info das bei dieser Tour auch 2 Badestops dabei sind schade! Infos des Guides auf dem Boot nicht zu verstehen da Boot sehr laut....auch hier sehr schade ...

Eerst werden allemaal mensen uit verschillende hotels opgehaald. Dan ging je op de boot en was er een Engelstalige gids bij. Ze vertelde niet zo veel. Er was 2x een zwemstop. Zonsondergang was mooi. Ook nog de maanopkomst gezien als een rode bal. Aan het einde een beker bubbels. Op zich oke, maar te duur voor wat je krijgt.

The scenery and sunset was breathtaking as we were so lucky with the clear skies with the added bonus of seeing a beautiful full crimson moon. A fantastic and romantic experience that both my wife and I were blown away by this spectacular experience on our 30th wedding anniversary. Thank you Greece and thanks TUI for making yet more memories.

We were picked up on time but didn't have a TUI rep on our coach so when we arrived at harbour we had to wait around for the rep to arrive on another coach. It was very hot so they let us get on the boat & wait for her. After that everything was fine, the sound system on the boat wasn't the best but overall a great experience.

Rigtig god tur med båd på havet omkring syd og vest Zakynthos. Måske lidt svært at se solnedgangen grundet mange ombord Noget svært at høre guiderne i mikrofonen ombord
