Van grote stad tot schilderachtig wit dorp: je ziet beide kanten van het leven aan de Costa del Sol. In Malaga shop je naar hartenlust en verken je de historische oude wijk. Of je bezoekt een van de vele kunstmusea. In Mijas slenter je relaxt door de met bloemen omzoomde straten. En je geniet van het uitzicht op zee. Antonio, een van onze lokale gidsen, zegt: "De kathedraal van Malaga is een must-see. Al was het maar om de met de hand gebeeldhouwde koorbanken. Er zouden eigenlijk twee torens gebouwd worden, maar het geld voor de bouw ging naar Amerikaanse revolutionairen. De tweede toren is daarom nooit afgemaakt. Dus nu noemen de inwoners de kathedraal liefkozend "La Manquita" - de eenarmige dame”.Eerst ga je naar Malaga, waar je al snel zult zien dat dit een stad in opkomst is. De kronkelende straten zijn bezaaid met tapasbars en historische monumenten. En in het vernieuwde havengebied, Muelle Uno, vind je nog veel meer stijlvolle plekken voor een drankje of een hapje. Je hebt de tijd aan jezelf om het Centre Pompidou te bezoeken, te shoppen in de designerwinkels van Calle Larios of kunsttentoonstellingen te bezichtigen. Pablo Picasso is in Malaga geboren en in de buurt van het Romeinse theater is er een museum vol werken van deze beroemde kunstenaar.In de namiddag doe je het rustiger aan in het schilderachtige bergdorp Mijas. Je kuiert door slaperige geplaveide straten en slaat handgemaakte keramiek in. Ook kun je een van de kleinste chocoladefabrieken ter wereld bezoeken. Als je genoeg hebt rondgesnuffeld in de boetiekjes en achterafstraatjes kun je een pauze inlassen in een café. Of geniet bij een van de panoramische uitkijkpunten van het uitzicht op de kust.

Everything was pretty good ! It was just the food. If it was supposed to be hot it wasn't it was very luke warm . Which was ashame as the choice was excellent. Overall a really good holiday.

Our tour took place on a very wet day. It was torrential rain all day, forecasted the previous day. The village had very few areas to shelter from the rain other than bars and the museum. Although you could see that the village was beautiful it was very difficult to appreciate it in the rain. On that basis, either this part of the trip should have been cancelled or the clients should have been asked it they wanted to reduce the time here.

Sehr schön war das malerische Dorf Mijas. Von 3 erlebten Tagesfahrten war diese die beste und schönste Malaga ist auch sehenswert, man hätte ein wenig mehr Zeit gebraucht, um noch mehr zu sehen. Die Reisebegleitung und der Fahrer, beide top. Endlich hat man deutsch gut verstanden und die Erklärungen zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Gegebenheiten waren präzise, unterhaltsam und nicht ermüdend.👍👍

We were told we would have 2 hours in Malaga, then go to Mijas after for the remaining time to have a quiet time and have lunch. This was not the case we only had 1.45 hours in Mijas which wasn't long to have a look around. Then we went to Malaga for the remaining time. This wasn't what we expected for the day very disappointing.

Mijas and Málaga are so different but each with great appeal. Our guide Carmen was super, very informative, helpful and friendly - we couldn't have hoped for a better guide. Placido was an excellent driver. It was a lovely trip and we would highly recommend it. There wasn't really anything we didn't like.

Unfortunately we couldn't attend through illness. Paid 24hrs prior in cash. Then told that refund policy is cancellation within 7 days, so basically once you've paid if your there for a week, you are not entitled to any refund €147 lost!!

Very much enjoyed Mijas. Malaga was disappointing but for the visit to the port which should be its main attraction. The tourist guide was excellent and was very knowledgeable and attentive to our care and safety.

An earlier start would have been better to be able to spend more time in each location. Or do this as two separate trips so there is plenty of time to explore and soak in the atmosphere. Enjoyable day had, although slightly rushed.

The trip was good but the constant delivery of information by the guide, first in English and the I German was quite nauseating. If it had only been in one language (English in our case) I think it would have been better. I will not be taking any further trips of a similar nature with TUI.

Enjoyed the locations visited. The guide (Max) was unless. Poor information given and was read out from Goggle or equivalent. Used English and broken German, which the Germans on board couldn’t understand. .Found our own way around Malaga as most people did.. The lack of local knowledge shown by the guide was embarrassing.

We would have liked more time in mijas. Chocolate factory was fab but then didn’t have time for anything else. My husband finds it hard to walk so we lost the guide in Malaga so ended up sitting in a cafe for an hour while working out how to get back to the coach

Leider hat der Guide sehr schlecht deutsch gesprochen. Mehr oder weniger alles abgelesen und hat sich am Schluss für den Ausflug nach Málaga und Rhonda, obwohl es Mijas war, bedankt, da wie gesagt alles abgelesen war und er leicht zerstreut wirkte. Um einen 1. Eindruck von Málaga zu bekommen, war die Tour gut, und Mijas einfach traumhaft schön. Nur leider ist die Zeit für beide Aufenthalte viel zu kurz. Der Busfahrer George ist Top, ausgezeichnet und umsichtig gefahren.

The guide hardly spoke. Always read from his phone. We stopped en route to view Malaga from a platform but failed to tell us it was a very difficult walking route with either a steep slope or steps. No idea why he went there. and several passengers had to give up. He could see they walked with sticks. Arrived at Malaga He did not have a map to indicate where we were. He was showing folks on his phone. We went with him to see the Roman ruins and market but lost him soon after. So gave up

Das Dorf war sehr schön und interessant. Die Führerin Barbara auch sehr kompetent und gut. Was mir nicht gefallen hat, der kurze Aufenthalt in Malaga, wo man sich selber erst einmal selbst zurecht finden musste und nur wenig Zeit hatte. Daher würde ich diese Kombination nicht mehr wählen bzw. empfehlen. Man sollte dies getrennt anbieten und vlt mit einer Führung in Malaga anbieten.

Mijas is a beautiful village and there is lots to see and enjoy. I would have preferred 3 hours there and only 2 hours in Malaga which was a busy and bustling place with little to interest us. We found it difficult to fill 3 hours in the area we were taken to. Our guide was efficient and her commentary was informative.

The whole day was good, but a bit long. Would have preferred the 3 hours in Mijas rather than Malaga. A half day to mijas would be good option rather than combining with visit to Malaga.

Everything was good except we could have done with 3 hours in Mijas and 2 hours in Malaga ,instead it was the reverse. Everyone on the tour was saying that. Malaga is too big a city just to be told to come back to the coach in 3 hours. Most people had not been to Malaga before and although the guide that took us walked with us from where coach parked to the old town centre we really could have done with an hours guided tour in such an historical place. Everyone wanted to stay longer in Mijas .

The guide Michelle & the driver were first class! The whole experience to Mijas Pueblo & Malaga were both wonderful. We were given just the right amount of time to explore Mijas. The knowledge from our guide was excellent & the welcome we received was genuine. We felt very safe on the bus travelling & also when we got to our Malaga destination the pick up point was very easy.

Der Bus sollte um 09:10 Uhr kommen, war 10 Minuten zu früh und ist dann auch früher losgefahren. Zum Glück, waren wir ein bisschen vor der Zeit. Die Fahrt nach Mijas und zurück nach Malaga war von der Zeit okay. In Malaga hätten wir noch eine Stunde mehr Aufenthalt gebrauchen können. Gut war, dass wir auf eigene Faust und nicht als Gruppe unterwegs waren. Die Reiseleiterin hat uns auf der Busfahrt mit vielen Informationen versorgt

Gebucht war eine Tagestour nach Malaga. Die Tour führte zunächst nach Mijas wo wir einen sehr langen Aufenthalt (zwei Stunden) hatten. Schwerpunkt der Reise sollte ja Malaga sein. In Malage wurden wir von Reiseführer auf einem Platz geführt und hatten zweieinhalb Stunden Zeit bis zur Rückfahrt. Keine Stadtrundfahrt, keine Stadtführung. Wir hatten gerade mal Zeit einmal zum Hafen zu gehen und im Stehen am Römischen Theater ein Schinkenbrötchen zu essen. Um 17 Uhr waren wir wieder im Hotel.

Diese Tour sollte wirklich wie auch schon in anderen Bewertungen gelesen, anders herum gestaltet werden. Ein Aufenthalt in Mirja ist viel zu kurz um die ganze Schönheit des Dorfes zu erleben. Das artet schon in Stress aus, was man im Urlaub nicht haben möchte. Hier ist es so schön und man möchte gerne länger verweilen. Der Aufenthalt in Malaga war ok, jedoch ist man völlig überfordert wo man hinlaufen soll. Im Prinzip war das alles eine Busfahrt mit ein bisschen Informationen.

Am Flughafen in Malaga konnte niemand von tui deutsch wir wurden in ein Bus gesteckt und wurden nicht zum hotel gefahren statt um 14uhr waren wir dann um 16uhr im hotel. Als wir einen Ausflug nach Midas und Malaga buchten wurde uns nichts gesagt dass er nur auf englisch ist sehr schön da wir kein englisch können Das ist ein no go Sehr entäuschend Aber wenigstens ist das hotel top

Je krijgt een plannetje van Mijas en je hebt twee uur vrij. De gids kan toch ook de tour doen met de personen die willen meegaan.Geen Nederlandstalige gids zoals beloofd. In Malaga rondrit waar niet veel te zien was.Dan afgezet aan het romeins theater en trek uw plan voor twee uur.Er was beloofd de overdekte markt te bezoeken en rit met hop en off bus.

Fijne stad Malaga om te bezoeken met zijn mooie gebouwen. Spijtig dat de Nederlandstalige gids alleen in het Engels uitleg gaf en verder weinig betrokkenheid toonde.

De gids hield maar niet op met praten. Ging vooral over irrelevante zaken, zoals haar priveleven en mening. We hadden meer begeleiding verwacht. Bestond alleen uit het uitdelen van een citymap. We zijn anders gewend van excursies van Tui

Eine wirklich tolle Reiseleiterin. Michelle ist so sympathisch und wir hatten einen tollen Tag. Neben den allgemeinen Informationen gab sie viele Tipps über die Region. Selbst persönliche Anekdoten von ihr versüßten den Tag. Vielen Dank für alles ??????

De trip na MIJAS erg leuk en goed dat we een plattegrond kregen. Malaga daar in tegen kregen we geen plattegrond wat in z.n grote stad lastig maakt. Daarbij was de verwachting dat we in de stad ook korte rondleiding zouden krijgen.Je wordt afgezet op punt en daar wordt je weer opgehaald.

Es hat uns gut gefallen. Der Guide hätte gerne noch viel mehr erzählen können über Malaga. Mehr Geschichte, Themen die die Einwohnenden betreffen.(Bisschen über Anzahl der Museen,warum es so viele unterschiedliche Bauten gibt, was das gerade für ein Viertel ist,wo man durchfährt, wieviel Leute in der Tourismusbranche arbeiten) Einfach ein wenig Hintergrundwissen.Muss ja nichts negatives sein aber einzelne Facts wären super.Die Zeit war definitiv nicht ausreichend in Malaga.Wir hatten ca. 2 Std.

This was one of the few experiences with hotel pick-up in Nerja. It was a great introduction to Mijas and Malaga. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept up a running commentary in both English and German. We liked the short walking tours which helped with our orientation and the maps given to us were very useful. Would definitely recommend.

Dejligt, at høre noget om Andalusien, som vores guide fortalte os om under transporttiden. Om muligheder og betingelser om bl.a. dyrkning af frugter mv. Guidet tur i både Mijas og Malaga var en fin intro til det, vi senere selv kunne finde tilbage til og udforske. Tak for en fin tur. Hilsen Palle og Gerda

Liked having the choice of a guided tour or just free time to explore. Liked going direct to Mijas and Malaga, I particularly dislike stopping at tourist traps and factory outlets so this excursion was perfect. If there is one minor dislike maybe a little less commentary on the bus. A little info is great but too much is tedious
