Zie je het al voor je? Galopperen over het gouden zand van de stranden van Boa Vista met de wind in je haren. Je hebt de keuze uit een rit van een uur voor beginners en een rit van 90 minuten inclusief draf en galop voor meer ervaren ruiters. Of een romantische rit voor stellen, inclusief maximaal 30 minuten in stap tempo en tijd om samen van een fles wijn te genieten op een zandduin. Deze excursie brengt je op een milieuvriendelijke manier weer in contact met de natuur.De open stukken strand die zich een weg banen langs de kustlijn van Boa Vista zijn de perfecte omgeving voor een rit te paard. Laat de zeewind waaien terwijl je over het zand galoppeert en vanaf jouw nieuwe, hogere uitkijkpunt de panorama's in je opneemt.Je krijgt een paard in de stallen en alle uitrusting die je nodig hebt om te rijden. Deze tocht is geweldig voor zowel volwassenen als kinderen, zodat het hele gezin meekan, of je maakt er een romantische tocht voor twee van.

Der Transfer durch TUI hat mir gut gefallen. Gut: daß die Pferde gut gepflegt waren, daß es eine Gewichtsbeschränkung für die Reiter gab, und daß nach Anfängern und Fortgeschrittenen aufgeteilt wurde. Weniger gut: keine Prüfung der Reitkenntnisse. Einzige Frage: "Galopp?" Nicht gut: daß es zwar eine englischsprachige Tour war, aber der Guide kaum engl. sprach u mit dem anderen Gast italienisch sprach, während ich auf meinem Pferd nur hinterher trottete u weitestgehend ignoriert wurde

The host barely gave us any instruction on what to do with a horse especially as we told him we had never been on a horse before. He told us in less than a minute (whilst already sat on the horse) pull this way, go this way, pull one way, go that way, pull both hands to stop. My partner then got on a horse that was kicking and neighing, asked to swap horses and was told it was because of “the flies”. The instructor then walked the entire journey holding the reins. Was not exactly a great time.

The horses appeared to be well fed and in good condition and generally well cared for. We did a short ride along the beach and it was truly wonderful. Having never ridden a horse before I was completely thrilled… loved it and we’re going to book to do it again..

Trip was booked for 15.40. After waiting for 30min and no transport had arrived I asked manager of hotel to contact the rep who told us transport had broken down so we're running late. At 16.30 still no transport had arrived, again hotel manager phoned the rep and we were told the 2nd vehicle had also broken down which is hard to believe for a company like TUI whose vehicles should always be road worthy. Re-booked trip for 3days later, hopefully transport will arrive as not to waste more time

Enjoyed the actual horse ride. The guides were friendly. However, we booked with Tui rep and time was for 4pm pick up, we got there by 4.15 but then told time should have been 5.30 so had to wait an hour and 15 mins. Also considering I paid nearly double for a ‘romantic ride’ the only difference was just two of us instead of a group and 15 mins with a bottle of champagne and a bowl of grapes so not really good value for money at all !!

The actual horse was beautiful. The staff were great. However if your looking at booking this with TUI there is No pick up transport. We were told to go to wrong place and nearly didn't make it. You have to walk right up to the big roundabout out side RIU PALACE and NOT just at the security gate. There is no PICK UP TRANSPORT as described. The horses are in a field opposite a big bus stop outside The RIU palace hotel. Lucky for us the horses waited. Beautiful day

Wij kozen de 1,5 uur buitenrit voor gevorderden. De gids sprak nauwelijks Engels, gaf ons geen enkele uitleg en had weinig oog voor veiligheid. Ik ga vaker paardrijden op vakantie en ben anders gewend. De rit zelf was prachtig, door de duinen en over het strand met als bonus een keiharde rengalop! Boek de gevorderdenrit dus alleen als je een zelfverzekerde ruiter bent die niet bang is voor wat risico ?? Je krijgt een cap maar verder niets, dus neemt eventueel chaps of rijlaarzen mee.

De gids sprak heel slecht Engels en legde weinig uit, het paardrijden was wel echt voor gevorderde terwijl er in de groep ook mensen bij zaten die het slecht konden Vond het zelf leuk maar begeleiding was erg mager en zonder uitleg

I did a 90 min ride, I haven’t ridden since 2019 but have been riding all my life, I was worried about the welfare of the horses but they where very well looked after, tack was clean, saddle very comfortable. I had the best 90 mins horse back riding i can ever remember , the guide Fabricio was fantastic, he rode extremely well, he took pictures and video of us riding.They supply hates with hairnets to keep the hats clean and the hats fit all . I’m definitely going back next year. Thank you

The horses were well looked after and the experience overall was very good, i ended up doing this twice so that tells you something. The description of the ride itself has to be updated. We had one rider who wasn’t able to gallop and this affected the ride. Please make it clear it’s for experienced rides not intermediate As an experienced rider myself it was an amazing experience and the guys that run it were very clear about what the ride would involve and I loved it.

I was put on the lead horse and then the guide proceeded to hold my horses halter the entire time- bar stopping for some photos - and a short maybe 1 minute at the end. This is not what was anticipated - I have never had this anywhere horse riding before and it was also not the experience anyone else in the group had- they were all riding unaided and free.

I did the 90 minute intermediate ride and enjoyed it thoroughly! The horses were just lovely, very well cared for and happy. The gallops along the beach were just something else! I will be definitely going again when we go back to Cape Verde next year :)

Jättetrevlig ridtur men härliga galopper över sanddynorna! Trevlig kille som hade hand om turen, hjälpsam och frågade flera ggr om allt var ok. Hästarna var välskötta och ” skötte sitt jobb”. Enda att anmärka på var att ridhjälmarna upplevdes som ganska slitna, min passade inte speciellt bra och han hade bara med sig två hjälmar ( vi var 2 pers) . Men rekommenderar varmt ridturen!!

Trotzt Hinweis auf beginner, wurde der ausflug für fortgeschrittene mit angeboten. Aufgefallen ist das erst sehf kurz vor dem Ausflug. Die Guide haben das beste vor Ort draus gemacht.

Amazing riding experience in a picturesque setting with great riding guide. Second time this year riding at Boa Vista with this riding team. I ride every week at home and found the ride a great length and route for an experienced rider. Galloping was great and Fabricio the riding guide made sure everything was under control. Definitely do not book intermediate ride if you are not a strong experienced rider as a couple on my second ride were out of their depths. Amazing once again will be back

Loved my ride along the beach. I think it would be good to have another category for riders who can trot and canter. I couldnt go in the intermediate ride as I was asked if I could gallop which was a definite no. But the beginners was just walking. So another category for those with some experience would be nice.

Haven’t ridden for over 40 years and went for intermediate ride and it was absolutely amazing. Had several gallops through the dunes and along the shore line and it was truly wonderful. I had the biggest smile on my face throughout the whole 90 minutes. Would highly recommended ??

Die Pferde sind alle gut gepflegt und fit. Der Ausritt war entspannt mit wenigen Teilnehmern und tollen Galoppstrecken. Bei Fortgeschritten sollte man aber fit sein und reiten können,denn der Galopp ist schon flott und geht sowohl über Sandstrecken,als auch am Strand entlang. Ich finde es gut,dass es eine Gewichtsbeschränkung gibt,da die Pferde doch relativ schlank und nicht so groß sind (englisches Vollblut). Alles in allem ein toller Ausritt.

Die Pferde standen in der prallen Sonne an einem Zaun angebunden. Und sahen auch nicht so gut aus. Mein Pferd war schon ein richtiger Opi, sehr dünn und zottelig.. Die Helme waren viel zu groß. Und die Guides konnten kaum Englisch.

This was a fantastic ride. Be prepared for a halt straight to gallop so if your not ready for that then maybe beginners would be more suited. Guide didn't speak alot of English but enough to check we were happy. Stunning views and walk throu crystal clear waters. Lovely ride. We were initially told that ride had been cancelled as needed at least 3 so we paid for 3rd but went just the 2 of us and it was well worth it. Our guide even carried our water in his rucksack.

Es hat unheimlich viel Spaß gemacht. Die Guides haben sehr auf die Sicherheit geachtet und man war als Anfänger nicht alleine. Zudem haben sie einen ermutigt auch ohne Hilfe das Pferd zu führen. Ich würde es immer wieder buchen und empfehlen.

The horse riding experience in cape verde was amazing, staff were professional and made sure we were OK, the only thing I didn't like was their saddle was a bit uncomfortable, it felt like the saddle was pushing me forward which it gave me a back ache. But overall the ride was fun. Would recommend the horse riding.

Pick up point on ticket was roundabout, thats all it said. We waited outside our hotel where the roundabout is and no one turned up. Finally found a rep who told us the horses are down by the hotel next door, so ridicolous when your informed otherwise. Young boy was with horses, gave us paper to sign saying we had been told the rules, when we asked the boy what the rules were he didnt know what we were asking. Horse ride was through a tip of a road then 10 mins along beach.

Great opportunity for experienced rider but the instructions need to be much clearer. Says intermediate but ride includes several gallops this should be clear in instructions.. Also wear leggings and there is no where to leave bag etc so you need to carry everything on horse so pack light. Remember to take some apples for horses - their diet is very restricted . Daughter loved it !

Great team of guides/instructors who really care about their horses which are well cared for. Riding in the sea was amazing! My horse was very placid and responsive. Plagued by mosquitos so take plenty of insect repellent. Would go again if I were here longer.

This was a lovely experience, quite a bit of sitting around waiting as they were late turning up with the horses and then didn’t bring enough horses or helmets. The guides had very poor level of English and even basic instructions for how to handle the horses was difficult to interpret. A beautiful trot along the surf however but expensive for what it is and offered cheaper through local services which had I had known I would not have booked through TUI

De tour geboekt voor wat wij vinden een vrij groot bedrag omdat wij met zijn 2en een leuke rit wilde maken als ervaren ruiters. Hebben wij een minimale bigennerstour gehad van ik denk ca. 3 a 4 km. Over het strand met alleen stappen. Dit valt er tegen daar kunnen de mensen bij de paarden wijzig aan doen maar wel aan hoe TUI het brengt. Schandalig hoe ze deze rit verkopen voor het geld da TUI ervoor vraagt

Fabrizio was well informed of the area, and knew a lot about the horses. Considering I was very nervous, he kept me calm which worked really well with then controlling horses. The experience was well worth the money and better to do early in the morning when their is less heat.

Mein absolutes Highlight in diesem Urlaub. Es war richtig schön, meine Tochter und ich hatten Glück und waren alleine, es gab einige schöne Galoppstrecken und die Pferde hatten richtig Spaß daran zu laufen. Es wurde immer wieder gefragt ob alles ok ist und man ist auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen.

Den Ausritt für Fortgeschrittene sollten wirklich nur Reiter buchen, die gut reiten können, eine gute Fitness haben und gerne galoppieren. Auf jeden Fall sollte man eine lange Hose tragen. Dann macht der Ausflug richtig viel Spaß. Man reitet durch die Dünen und am Strand entlang.

I was met on time and signed a waiver. Two horses were available and as I am very close to the maximin weight I assumed I’d be given the larger horse. I was not and spent the ride worrying that I was too heavy for the horse I was given. The guide helped me mount and dismount and I was given a hairnet to put on under the hard hat. The horse seemed well cared for and relaxed. She walked through the sea water quite happily and was much quicker when she knew she was going home!

Me and my two children 10 and 8 booked the beginners horse riding in Boa Vista, the guide was friendly and helpful and the experience was lovely. We had an hours walk along the beach, he helped take some photos for us which was really nice. My husband didn’t ride but came along for the walk

Toller Ausritt am Strand! Die Pferde warteten direkt hinter unserem Hotel – kein Transfer nötig. Nach einer kurzen Einweisung ging es über Dünen zum Strand. Die Pferde waren gepflegt, die Gruppe klein, die Guides freundlich und auf Sicherheit sowie Hygiene wurde geachtet. Es wurden schöne Fotos gemacht. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis für meinen Sohn (4) und mich– sehr empfehlenswert!

Helm wurde mit Schutznetz für die Haare bereitgestellt. Wir hatten die Anfänger Tour. Gemütliches reiten, den Strand entlang. Wir waren in Summe zu viert und hatten zwei Betreuer. Meine Tochter ist 6 Jahre und durfte alleine auf'n Pferd reiten. Einer der Betreuer war immer bei ihr. Anweisungen waren klar und auch für Leute die nicht gut Englisch können sehr verständlich. Wir blieben zweimal stehen und die Betreuer machten Fotos mit unsere Handys. Traumhaft Kulissen. Pferde sahen gesund aus

As a beginner and first timer, I felt the staff were kind and considerate. They taught me all thar I needed for the experience before we set off. I felt safe with one horseman riding in front and one horseman to the rear and one man walking beside me and the horse I was on. I had a smile on may face throughout.

We did the romantic sunset horse ride for two and it was a fabulous trip definitely the highlight of our visit. My husband does not ride so was rather apprehensive but he was looked after perfectly and made to feel safe at all times. Sidnei and the team really care about the horses and were great fun to be with. If you are going to Cape Verde this is something you really do not want to miss.

Ein sehr schöner Ausritt. Preis-Leistung passt auf jeden Fall. Wir haben den Fortgeschrittenen-Ausritt gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir durften Traben und auch richtig schnell galoppieren. Der Guide war sehr bemüht und hat sich immer wieder erkundigt, ob alles ok ist. Tolles Erlebnis direkt am Meer - das Highlight unseres Urlaubs!

Enjoyed the freedom to ride in the desert and beach. Opportunities to gallop and take it easy to take in the .views. No where to leave any belonging so advised to take a small back pack or pouch to keep with you.

Es war eine Stunde f. Fortgeschrittene u. das ist ernst zu nehmen. Es war eine homogene Gruppe mit ähnlichem Leistungsstand, ausgiebige Galoppstrecken! Ein Traum am Strand im Wasser. Aber auch Dünen rauf und runter. Grandios! Der Guide war nett, hatte das Ganze gut im Griff und im Überblick. Beim Auf- und Abstieg viele betreuende Mitarbeiter. Auch sehr schnell zur Stelle bei einem Zwischenfall (zu Beginn beim Ritt größerer Stein in Huf getreten,sofort kam Jeep für Hilfe Hufkratzer) Gerne wieder!

Nous avons réservé 90 minutes pour 65€/pers et l'activité à durée 60 minutes . Or il y avait une balade de 60 minutes à 45€/pers. Cela n'est pas du tout correct . Vous nous avez arnaquer de 40€ en tout pour 2 personnes. De plus le personnel de l'équitation était désagréable. Merci de revenir vers moi pour un dédommagement de l'activité

I took my daughter, we both ride and own horses at home, but she has never galloped (haven’t a horse suitable) she experienced this on this ride, the horses were safe, well kept, and a massive respect for their animals, well cared for, the views were spectacular and the guide very friendly, so much so I will be booking again before I leave Boa Vista :)

Original time was cancelled so it was re-booked a couple of days later for 9:40 which we didn't mind. Turned up at 9:35 and the excursion guy had already left. Didn't even bother finding us checking if we are in our rooms etc. We were there on time as the ticket stated 9:40...we went 5 minutes earlier than needed. in the end asked for a refund. tui as a whole Is amazing I cant fault then theor service the people etc. But this paticular excursion ruined our morning

Excellent experience, the staff looked after me from start to finish, I went alone so I was a little nervous. The horses seemed well cared for and healthy. The staff explained everything and helped me mount and dismount a I haven’t been riding for over 20years. The staff took photos of me, which I was delighted about and this was all planned into the experience. I would highly recommend this trip.

The horses were fit, well cared for and well behaved You need to be an experienced rider who is confident galloping in open spaces Titling the ride as for intermediate riders risks people signing up who are not experienced enough There was a young girl on my ride who was frightened after a long canter which meant she didn’t want to go fast The guide did let me gallop ahead but it meant I missed out on the fast paced ride I was looking forward to The guide suggested this happens quite a lot

This horse riding was absolutely amazing. Considering I was unsure I really enjoyed it. The staff were excellent and keep asking us if we were ok. The scenery was lovely and our horses were well looked after and very good behaviour. It was such an enjoyable experience, so relaxing with a feeling of freedom in beautiful Boa Vista, I just love it here ??

Glaidey was an excellent instructor and guide. He put safety first but ensured I had an exhilarating ride. He was good company with a great sense of humour. The horse provided was suitable for my level of ability.
