The wine tasting was nice, disappointed the TUI guide led us through the wine tasting reading from the label on the bottle. On arrival at Argostoli there was an implied recommendation of the following restaurant Kalafatis. Unfortunately we did eat there, only then did we check the reviews. We do not expect to be given a TUI recommendation of a restaurant that can barely manage 2 and half stars across many review sites. The final insult was the coach driver using his phone whilst driving.

We were disappointed with the restaurant we were recommended. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful, especially with helping with gluten free options. Charged us for bread we didn't have. Otherwise the evening was excellent - plenty of time to shop and explore. The guide took us around for a little while to get our bearings, which was really useful.

The organisation at the wine tasting was average and you got 1 mouthful of wine per bottle so 4 mouthfuls of wine in total, less than a quarter of a glass in total. What was stranger was that the TUI rep was giving the overviews of the wines, no criticism of her but she was just reading from a guide verbatim. The guide was really knowledgeable in relation to the island, not the wines and was desperately trying to sell a specific restaurant in Argostali. Cheaper than a taxi from Skala so good.

An very pleasant evening. The wine tasting was enjoyable and it was good to have an dinner and an evening in Argostoli. The guide was excellent and the only downside was that the number of pick-ups on the way from where we were staying in Skala, which meant the journey to the winery was long and slow.

The guide Wendy was informative and helpful, the guided tour around Argostoli was interesting and Wendy let us know where she would be in case she was needed. The visit to Argostoli was worthwhile, with time to sight see and have a meal. Wine tasting was a bit disappointing, a bit rushed and we didn't really find out much about the vineyards or the Robolla history, we would have liked to have gone straight to Argostoli to spend more time there. Wendy made it as interesting as possible.

As with most other tours, the guide walked ahead far too fast for pensioners etc to keep up and therefore could not hear many of the instructions and info. She was gone into the distance as we were still getting off the coach. The info on the journey was brilliant and enjoyable.

Tui rep and coach driver very friendly,helpful and professional. Wine tasting fun and interesting. Not enough time at agostolli. Wish trip start time was two hrs earlier then would be light enough to see the turtles in harbour and have longer to eat and shop too

The guide was reading from notes when talking to us, I expect guides to know their stuff. The wine tasting was not good. Travelled a long way for 4 sips of not good tasting wine. Argostoli itself was worth seeing

There was no air conditioning on the coach - very uncomfortable journey to the vineyard - very disappointed with the experience at the vineyard- no seating offered with very tiny amounts of wine given (all in the same unpleasant glass) No experienced staff giving any knowledgeable information about the wine served- have been in wine tasting before and always seated with wine being poured at the table the info. Time in Argostoli was good but still cut short - overall very disappointing for €40pp

The free time in Argostoli was the highlight. The main highlight was seeing a turtle in the sea. Argostoli itself was good gift shopping destination and going in the evening was much cooler. The town square is a lovely place to stop for a drink or a meal. The wine tasting element was disappointing. The four glasses of wine we tasted were small and I felt rushed, unable to enjoy the wine tasting experience. It felt like a taste a tiny glass of wine and buy the wine from the vineyard activity.

The wine tasting. Same glass each personfor four different wines I don’t know how we we’re supposed to differentiate .. quite rushed and not what I was expecting. The wine tasting experience needs to be better it felt like the whole night was a glorified taxi to argostoli. Rep was great friendly and organised but I would not recommend.

The transport vehicle was very hot with air conditioning that wasn’t very effective. The wine tasting wasn’t great and the quality of the wine wasn’t very good. Argostoli was really good and would have been better spending more time there and not doing the wine tasting.

It was an expensive ride to and from Argostoli. The wine tasting experience was not what we thought it would be and it was not at the vineyard we expected. Apparently there was a last minute change. Based on our experience we would not recommend the trip.

Disappointed. Wine tasting was a thimbleful only and seemed mainly just for guests to buy from the winery. Once in Argostoli, the ‘guided tour’ was simply a short walk to the end of the main shopping street where we were left to our own devices. The guide recommended a restaurant which we had our dinner at. Although the meal was ok, our bill seemed too high and we had actually paid for a different table. The cashier had a heated argument with the waiter and then threw a €10 note at us for refund

The wine tasting was great and the chance to get into Argostoli for the evening was lovely. The guide recommended a beautiful little restaurant to eat which had singers and musicians who were very good. The food was good as well. We enjoyed the experience and recommend doing it

Seeing the turtle, sadly would have liked to see more. The wine tasting was good but felt it was rushed. The coach journey was much longer than expected, was told it was 45mins to the Winery but it was an hour and half. And them another 20mins to the capital. We did hace adequate tome there.

The bus journey was cramped, stuffy and long. The wine tasting was such a disappointment as it was taken by the Tui rep (Diamond) and lasted about 15 minutes as we got less than a mouthful of 4 different wines. I was expecting a sit down experience with decent samples from a professional. Appetisers would have also been nice. The evening in Argostoli ended with us seeing the restaurant pay the rep some money which made us feel stitched up about the recommended restaurant we were advised.

The Visit to Argostoli is good but the wine tasting is a waste of time. We would rather have spent that time in the Town so as to be able to walk around and have time for a meal which was somewhat rushed due to lack of time. We would have much preferred a day trip into the capital so that we could wander around and see more of the town. Then have some time for lunch and a mid afternoon drive back to Skala in time for our evening meal which we have paid for but don't get in this tour.

A great trip. Just enough time at vineyard. Wines good quality and good price. A mini tour of capital with Diamond who was friendly and knowledgeable. More than enough time for a stroll and a meal and even a drink too before heading home. Highly recommend

The tasting fees at Robola were clearly shown, and much cheaper than we paid, for more varieties of wine. Wine was ok (2 of the 4), but the tasting itself was disorganised, with too many people, and we only got a mouthful of each wine so it was a bit difficult to form an opinion. As for the tour... we basically walked along the harbour front for 15 minutes, then were directed to a "recommended restaurant" (we explored and dined elsewhere). And in pouring rain our coach driver took 7 phonecalls!

We felt time in Argostoli was limited and got there just in time to eat but then shops were shutting. Too dark to walk the road over the water or to see much of the Capital. Had we travelled there as quickly as we came back, we would have had more time to explore. The guide was informative and knowledgeable.

Found time at wine tasting very limited and a little chaotic! We had a very full coach load and although the guide was excellent there were times when it was difficult to hear all she was explaining. The samples of wine were very small and insufficient to make a desired choice. The journey to and from our destinations was excellent. Compliment s to the driver and rep Wendy.

We were fortunate to have a wonderful guide (Diamond) once again. Timings were spot-on as usual for pick-up at start and end of experience. Wine-tasting didn't last long but our stay in Argostoli, exploring the shop-lined main street was excellent. We bought most of our gifts to take home here.

The guide Diamond made the experience she is so knowledgeable. The wine tasting was very quick and would have been better if we’d had a look around rather than just giving us a small tasting and a chance to buy. It’s really a trip to Argostoli not a wine tasting experience. But saying that we enjoyed the experience and the guide was the highlight. We should have chosen our own restaurant and not gone with the one recommended as food wasn’t as good as we’d had else where.

I think the wine tasting it self could be more organised, and not so rushed. How ever the tuI rep Diomond is absolutely fantastic. She has so much knowledge and history of the Island it was fascinating to lean and listen too. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would highly recommend it.

I took my 18 & 16 yr old children on this experience and we absolutely loved it. Diamond our guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the island and made it so interesting and engaging to listen to. With a bit of humor thrown in too. The wine tasting its self was also a wonderful experience finding out about the grapes & the wines and the history too. We loved the wine so much we bought some back as presents and to consume ourselves.

The only thing I can criticise is when we booked, we were told it was wine and cheese tasting. However the Rep wasn’t particularly informative about the event. The guide Diamond was lovely. The owner at the wine place was lovely too and very informative. Plenty of time to look around Argostoli and eat.

Diamond was brilliant as a guide, the trip, wine tasting and time spent in Argostoli was very good. Although our third trip to Kefalonia it was our first trip to Argostoli. Whilst Diamond was clear to say we could eat where we pleased she highly recommended a particular restaurant which we and many other guest found to be a massive disappointment, whilst I would recommend the trip overall my advice is to avoid this particular restaurant.

Lovely evening meal by the water in Argostoli but the wine tasting element was a huge disappoitment : The vinyard the tour usually use apparently had a bad yeild so could not accomodate. So we visited a wine tasting shop ! They could not fit everyone inside so half of the group remained outside: There was no information given about the wine other than it was local to the island and its colour ! A taste was an understatement with less than 10ml in the glass. Very poor. Argostoli was lovely though

This was supposed to be a winery experience. We ended up at a Greek shop where everyone was literally hanging around for not even a mouthful of wine and not big enough for a coachload of people! We weren't told we were going to a shop until we arrived. I've never been to a winery so was particularly looking forward to this but very disappointed. Because of the shop visit we had over 3 hours of free time. There is not enough to do for 3 hours in Argostoli. Very disappointed

The wine tasting element was very disappointing. It was just a small taste of 4 fairly indifferent wines served up by the TUI rep. It would have been nice to have had a tour of the winery with the vintners rep guiding and explaining. We felt the excuse for that not happening because of the changed dynamic post Covid was a bit weak to say the least. We were also very glad that we did not dine at the taverna recommended by the rep.

The reason I have only given 8 out of 10 is purely because the wine tasting is a complete and utter waste of time, you really do not need to include it in the trip. The City made up for our visit . The scenery was beautiful and we had a lovely evening . Also would like to take the opportunity of reporting the Coach did not supply efficient air conditioning. And our transfer back when going home, to the airport was also the same coach and it was unbearable . One passenger was sick!

Enjoyed the trip. Coach very cramped & hot & air conditioning not very effective but the trip was good & enabled us to see the Capital with ease & experience the Greek culture. Guide very knowledgeable. It was much longer than advertised suggested time 2 to 4 hours but we were out over 6 hours

Diamond, the guide was excellent and we had a lovely evening - even saw a turtle! My only observation is that the recommended restaurant, although pretty good did not accept credit card payment so be prepared to take enough cash. Payment could have been made at the supermarket next door.....but cash is preferred.

I gave a 9 for security as I didn’t feel that particularly safe walking in the square . Seem to be lots of people hanging around at dusk .

Great evening nice & informal, which I was pleased with, as I was not sure about with the wine tasting part but it was handled very well by our guide and we enjoyed it. Only downside for me was the recommended restaurant the food was not very good & was not informed that they would not take card payments, so ended up running around Argostoli trying to find a bank ATM to get cash for the bill.

The trip met all our expectations and gave the opportunity to visit Argostoli where the local bus service was inconvenient The visit to the winery was fun and informative if not a little brief Time in Argostoli was adequate with more than two hours to see the shops and eat The recommended restaurant was decent value although food rather average It was however a wonderful experience sat waterside with unannounced and spontaneous live music

Our guide was a lady named Diamond. She was a superb guide and gave us a great, very informative commentary all the way to our destination. Wine tasting was good with nice quality wines. We had an experienced driver and the coach was in excellent condition. Had plenty of time to look around Argostoli without any rush. Overall, a very pleasant evening. We felt it was good value.

The tour guide Effe was very good. The wine tasting was disappointing; very brief and too many people on the tour, plus there was another event at the winery when we were there; all very noisy and busy. It needs to be made into a proper wine tasting experience with more samples, some olives, cheese etc. over a longer period. I liked Argostoli, but the recommended restaurant had one of the lowest Tripadvisor scores. We explored and chose our own. We enjoyed exploring Argostoli.

Start the tour earlier miss out the wine tasting and you may get a look at the capital in day light and be back in the hotel before 23.30.

Very long night especially the journey to Argostoli, could be a little shorter by not visiting every small village. It took 2.5 hours but in the way back only 1.

The trip was ok. The driver was good in the winding hilly roads. The guide had lots of information in a fun way. Not enough was made of the wine tasting and really the capital doesn't have much to offer. I have had better trips but this passed the evening ok.

When we booked we were told that it would approx 4 hours in the capital it ended up at under 3 hours which wasn’t long enough really - wine tasting was really a selling ploy and wasn’t really worth doing , time would of best spent in the capital .
