Salite a bordo di un comodo fuoristrada con aria condizionata e allontanatevi dai sentieri battuti per addentrarvi nell'aspro entroterra di Thassos. È qui che l'isola abbandona il suo fascino da località balneare per rivelare un lato più selvaggio, fatto di sentieri rocciosi, fitte foreste e angoli di tradizione rustica. Man mano che la strada sale, attraverserete frazioni isolate e pendii montuosi con panorami che si estendono a perdita d'occhio su tutta l'isola.La tua prima tappa è Kastro, un tranquillo villaggio in cima a una collina che sembra essere stato dimenticato dal tempo. Passeggia per gli stretti vicoli di pietra, visita la vecchia chiesa e lasciati conquistare dal fascino genuino e autentico di questo gioiello nascosto. Successivamente, dirigetevi al Monastero di Panagouda, tranquillamente annidato tra le colline. È la dimora del monaco Epifanios, che vive qui da solo da oltre 30 anni. L'ambiente è tranquillo, essenziale e profondamente radicato nel ritmo spirituale dell'isola.Poi si sale a Ipsarion, la vetta più alta di Thassos a 1204 metri. La cima offre ampie vedute aperte su tutta l'isola, il mare e persino la terraferma nelle giornate limpide. Durante la discesa, fermatevi per un pranzo leggero a base di meze tra gli alberi. Concludete la giornata con una visita al villaggio di Maries, dove potrete passeggiare per le stradine tranquille e rilassarvi nella piazza principale, magari cogliendo la luce soffusa del tramonto prima di tornare indietro.

Die Tour an sich war gut! Die Fahrt war sicher und der Guide war gut und sehr nett! Nur der letzte Stop war leider etwas enttäuschend! Da wir nur eine Micro Portion erhalten haben! Die Getränke auch noch extra! Die normalen Gäste hatten tolle Portionen!!!! Bei uns hatte ich das Gefühl das die Servicekräfte keine ********** haben! Sonst wirklich eine coole Lokation gewesen!!!

Everything was good except for the lunch. It was very very poor and not as per the voucher ticket provided by tui. No bread and water was provided either and the food was like warm so in this respect i feel we were overcharged for the trip . Also lunch was at the end of the trip (about 2.30 and we were so hungry). Should have just been taken back home to buy our own food and this would made the trip cheaper as it was expensive for the rubbish food included at the end.

The meal was terrible. The confirmation said we would have a mezza but the restaurant offered us three choices of ‘meal’ and the food was extremely poor. My wife found her meal mostly inedible and mine was just as bad. The staff at the restaurant were unfriendly and quite cold towards us. They tried to make us pay for water. This spoilt the day.

Ich habe mir im Auto meine Hose sowie meine Jacke verschmutzt, schwarze Flecken, oel oder Schmiere. Bei der Jacke gehen die Flecken trotz mehrmaliger Behandlung nicht raus, Jacke jetzt unbrauchbar.... Der Service und das Essen in Skala Maries war nicht gut, Gyros nur zähe harte Rindenstücke, und die anderen Gäste bekamen ein süßes Stück, bei unserer Gruppe blieb das aus. So etwas sieht der Gast.... Und für die Fahrt ist meiner Meinung der Preis viel zu hoch.....

Lunch was quite late, the chiice of meal was poor for anybody who doesn't like pork or fish, a chicken option might have been better, the taverna staff were great and prepared alternatives for two of our party. Overall a great day out

Vehicle unsafe. Repeatedly cutting out whilst going uphill on rocky unsafe roads. Vehicle unable to get up a hill so all passengers has to get out to enable the vehicle to Get up the hill at Ipsarion. One passenger in back of car and handbrake not on properly so vehicle started to roll back on steep hill - very dangerous! Sweltering heat and sporadic use of air conditioning. Food good at the taverna - best part of the day. Guide not really interested.

Wir hatten ursprünglich einen guten Fahrer. Als wir alle eingesammelt hatten, war bereits 1,5 h vergangen. Wir machten Fahrertausch, da der andere Fahrer deutsch sprach. Der 2. Fahrer war nicht so gut. Die Strecke war eine Zumutung, die Autos waren unbequem, die Federung schlug durch, auf dem hinteren Mittelsitz konnte man nicht vernünftig sitzen. Man wurde stark durchgeschüttelt. Meine Frau hatte dadurch Rückenschmerzen und ich Nacken- und Kopfschmerzen bekommen. Das Essen war ok, aber dürftig.

The ride through the mountains were incredible. Although for me a little nervous on certain bends on the dirt roads were you are able to see the sear drop of th cliff edge. Apart from that a spectacular experience and views.

Nikos made it special. He is such a good driver, I felt totally safe. Also the vehicle was comfortable and perfect for the off-road section. Nikos was very professional and thoughtful throughout the whole trip. I’d highly recommend this tour. The scenery was spectacular and I will always remember it.

A great day out as part of a small group tour, with fantastic views from and around the mountain. Our driver Fanis did a great job of navigating the bumpy roads and was very knowledgeable about the local area. I learned a lot about the history and culture of Thassos! Tasty taverna lunch and ice cream stop at the end of the day was a nice way to end a today out.

Fantastic experience climbing the mountain and seeing all the beautiful scenery. Visiting the Monastery was also a highlight of the day. After the tour, we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in a beautiful setting. Would certainly recommend. The tour guide was brilliant. Couldn’t faulter him at all.

Fanis has superb English, a friendly character who was very informative throughout the journey. Food at Taverna - full meal, I had the stuffed pepper , very tasty, not dry with plenty of salad. Only thing not mentioned was some form of sarong for ladies to cover legs when entering monastery. Drivers had a few but always nice to take your own!

Staff lovely, we understood snacks were available abd buffet food, 6 hours in we got lunch and 1 bottle of water between 4 of us , tho food was lovely not as expected. Ride up mountain was extremely bumpy, which was not good and not explained, before booking. Although we took water there was nowhere to get another drink until got to restaurant.

Our driver/ tour guide Fanis was absolutely amazing. Extremely knowledgeable, funny and very respectful. Treated our group (4 ladies) like queens. We had a great authentic experience. Our driver, Fanis was friendly, fun and informative. It was a full day experience with a lovely lunch and good value for money. We didn’t feel confident driving on the island and this experience allowed us to see some of the island safely with an experienced guide. I definitely recommend this excursion.

The experience was excellent. Really good value, with an excellent and interesting guide. We were picked up at our hotel at the exact time agreed, and the guide was excellent, giving a really good and interesting commentary on the island. The views were stunning at all the stops. We were with another couple in the car, and they were good company. Another car was with us, with three passengers, and the seven of us had a very good lunch (which was surprisingly included). I'd highly recommend this

Keine deutschsprachige Tour. Nur in Englisch. Die Teilnehmer waren nur Engländer. Ich finde es unmöglich uns 2 Deutsche mit lauter Engländer auf die Tour zu schicken. Unser Fahrer war eine Katastrophe. Er raste wie ein ********** über die Insel. Der Guide selber war recht nett. Konnte aber ausser griechisch und englisch keine andere Sprache. Teilweise habe ich etwas verstanden, mein Mann leider gar nichts. Dafür das ich eine deutschsprachige Tour gebucht habe ist das eine Frechheit.

Driver Fanis gave us lots of information at each stop & was great at answering any questions. The car was comfortable & Fanis a great driver over the rugged track to the top of Ipsarion. It’s a long & boneshaking climb but that’s what we expected. The view from the top was amazing, taking in much of the mainland & all around Thassos. So many butterflies too! Excellent stop in a Taverna to round off the day.

Gebucht und versprochen war ein Deutsch sprechender Guide bekommen haben wir griechisch und englisch. Der Ausflug hieß Bergdörfer der Insel gesehen haben wir tatsächlich ein verlassenes Dorf. Das Auto war für die Auffahrt auf den Berg ungeeignete. Der Abschluss am Meer war schön.

Wir haben zu viert eine deutschsprachige Tour gebucht, diese war dann doch mit einemmenglisvhsorachigen Guide. Bewohnte Bergdörfer-Fehlanzeige . Die lange Fahrt auf furchtbarenSchotterpisten war z. T. eine waghalsige Zumutung. Positiv war die schöne , einzigartige Aussicht und der schöne Abschluss in einem Lokal am Meer. Die Beschreibung der Tour entspricht nicht ganz dem Erlebten

Loved our tour guide. A great day out. Not sure the trip to the top of the mountain was the best use of our time and your resources. Yes, the views were great but the ride was uncomfortable and I'm sure there are other destinations on the island which are just as beautiful and interesting and don't require such a long uncomfortable slog up dirt tracks.

Our driver nicos was great. Would recommend this trip to see the mountain. The track is a mixture of sand and stone. If you don't mind being jolted an example being on a rollercoaster then this is for you. The views are incredible and we were lucky as it was a clear day

Tolle Ipsarion Adventure Tour! Carolina ist eine sehr sichere und freundliche Fahrerin sowie eine super Begleitung. Wir haben wunderschöne Orte besucht und konnten auch im Wasser entspannen – ein rundum gelungener Ausflug. Hinweis: Die Strecke ist teilweise sehr uneben und für Personen mit Bandscheibenproblemen eher anspruchsvoll. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank, Carolina! Die Fahrt auf den höchsten Gipfel der Insel war ein interessantes und abenteuerliches Erlebnis. Trotz des leider nicht ganz schönen Wetters war der Ausblick auf einige Küsten Thassos sehr schön. Dank der deutsch sprechenden Fahrerin unseres Autos konnten wir viele Dinge über die Insel erfahren. Die Fahrt wird uns unvergesslich bleiben.

Nachteilig war, dass es in diesem Hotel keine Bar im Innenbereich gegeben hat (bei schlechtem Wetter relevant). Der Strand war Sand Kies, statt wie beworben Sandstrand. Ansonsten war alle sehr Exklusiv.

vehicle could do with being updated ! Our vehicle broke down and the man who came out to fix it said that Tui knew about the fault at the end of last season and nothing had been done about it ready for this year. This meant we lost over two hours of our trip !

A very interesting trip, if somewhat uncomfortable on the ride to the mountain top. The cars are ok but not best quality for comfort. They are a seven seater but really only suitable for three adults plus the driver. An upgrade to more plush vehicles is what's needed to ensure passengers comfort. It must be stressed to potential customers that this trip is for very able bodied people only, there's a lot of uneven surfaces a d steep hills.

Mir hat die Inselrundfahrt insgesamt gut gefallen.. Der Fahrer sprach sehr gut deutsch und hat sich sehr bemüht.. Leider bekamen wir keinen Snack und die Rundfahrt dauerte auch keine 7 Stunden wie angegeben.. Vom Kloster hatte ich mir mehr versprochen.. Wir haben nichts gesehen, nur den Eingangsbereich, wo man etwas kaufen konnte.. Keine Räume.. nichts. Zu kurz.. Für den stolzen Preis habe ich mehr Sehenswertes erwartet.. Fahrer wie gesagt war super..

Den Ausflug hatten wir auf Deutsch grebucht, Beide Fahrer konnten kein Wort Deutsch.. Wir erhielten keinerlei Erläuterungen zu dem was wir unternehmen. Wir wurden in ein halbzerfallenes Dorf, in ein Einmannkloster an einen Teich zum Fische füttern und auf einen Berg gefahren, ohne einen kulturellen Hintergrund zu erfahren. Nach dem Berg wurden wir noch zu einer verschlossenen Jägerbaude gefahren, wo uns ein belegtes Baguette gereicht wurde. Nach dieser Rast wurden wir noch in ein Dorf in eine k

Uns wurde eine geführte deutsch-sprachige Tour verkauft. Der Reiseführer sprach allerdings nur Englisch. Die besuchten Sehenswürdigkeiten wurden nur rudimentär erklärt. Das hätten wir auch allein hinbekommen.

The tour guide Fanis was amazing, he was friendly helpful interesting and looked after us really well with food and drinks too. We had such a great conversation with him. And all the little stops were lovely, such a nice memory from our holiday. Fanis was amazing. I have nothing negative apart from the road was really bumpy, it's a shame that it can't be resurfaced properly.

Gute Gelegenheit etwas von der Insel zu sehen. Der Fahrer hat uns in Golden Beach abgeholt und ist super sicher gefahren. Der Besuch des Klosters, der 360-Grad-Blick vom Ipsarion und am Schluss der Besuch des Dörfchens Maries waren toll. Kastro hat als Startpunkt wenig zu bieten, Stausee auf dem Weg auf den Ipsarion gibt wenig her. Beim Snack gegen 13:15 hätten wir uns nach der Abfrage beim Buchen nach Allergien auf Käse und Salami etwas authentisches lokales gewünscht, keinen 0815 Sandwich!

Gebucht war eine deutsche Führung. Guide war der Fahrer des anderen KFZ, der ausschließlich und teils schwer verständlich englisch sprach. Er unterhielt sich vorwiegend mit den Insassen seines Fahrzeugs, kaum mit uns. Es kamen kaum Informationen im Vergleich zu anderen Guides, die mit anderen Gruppen unterwegs waren. In dieser Form von uns nicht zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wirklich sehr nette, kompetente deutsche Reiseführerin, die uns sehr sicher über die anspruchsvolle Piste auf den Berg gebracht hat. Es gab auf der Tour durch die Bergdörfer viele tolle Eindrücke. Schon die Strecke war ein echtes Erlebnis und auf dem Ipsarion hatten wir eine atemberaubende Aussicht!

Super Ausflug- der Guide war sehr aufmerksam und hat viel erläutert. Auf dem Rückweg zum Hotel hat er einen anderen Weg gewählt- somit haben wir noch mehr von Thassos gesehen.

Sehr netter Fahrer, fährt sicher und routiniert. Feste Schuhe anziehen ! Bitte unbedingt für des Kloster (als Frau) einen längeren Rock und eine Schulterbedeckung mitnehmen; der Fahrer hat entgegen der Aussagen von der Reiseleitung NICHTS dabei. Sandwich wie vorabbestellt & genügend Wasser bekommt man.

Amazing trip, loved the whole day. Spectacular views from Ipsarion , top of the island, “wow”, an amazing view of all of Thassos. Great driver who made us feel very safe, very experienced and pointed out landmarks. Loved the mountain villages and monastery. The day was packed and the experience amazing, we loved every minute. The whole team of drivers/ guides were friendly , relaxed and informative. Thank you, totally recommend this trip.

Picked up on time, Nicos was very friendly and helpful, spoke good English. Gave a good commentary during the drive and the walks on the stops. Great scenery and a lovely village to have a drink in on the way back

Dani’s our guide was amazing from start to finish, he made a fantastic experience even better, the villages were beautiful and the scenery was stunning and Maria’s Taverna at the end was a magical place for a cool beer. An excellent day for sure .

Toller Guide Nikos Preis Leistung Verhältnis könnte besser werden Man fährt ins Landesinnere und sieht ein wenig ursprüngliches. Für den Preis könnte auch ein Mittagsmenu dabei sein und nicht nur ein paar Sandwiches

The guide was very friendly, funny, knowledgeable and interesting. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Would definitely recommend it.

Nikos our guide was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. The car was clean and reliable. We enjoyed the snack in the mountain shelter. Nikos bought us back via the coast road and showed us many nice beaches and tavernas to visit. We would recommend this trip to anyone.
