Cosa aspettarsi
Questa divertente mattinata in famiglia coinvolge tutto il clan. Visitate il più grande mercato costiero di Fuengirola per acquistare souvenir, fare qualche regalo o fare un affare o due, poi recatevi al Bioparc, un centro zoologico pluripremiato dove potrete trovarvi faccia a faccia con scimpanzé, tigri, lemuri e molto altro.Per prima cosa, avrete la possibilità di immergervi nel fiorente mercato di Fuengirola, il più grande della Costa del Sol. Osservate gli abitanti del luogo mentre studiano le merci, scherzando e scambiando storie con i venditori. È un luogo ideale per acquistare souvenir, abiti di produzione locale e prodotti freschi.Si prosegue poi verso il Bioparc, un parco zoologico molto apprezzato che sostituisce le gabbie e le sbarre con recinti splendidamente progettati, pieni di verde, fiumi e templi esotici. Potrete vedere di tutto, dalle tigri agli scimpanzé, dai gorilla ai suricati. Non perdetevi i primati saltellanti dell'Isola dei Lemuri e creature insolite come il drago di Komodo e gli ippopotami pigmei.
Cosa ricordare
Il mercato viene sostituito da una visita a Mijas quando non c'è il mercato di Fuengirola (ultima settimana di aprile/prima settimana di maggio, seconda settimana di luglio, prime due settimane di ottobre).

The whole thing was very rushed, under 1.30 hours at the market was ridiculous and then 2.5 hours at the Bioparc. I was given the wrong pickup time, on my booking it said 9.45am when in fact it was 9.05am

Seeing the animals , the fish section, history museum, the lay out, the spacing. Organisation when arriving at the parc, no clear instructions when arriving at the parc, had to wait for entry to the parc.

Feedback provided on the day to the rep, there were two shows on the day at the zoo, first one about training animals, Second was the animal show ( the one everyone wanted to see) No one was able to see this as the coach was leaving around the time it ended… this was very poor planning by TUI as 20 minutes later would have allowed everyone to get the most of their experience as we will not have an oppertunity to go back there again especially with the high cost.

Market was okay to visit markets not really my kind of thing but from a culture point of view was lovely to walk around and experience the market being set up and stalls open The zoo I really enjoyed this was a fantastic experience to be in open an open space outside in the middle of a city looking at some wonderful animals superb experience

I felt the time spent at the market was too long, we made our way around buying what we wanted im half the time we had spent there and could have used that time more productively at the zoo. The zoo was a brilliant experience but felt a little rushed

The whole experience was great. The only thing which was disappointing was there is not added discounts for disabled or carer. If you book the zoo direct then you can get a discounted entrance for disability but not through tui.

Being kept waiting in line outside in the heat while Zoo staff counted and recounted and recounted how many on the trip took precious time away from our time in the Zoo… overall experience was fabulous though.

We didn’t feel like we had enough time to browse the markets. Felt like we rushed however still enjoyed. Maybe an extra half an hour. Anything more would probably be abit much when it’s so busy

Frederick was a lovely guide with lots of knowledge to share. We loved the bioparc, the market was great too but very hot and busy so a little tricky with young children to enjoy this part, we also struggled to find a toilet to use without having to use a restaurant so it would be handy to be told where the public loos are if there are any available. We’d recommend this trip as had a lovely day

The guide told us to leave everything on the bus while we were at the market. Said everything would be safe as the bus will be locked. Came back to the bus after the market to a different bus due to issues with the original bus. None of our stuff was transfered. Rucksack, baby change bag and a pram sun shade cover. Managed to have the rucksack and change bag delivered to the biopark but the pram shade cover STILL hasn't appeared. I spent ages researching and tour guide asked is it important.

The trip itself was good but overpriced for the time we had in both places. There appears to mis communication between the tour operator taking payment and the tour guide as we got told we will be back at 3pm but arrived back at 2pm we were told we would have 2hrs at the market and only got an hour and a half and also an additional 30 minutes at the BioParc. We would have been better booking our own travel and it would have been less expensive and also not felt so rushed!

Excellent range of exotic animals to see, really would recommend it to families as it’s not huge like English zoos and you get to see the animals really close and from different angles which is great ??
