Situato nel cuore di Amsterdam, ARTIS è il più antico zoo dei Paesi Bassi e il quinto più antico del mondo.Venite a vedere il vitello di elefante nato il 24 dicembre e, lungo il percorso, scoprite tapiri, capibara e altre specie della Pampa. Esplorando il parco, incontrerete animali in via di estinzione provenienti da tutto il mondo e scoprirete quanto sia importante proteggere queste specie. Visitate il Planetario per un viaggio nello spazio. Scoprite stelle e pianeti e ammirate il nostro posto nell'universo. Sentite il battito d'ali di innumerevoli farfalle nel Padiglione delle farfalle. Passeggiate nel parco storico della città, ammirate i monumenti, il giardino botanico e fate una pausa rilassante in uno dei ristoranti vegetariani.Controllate il programma giornaliero delle presentazioni dei guardiani dello zoo, dove potrete conoscere i leoni marini, gli elefanti asiatici e altri animali. Se volete scoprire, imparare o prendervi cura della natura, ad ARTIS potete fare tutto.Con un biglietto combinato, potrete visitare anche gli altri luoghi unici di ARTIS: scoprite il mondo dei microbi in ARTIS-Micropia e scoprite come tutta la vita è collegata in ARTIS-Groote Museum.

I wish I could have had ice for my drink as it was a hot day. I wanted to pay with cash and could not at the french fry stand nor at the waffle stand.

Mijn gasten komen uit Bermuda, grootouders met kleindochter van 11 jaar. Op Bermuda hebben ze alleen aquarium. Bezoek aan Artis was een hele belevenis want ze hebben alle dieren nooit in het echt gezien. Giraffen, leeuw, aapjes etc, alles was voor het eerst te zien voor hun. Ze vonden het geweldig !

La experiencia ha sido increíble, el zoo es gigante tarde como 3h en verlo todo bien, no es como cualquier zoo primero los animales están sueltos no en jaulas (excepto algunos pero muy pocos) y segundo tiene zonas de serpientes, reptiles, plantas etc… mucho contenido para ver

Er waren te veel bouwactiviteiten en we waren erg teleurgesteld dat ook het aquarium dicht was.
Het kost evengoed toch een hoop geld en de 'consumpties' bij 'de bakkerij' en het restaurant waren gewoon te duur.
Gemengde gevoelens dus.

We totally enjoyed the zoo! It was larger than we expected. We would recommend that you inform people that they could easily spend an entire day there! We would have appreciated some additional signage or perhaps a map to help to navigate the zoo. We understand the need to limit paper.
