On this half-day tour, you'll marvel at dramatic scenery and be enchanted by picturesque hilltop villages. The Alpujarras nestles at the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and were for years a little-known secret. You'll see Lanjaron, Portugos, Trevelez and Pampaneira, with plenty of free time to explore. Your day begins in Lanjarón, where you can relax with a coffee and take in the stunning panoramic views. As we continue to Pórtugos, you'll have the chance to taste the unique 'Fuente Agria' water, known for its orange hue due to its rich iron and mineral content. Next, we head to Trevélez, famous for its ham drying facilities. Here, you'll get an insider's look at the impressive process and savor some of their renowned cured hams.Finally, we visit Pampaneira, one of Spain's most beautiful villages. With its steep, cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, and rich Arab history, Pampaneira is a true gem. You'll see traditional looms in action, producing the famous Alpujarran rugs, visit an ancient laundry area, and taste the region's most beloved chocolate.

A fantastic trip. Driver was professional and we felt very safe with him on the mountain roads. Our guide was a wealth of local knowledge and had a good sense of humour. Stunning scenery and altogether a very interesting trip.

We only stopped at two places rather than the 4 listed on the app. There was also a coffee/toilet stop. Experience at Trevelez was good. Pampaneiria had no real interesting features, it was just some touristy shops and bars.

The tour guide was very pleasant and very informative. The roads were very twisty and the driver was very skilled and you felt safe. The Iberica ham, cheese and wine tasting was good. Non of the calling points were rushed but it is out of season. I expect it will be different in high season. All in all one of the best tours we have been on. Scenery fantastic, snow on the mountains

Goede, vriendelijke gids, ( Gort) hij gaf veel informatie en beantwoorde onze vragen!- veilig rijdende chauffeur! Geen moment angst gehad bij het rijden langs de valleien!!

Enjoyable trip but the coach was very uncomfortable . The vibration in the seats at the back when the coach was on the motorway was horrible . Some passengers had to sit sideways as there was not enough leg room . The guide was friendly , knowledgable and entertaining and the regions we visited were interesting .

Vergeleken met de prijs voor Caminito del rey, is deze excursie echt te duur. Als dan ook nog eens niet alle dorpen uit de TUI brochure worden aangedaan, is dit echt te diur. Lanjaron geen koffie gedronken.

Het ophalen en terugbrengen ging perfect. De gids gaf veel uitleg,hield rekening met de ouderen en heel vriendelijk en meedenkend. De reis met prima chauffeur Francisco heel prettig. De dorpen prachtig! De ham experience etc geweldig boeiend en lekker. Vriendin en ik grapten nog ,toen de gids het hippiedorp aanwees, dat we daar ook wel heen hadden gewild. Wat een mooi gebied met tipi,s en tiny houses. Tja weet niet hoe de interesses van anderen zijn.

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Gord was a good guide. We are in our 80's, my husband has dementia and Gord kept an eye on us, without intruding, he was very tactful and respectful with my husband. The scenery was beautiful, the driver was very good - some scary hairpin bends all negotiated with skill and experience. We loved the whole trip. Tiny snag, you have to get up early to get to Riu Monica from th Balcon in time for 8 a.m. It nearly put us off going. So glad we made the effort.

Small coach/ large mini bus, too cramped. Had to sit on back seat, squashed, windows stopped at the people in front, so couldn't see out of the window. Not much good on a tour like this. Bus creaked and clunked at the back, so couldn't hear guide. Couldn't see what he was referring to, as couldn't see out of window Should like a refund.

Ein toller Ausflug, sehr schöne Erlebnisse, guter Reiseleiter u. erfahrener Fahrer. Schinken u. Weinverkostung war eine tolle Überraschung da diese nicht angekündigt war. Ein rundrum schöner Tag m. genug Freizeit zum Essen oder Shoppen usw. Der beste unserer gebuchten Ausflüge und wir haben in 4 Wochen so einige gemacht.

Ein guter Fahrer, ein überaus netter Guide! Man fährt durch eine sehr beeindruckende Gebirgslandschaft. Die drei Stops waren interessant, besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Schinkenverkostung. Die Gruppe war klein und es war eine sehr nette Atmosphäre, auch weil der Guide für eine gute Stimmung gesorgt hat. Wir hatten insgesamt 4 Ausflüge gebucht. Dieser hat uns am besten gefallen.

We hadden een geweldige gids Gort. Het was een leuke trip, helaas had mijn vrouw geen reistabletjes bij zich. Dit zou ik toch even aanraden omdat de bus toch veel bochten omhoog en omlaag rijdt.

Lang op de bus - eerste stop was er niets te zien - tweede stop ok, maar kort - proeverij ok - derde stop met lunch tijd : dorp te klein om te kuieren. Prijs/ kwaliteit : 60 euro is teveel!

Wir hätten gern noch ein Bergdorf zusätzlich. Andere Struktur und Schwerpunkt z. B. Schinken. Nah genug liegen ja die Dörfer. Eine Tagestour, wenn man schon so nah liegt.
