We had a fantastic trip to Cape Vaticano, Pizzo, and Tropea. Our guide, Maxine, was absolutely great, and our driver, Enzo, ensured we traveled safely and comfortably. The stunning views and charming towns made the experience unforgettable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the region. I enjoyed the whole day. The tour guide was really good, she was interesting and informative with a sense of humour. The only criticism would be that not enough warning was given before of the physical demands of the tour for anyone with a disability.

Great tour overall. Enjoyed most of it. Was a very hot day though and a lot of walking which handsome struggles with. Product tasting in Tropea/Pizzo and walk around was excellent. There is only one thing I would say. On a downside was expecting as advertised to see Piedigrotta Church but was not taken there. Personally I would have preferred to see this as oppose to Capo Vaticano which, whilst a lovely view, was time I would rather have spent at Piedigrotta Church.

I was expecting a guided tour for the money that I was charged. It was not one. It was more oriented for German speakers with very little information/ guidance provided in English. It’s also 30mins at Capo Vaticano, 4hrs at Tropea and 2hrs at Pizzo. We struggled to keep pave with the guide as we had children with us. The guide also did not seem knowledgeable to answer any questions about anything else (streets, artefacts/ culture) that was not part of the tour script that she was following.

A lot of travelling picking other guest up. Tour guides struggling to fill day as places visted lacking intersting sites.. No proper toilet stops. Would not class tour as small group! Spent too long in Tropea. Guides did there best with what they had to offer

The overall experience was brilliant, the information and history given by Tina our guide was very knowledgeable ! Our coach driver mymo was ever so friendly and these two made up a very good partnership. Thank you both for a great excursion.

I thought one of the locations was a proper castle, turned out to be a view point down a very uneven path downhill not at all suitable for people with mobility or small children

We enjoyed every part of the trip and our guide was lovely friendly informative and funny she made the experience better. Lovely views and places to visit we travelled with a ten year old and my 70 year old mother who walks with a stick and the pace was just rigbt for all our abilities. I can’t remember the guides name I do remember she said she was originally from Germany and had lived in the area since 1987 I think.

It was great that our tour bus just picked up from 1 hotel and everyone on our bus spoke English and our guide Mimi was lovely. Great idea that she gave us audio packs for when we were in the towns. She was full of really interesting facts so we learnt so much. Great way to see Italian life and lovely views everywhere. It was a long day but enjoyable and had best pizza and ice cream ever!

A great way to visit places outside the resort - we had time to explore Tropea and Pizzo which was a big plus. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable but talked a little too much - in the heat she could have cut it much shorter, too much talk leads to tuning out! Driver was always punctual and the air conditioning always on.

An excellent day out with a brilliant guide who had so much information and kept us well informed all through the day. The only issue for me was that there was very little chance to site see and get any food. Otherwise it was excellent all the way and I would recommend the tour.

Tour description did not give enough info on difficulty of walking for those with eg. Canes/walking sticks Guides English was not good enough and too often she had to ask the group for words this was very disconcerting for members of the group who booked English because their language was not available

We went on a day trip to three towns until 17:00, and the trip itself was perfect! Betty was an excellent host for us, and understanding the changes to an all-English tour was highly beneficial. We learnt a lot about the region and highly recommend it! More time could have been spent in Tropea, with the time spent in the others being just right.

This tour was fantastic I throughly enjoyed it it was one of the best parts of my holiday and what made it was our tour guide named Betty she was a star if I could have gave this tour more stars I would and great value for money this is not a moan but if you have trouble walking then do not do this tour as there is a lot of walking involved and yes it is more than 8 hours however you are not rushed and have plenty of free time in Tropea and Pizzo so an Excellent tour

Enjoyed tour but where I stayed not orginal Hotel could not walk too local places too sight see out in middle off nowhere when got there had no euros only cash expecting hotel to exchange but only a t m machine balance low in bank spent two days trying too find somewhere hotel not helpful.

Our guide Moses was great, his spoken English sometimes needed some deciphering (but it's tonnes better than my Italian, so no judgement here!). We enjoyed his descriptive overviews of each of the visited towns. We'd have preferred not to visit the tourist shop in Tropea, as we wanted more free time to experience this lovely town (it's a group tour though and others were happy). Free time in Tropea for lunch but do try to save room for the special Tartufo dessert in Pizzo (we didn't, we regret).

Didn’t really enjoy the excursion. The day was too long, too much time in Tropea considering that most shops and even churches closed for afternoon siesta. We were informed the tour was English speaking but was in fact English and German. The guide was fluent in both but took along time having to describe everything twice. Also a small point the guide indicated that we were going to try the ice cream specialty in Pizzo but did not say we had to pay for it.

Lovely day out to see and experience Calabria. Enjoyed the historic side of the trip and had time to look around, shop and eat in the many restaurants in Tropea. Would have been better to have arrived in Pizzo before the shops closed for the afternoon as found many closed. Lovely place.

Each destination was interesting and enjoyable however the order meant that lots of shops in Tropea had closed for midday by the time we had done the tour with our host. We found this disappointing Mimi was a good host and very engaging

The trip to Pizzo and Tropez was very enjoyable. Our guide Mimi was the highlight of the trip as she was engaging and had a lot of knowledge to share. Despite having a great time and a having an amazing guide, the segregation between the English and German speaking guests was clear. The guide for the German speaking guests took over the microphone and Mimi often had little time to share information with the English speaking guests. This was unfair on her and ourselves. Overall very good though

lovely sights would not recommend it if you have young children or can’t walk that well we had a 6 year old with us who did very well all day but it was very hard going for her (Gelato helped ) The tour guide was very nice but didn’t take into account little legs or bad legs and went about her tour like she was on a mission leaving us to catch up all the time. would i recommend yes if your short of time, no if you have little ones would i do it. again no with a tour yes on our own

Poor English of guide . Had to listen to huge amounts of German then German guests talk over English so couldn’t hear .led to a shop for tasting and ended up paying more for goods found cheaper in town . The tour is relaxed then area lovely . Definitely would recommend taking swimming stuff

My comments below relate to the "All day coach trip to Capo Vaticano, Pizzo & Tropea. Overall we enjoyed the tour however as with other TUI trips on this holiday, there was zero information regarding the itinery or even the sequence or timing of events. The guide was very caring & clearly knowledgeable, how ever often she neglected to give us even the most basic ( and in my view) important tourist info such as the fact there is a really interesting castle in Pizzo which only cost 3 Euros!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. She gave us lots of information to ensure we got the best experience. The tour involved a lot of walking which was not clearly advertised. We enjoyed the opportunity to Tey local delicacies and visit the towns.

The guide was very knowledgable and liked her suggestion for lunch. All 3 areas we visited were different and nice to see different places however thought last stop in Pizzo was too long. Also wasn’t told about steps and uphill walks that we just about coped with but others did or may struggle with

This was our second attempt to go on the tour to Sicily, it isn't promoted at the hotel just on the Website. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, we both felt it wasn't long enough to experience all we wanted to do. The Gardens and the Amphitheater were amazing such stunning scenery. We really wanted to experience the cable cars but not enough time for this. We would suggest an earlier start to the day, also our guide wasn't able to give a guided tour but gave fantastic talk and insight during our journey, we were impressed with her knowledge and detail she went that extra mile to make sure we were well informed. ??

Well the early start was totally unnecessary. We could of left at 9:30am, which would of allowed us to have breakfast. One hour too long in Tropea, and 30mins too long at the other 2 places. This really does need a rethink.
