A la Carte Restaurants nicht so toll. Zimmer könnten besser geputzt werden. Türen der Zimmer sehr laut. Getränke und Essen im Buffet Restaurant sehr gut. Anlage im allgemeinen sehr sauber gehalten.

Castro our guide was excellent! Our speed boat crew were amazing! The overall experience completely blew us away. Our son has autism and isn’t great with loud noises. The boat was quite loud but because the guide and boat staff had engaged with all the passengers when it got loud he bought into it rather than dis regulating.

We did the basic package for £60 last year and paid the extra to do the private island. It is so worth it! Quieter beach and group travelling to and from the island. Extra stop and snacks along the way. Then a more options for lunch! Definitely better than the cheaper package

Ankunft in bayahibe Umstieg auf Boot zu Katamaran, erster Schnorchelstopp(noch im Hafen)man hat einiges an Fische gesehen. Dann mit Katamaran auf die Insel. Die Crew war super und Getränke und Snacks gab es auch. Auf der Insel, Jahreszeiten viele Algen, der Strand war schön aber nicht besonders. Mittagsessen, war Buffet. Zurück mit Boot, zweiter schnorchelstopp, keine Fische, keine Seesterne nur Krabbenlöcher am Grund. Vielleicht falsche Jahreszeit, keine Ahnung. Ich empfehle den Ausflug nicht.

Coach trip there was good and our guide Jonny was very knowledgeable. Speed boat on way out to the island was ok and staff very friendly. Our stop off to get into the water should have been waist height so we could look at the sea bed to see the star fish and other tropical fish.However I’m 5 ft 9 and I had just my head above water most of the time but my wife is 5 ft 1and we had to ask for a life jacket.This was such a disappointment.Food on the island was terrible & our time there was rushed

Die Insel ist echt ein Traum.. Aber leider man verbringt zu wenig Zeit dort.. Mit dem Bus fährt man zu lang und dazwischen hält sehr oft an, sodass schon am Mittag auf der Insel ankommt und nach 2 Stunden wieder los muss... Echt schade für das Geld.... Aber insgesamt war es sehr schön und alle waren nett

Breakfast was 2 pieces of cheese on a stick,then 2 piece of ham on a stick like you get on cocktail sticks at home,finished it off with a piece of melon and pineapple on a stick. The snorkeling and second pool we the best part of it.sarona beech was very rocky and nothing else to do when you finally get there.it says from £97 ended up paying £341 for two adults and one elven year old child,was it worth it.....no

The actual experience was nothing like the photos suggested - the snorkelling part was about 100m out of the port, and while the natural pool was nice, the starfish were not there one minute and then mysteriously appeared. The private beach was only around 50m of beach, with another 3 or 4 private tours all sharing the same stretch of beach, and lunch was disappointing at best. While the guy on the boat on the way there was entertaining, the food came out of a dirty cupboard on the boat!

Great guide, snorkelling swimming and food however based on what we learnt afterwards and witnessed on the return catamaran trip shocked at safety. Smirking was banned but not capping, whilst in harbour waiting to unload crew refuelled using in appropriate fuel containers 25/30 litre with just a standard screw cap I. The same area a young girl Died just two weeks before, health and safety was not present at all during refueling the engines were even off 5 minutes before the petrol was topped up

Over £280 for 2 people. Only thing premium was the money charged. Everything done to maximise profit. Like an episode of the apprentice. How can a trip run out of beer? Island at least where we were was pretty filthy, lots of sea grass thousands of old coconuts and palm leaves just dumped at the end of the beach or behind. Toilets filthy. Rep was more bothered about selling 10 dollar piña colada's then advising guests where the bar was etc. Food was served last. Very poor.

Negative. As our group was the last group on our part of the beech to go for food there wasn’t a lot left. The chicken pieces we got was mainly a bone with hardly any meat. So we felt the food wasn’t good value. Positives. The crew on both boats were outstanding as was our guide BJ. Even after getting soaked on the speedboat ride back from the island.

The hotel rep over exaggerated the experience. Was picked up at dreams hotel lobby event hough we were staying at dreams hotel and there was a pick up from dreams lobby. Coach transfer was good. Too many boat transfers. Catamaran too small, no space to relax. Island toilet facilities DISGUSTING. Flies around food. Beach not private... with a rocky/seaweed coastline. The beach where I was staying was just as good if not better.

Guide and staff were amazing. Friendly and looking to make the experience pleasant. Swim in lagoon ‚pool‘ was lovely, Saona island itself great for playing in the water and for photos. Food was ok, not too much and not too little. More drinks on island would have been good and information about price for pineapple beforehand would have been good as didn’t have enough cash with me on the day. Not so good was noise level on catamaran, music was much too loud to enjoy the sailing.

First off we was sold the excursion on the bases if we paid extra we would be travelling by boat with just are family group we was told the cheaper price would have more people on the boat with us so we decided to pay more. The excursion guide said they dont do it privately its always as a group and there was at least 25 people on the boat. The snorkeling and island was a nice experience but the journey was very long. The food on island was nice and the guides who took us where amazing.

Relaxing catamaran journey to the island with a couple of stops to enjoy snorkelling and a natural pool. Staff fed the fish so they came out from the reef -we saw so many fish that we recognised from aquariums! The private beach was excellent to relax with no sales people bothering us. BBQ was excellent too. Speedboat ride back was very bumpy. I'd recommend bringing some goggles to protect your eyes from the seawater splashing up onto the boat. This was definitely the highlight of our holiday.

The bus was late picking us up from the hotel. We had all been up early. The guide Johnny was brilliant, friendly and gave us alot of information about the tour. On arriving to the Island the weather was non stop rain. No ones fault food was awful staff were not helpful or friendly. Return journey back on the boat was uncomfortable and dirty. A black bin filled to the top was on-board visable for customers to see. My nephew cried as he was so tartumised. The experience was very disappointing.

Der Ausflug hätte eigentlich abgesagt werden müssen, da das Wetter sehr schlecht dafür war. Fast nur Regen 🌧️ Auf der Insel bot sich keine Möglichkeit zu baden. Nur Regen 🌧️ Es wurden auch nicht ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten zum Essen für eine 5-köpfige Familie bereitgestellt. Wir hätten getrennt sitzen müssen auf der Insel. Durch den fast durchgehenden Regen waren alle nur nass. Die Rückfahrt im klimatisierten Bus stellte somit eine große Herausforderung dar.

Allereerst keken we uit naar deze excursie omdat dit de enige zal zijn die we gingen doen. Pluspunten: 1. de mensen op de catamaran probeerden er iets leuks van te maken en iedereen daarbij te betrekken 2. Het strand op Saona Island zag er mooi uit. Minpunten: 1. Begeleiding sprak alleen in de bus en verder floot ze alleen op haar fluitje als we iets moesten doen. 2. Bijna een vechtpartij in de bus op de heenweg 3. Onweer wat gevaarlijk is op zee. 4. Te druk op de boot 5. Lunch, vlees rauw

Would have been a lot higher score if it didn't chuck it down and storms while on island, looked nice from the shelter 🤣 wife and daughter got into trouble on the stop in middle of the sea should be advised to wear life jacket for non swimmers there and they couldn't touch floor and I had to carry both of them back could have been a lot worse.

Die 160€ pro Person passt nicht für die Leistung, essen war gerade so ausreichend. Leider musste man Pina Colada auf der Insel käuflich erwerben. Es würde Drei Stunden auf der Insel versprochen, für uns waren es nur ca2,5 Stunden. Genau so es hieß wir werden mit ein blauen TUI Bus da hin gebracht was auch nicht der Fall war.

Enjoyed the beautiful snorkelling, the boat ride to the island, the history provided, the sun bathing on the island - didn’t enjoy the limited offering at the island for food and drinks. enjoyed: Tour Gide women was amazing. Didn’t like: we got told before buying that we was going to experience a quick transport private island experience what is not we have received. Transport was extremely long getting to the island, we was told 30 mins snorkelling and only received max 10 mins. Journey on boat was extremely long. eventually got to the island we only got 2 hours and meant to get 3 as promised for price we paid. travelled 10 hours, only for 2 hours beach. Waste of money

Saona Island trip, we were told that we had booked the best package. However, there wasn’t even enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. We were told it would be a private boat, but there were around 50 people on board, and everyone was sitting very tightly and uncomfortably. No drinks after 40 min,no food on boat only snacks. I contacted with my TUI representative and hopefully the problem will be resolved. We are very disappointed ☹️

Supposed to be a VIP experience, yes we had private beach, food was absolutely terrible, drinks were scarce, we had to pay $10 for pineapple drinks on the island, over 2 hour trip back on a poor Catamaran with no where to sit but on a hard deck floor, could not sit in the shade because that’s where the guides were dancing and trying to get people to dance, so 2 hours stuck in the sun, my 16 year old asked for water and they gave her rum and coke. Constantly asked for tips, extra $80 spent.

The guide Danny was brilliant, the boats and the crew where brilliant too, we had a great time whilst on both vessels, the swimming bowl where we encounter the starfish, rays and fish was fantastic, the island was enjoyable too, decent food, it's only let down was the toilets, they were some broken, others where unable to flush, full of excrement, and sadly from a snorkeling perspective had nothing there to see, other than a nice beach, I would have preferred longer on the boat

This trip was advertised to us as much better than the competitors and that is why it was almost double the price. In reality, it was the exact same as other trips. The snorkeling time was ridiculously short, at most we were given 15 minutes. The catamaran and other boats we used were extremely basic and a little run down. From the ticket price, we were expecting a much higher standard.

The entire day was fabulous! Beach they take you to is picture perfect. Lunch has lots of variety from salads to pasta to meat. It’s a long day 630am to 7pm but worth it. The TUI experience only has TUI people on so not overcrowded, nice numbers. Snorkeling is also ok, not too far out to sea. Definitely worth it.

Amazing trip. Very well organised fantastic transport. Great guide knowledge and safety. Well worth paying extra for more privacy and time in the island. Amazing food and cocktails. Plenty of time and great boat trips. Sunbeds provided in the beach and beautiful surroundings. Provided very good toilet breaks

We hadden liever gehad dat ons was gemeld om wat geld mee te nemen om ter plaatse het drankje in de ananas te kunnen kopen, een waterdicht zakje voor je gsm,.. er was ons verteld enkel wat fooi mee te nemen. Dit vonden we wel jammer dat we dus niet voldoende bij hadden. Catamaran was aangenaam door de muziek, entertainment en eten. Speedboot was zeer vlot en goed dat dit in het naar huis gaan was. Eten op het eiland was ook lekker.

Johnny our guide was amazing very helpful and great information throughout the whole trip. Speed boat was fun heading out there and catamaran back was nice to relax drink and dance. Saona island is a must see and with this trip get TUI only beach which really helps with it not being over crowded. If you go Dominican you have to go on this trip!

Het eiland was prachtig, echt niks anders dan op de plaatjes. Echter, is het massaal en toeristisch. Ons is beloofd een supreme, vip. Dat was het geenszins. Wanneer iedereen je iedereen een supreme verkoopt krijgt iedereen hetzelfde voor meer geld dan eerder. Het is echt een hele dag, van 's morgenvroeg tot laat in de avond. Op de speedboot was het vol en druk. Het privéstrand is 3 meter strand met bedjes. 3 meter links en 3 meter rechts van dat privestrand zitten twee andere privestranden

The trip was completely different to what we booked. we booked the "VIP" experience but we did not receive any of the elements promised during the booking process. Parts that were included were completely different to what was explained. NO private beach, NO private lunch. NO fresh water pool. Snorkelling done in the port before boat even moved with other boats nearly colliding with the swimmers.

we did not like on the way back to the hotel Mama asked the people on the bus if they would like to stop at KFC obviously all the kids wanted to but we had dinner reservation and the stop at KFC was an extra 45 minutes. the bus didn't get back to the hotel till 8pm. This should not of happened.

We feel the trip was missoldto us, as it was sold as an over 13s exclusive trip and we had a number of young children on the tour. The children where not a issue, but we was not sold the trip on that basis. Also, we had to find our own way back to the coach from the boat, but we did know our way. It could have been intimidating for others. If we had not been told it was over 13s and exclusive, we would probably score 9, as it was quite expensive though the service was good by everyone

We had an amazing time, but have to mention that we didn’t get all that was sold to us when booking. We were told cocktails and drinks available all day, the only cocktail available was one you had to purchase at Sanoa, the boats offered small cups of coke, sprite, beer or rum and coke. We were told we’d get wine and beer with the meal and didn’t. This is our only complaint. The rest of the trip was great.

The snorkeling was a waste of time as we were still in the harbour area. After 30mins we were back on the boat and the snorkeling equipment was offloaded. It could have been used at the Natural Pool. The crews on the catamarans were fantastic!

The guide was brilliant and looked after us all day. However the trip was all inclusive… it ran out of sprite on the way out then ran out of beer and water in the way home. It also only had rum or beer as alcoholic drinks… not everyone likes that. There was no other juice and for it being a trip that included kids they definitely needed more drinks available. Food on the beach island was lovely

This was a fantastic tour, with only a few hiccups. Lite breakfast was not anywhere near a breakfast, you’ll need to eat or take food with you. They don’t in anyway cater for allergies, so bear in mind. Finally, our driver for the last part of the return was a maniac who put everyone at risk by driving on the wrong side of the road for the most part. However and most importantly Saona is a beautiful island and well worth a visit.

Couldn't snorkel because the mouth piece inner bits were missing, couldn't keep the breathing tube in. They ran.out of soft drinks and water on the island an hour and a half before we were due to leave on a baking hot day. Got a drink after being on the boat back after half an hour. 2 hours without a.drink!

Really enjoyed the overall experience however the transfer was a bit of a disappointment. We knew it would be a long bus ride however when we stopped to collect other guests they weren’t at the hotel reception so it went to another reception then back to the first then to the second reception again and the guests were still not there. I felt that as you are told when you book to arrive 10 mins earlier than pick up that the driver should have waited 5 mins then go on as other guests are waiting.

The island itself is beautiful, the guides and drivers and sailors we met were amazing and super friendly and knowledgeable. The experience was great!! We were never without a drink or a snack. Definitely recommend’

Our family loved it as a day out, the experience of snorkeling and swimming with the starfishes and stingrays, seeing the Caribbean sea and having that experience together was amazing. Mama Hen our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. For myself the only drawback was not many vegetarian options.

The coach journey back was the worse experience I’ve ever had. I understand the guild wanted to make people happy but the karaoke was absolutely awful. Out of tune men singing of the coach PA system was to much for us. Yes 95% of the coach loved it but the people from our hotel didn’t appreciate it.

Went on this trip 4 years ago and loved it so went again and it was below standard, very poor service from guide who left us at the harbour for an hour without explanation “food” on Saona Island was bearly edible it was really bad. The area of the island Tui say is exclusive itself seems run down from the last visit which is surprising considering the amount of money this trip generates you’d of thought decent washroom facilities would be available and a food offering fit for human consumption

We enjoyed everything about the day and Danny our guide was brilliant, none stop entertaining from him all day. Him and the other guys on board were great, got you up dancing and singing on board so made the journey enjoyable. Once at the island it was paradise, lunch was great with plenty to choose from and plenty to eat. Everyone was friendly too

From pick up at hotel to return back to hotel everything was excellent. The snorkeling was a great experience and having a private section of the beach made it more tranquil. Highly recommend the Pina Colada on island
