Hay que vestir adecuadamente cuando se visitan monasterios. En ambos, los hombres deben llevar una camiseta con mangas que cubra los hombros. Las mujeres deben cubrirse los hombros, llevar faldas largas (no pantalones) que lleguen hasta la rodilla y cubrirse el pelo.
En cada monasterio se pueden adquirir pañuelos para cubrir el pelo por 3,50 euros.
No apto para niños pequeños, carritos de bebé o personas con movilidad reducida debido a la larga duración del trayecto y a los numerosos escalones.

Starting with the positive, Meteora itself is just incredible. Never seen anything quite like it and am pleased to have finally seen it for real. On the downside though, lunch stop was in a 'taverna' in a terrible location with zero character and very average, overpriced food. And Metsovo was quite underwhelming too. Yes the location is beautiful but it's a very busy, traffic-heavy village which makes it difficult to stroll around at leisure. And also, the coach had poor air-con and was too hot!

A lovely guide and the driver made drive feel safe and comfortable. Would have preferred longer at the Meteora and cut the stop at Mesovo, as well as picked a different stop for lunch. But all in all a comfortable drive to the amazing Meteora.

It was a long day. The amount of time spent in the monasteries was less than 2 and a half hours. The lunch stop was just for an hour. The restaurant picked by the tour was over crowded and the food quality and choices were abysmal! There were no great options and it was annoying! Overall it was bad!

Absolutely loved this trip. We stayed in Parga, so was a few hour journey, but our guide Natasha and driver Nikos made it very comfortable and Natasha kept us well informed along the way.
Meteora lived up to our expectations. Stunning scenery and the Monasteries were amazing. Well worth it!

The trip overall was interesting. It is a hike to get up to the top but weather notwithstanding, wothwhile taking your time, there are areas to take a breather on teh way up and of course down. The lunch stop you are suggetd to go to a particular taverna but there are other places to eat within the square. A very long day but would not have missed it for the world

Meterora is spectacular. After such a long journey not enough time allowed there. No time to view both Monasteries. The lunch stop at Kalampaka, was like herding cattle, no choice of where to eat. Food almost thrown at you and bread put on plate that wasn't wanted. Then overcharged for cold, miserable food. Lunch stop should be at Mesovo, giving clients an option of where to eat and see more of this pretty little place.

The most enchanting sights I’ve seen. Totally stunning views and monasteries were just beautiful. Loved going to the village on the last stop a quaint little place. Fabulous information from the tour guide. Loved it. As a solo traveller was made to feel completely at ease.

Enjoyed the amazing scenery and the very interesting and knowledgeable guide in the monastery itself. Our guide for the day gave very clear instructions of the itinerary and was clear when he wanted us in and off the coach but the information given about different places was a little dry; read from a script. It was a very long day but worth it for the stunning scenery that felt Alpine, so very different from our beach resort.

Very long day out at 7am back 7pm. Great experience at Meteora - but time in the 2 monasteries was v short. Lunch was ok but location in a city area which is quite run down - nicer location would have been better.

The tour guide was not very informative about anything we were seeing apart from a full low down on the new main road explaining it's cost, exits etc. The guide at the monastery was VERY informative ... The main reason for the tour for us personal was to see the James bond rock, the guide said nothing about it just pointed to where it was lucky hubby is a huge bond fan so was explaining to some of the coach party about ..... sure that guides job. Personally the guide let this trip down.

The actual visit to the monastery was good, I would have liked to go to another monestry after travelling all that way. We had an hour and half in Kalamata which was too long and 40 minutes in the the hillside town which was too short!
