Qué esperar
Parga se encuentra en la región griega de Epiro, una zona de gran belleza. Este viaje le adentrará en el corazón de la provincia para ofrecerle una visión de sus espectaculares paisajes. Descubrirá Ioannina, Zagoria, el desfiladero de Vikos, arroyos de montaña y pueblos rústicos.Empezaremos en Ioannina, la capital de Epirot. Situada en un lago, tiene un aire turco debido a su pasado otomano y daremos un breve paseo por sus alrededores. La mezquita de Ali Pasha también se encuentra aquí, y su guía le hablará de ella durante la visita. A continuación, haremos una parada para admirar Zagoria, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO y conocida por su escarpado paisaje natural, antes de dirigirnos al pueblo de Monodentri. Dispondrá de dos horas para explorar este lugar por su cuenta, pero su guía le acompañará a dar un paseo hasta el Monasterio de Santa Paraskevi.Cuando haya terminado de recorrer las tiendas de recuerdos y haya almorzado, se dirigirá al mirador de Oxia para disfrutar de unas vistas épicas del desfiladero de Vikos. Los últimos hitos que visitará son un par de puentes realmente pintorescos, el puente Kokkori y el puente Kalogeriko. Desde aquí, emprenderá el viaje de vuelta a su alojamiento.

Het was een prima trip, Natasha wist veel te vertellen over allerlei zaken. Ik kan me wel voorstellen dat sommige medereizigers haar engelse taal niet zo goed konden volgen. We zijn samen met nog 2 dames de groep heel even kwijtgeraakt bij het klooster op de terugweg. Het is goed gekomen maar was fijn geweest als de reisleidster even gewacht had op iedereen. Er waren voldoende stops en tijd om even de benen te strekken en naar het toilet te gaan. Verder heel tevreden over deze trip.

Bezoek aan de citadel en het meer van Ioannina was niet echt bijzonder, maar dit werd ruimschoots goedgemaakt door het bezoek aan Monodendri, de Vitos kloof en de stenen bruggen. Af en toe flink wat klimwerk, met een uitdagend looppad, maar de uitzichten zijn fenomenaal. Wederom Natasha als een fantastische gids en Nikos als een zeer kundig chauffeur. Lunchadres in Monodendri was ook in orde, al hadden ze niet alle gerechten op voorraad. Eten was prima.

What a fabulous full day trip. Very professional and friendly guide Natasha. Beautiful scenery. Very well organised time wise. Every aspect of the trip was very well thought out. The coach driver was very good too. Natasha and Nikos worked very well together to deliver a great trip for us all.

The trip is too long for what you actually get to see. From our hotel pick up to getting back was 11 hours. The gorge was impressive but with only one restricted view point was disappointing seeing the distance and time taken to get there. I would not recommend unless you enjoy sitting on a coach most of the day.

Beautiful area. Our guide was very informative about the places we visited. Our driver was amazing, and we felt very safe on the mountain roads some of which were very steep. A long day but well worth it as the scenery was beautiful throughout.

The guide was very lovely, knew her stuff and helpful. Coffee break on the way home with only 40 minutes to go was a waste of time and appeared to be for the guide to get a free drink and a chat with other guides. No benefit to the people on the excursion

Het was waanzinnig zeker de moeite waard. Met indrukwekkende vergezichten en een adembenemende natuur. Diep onder de indruk. Eten was erg lekker, gezelschap vriendelijk. Lokale bevolking erg gastvrij en vriendelijk. Natasha was wederom onze gids, ze straalt rust uit en weet wat ze doet. Veel geschiedenis, cultuur en architectuur informatie gehad. Tijdens de reis, maar ook tijdens het bezoek van de steden/ dorpen kon je veel vragen. Buschauffeur was TOP! Veel gelachen

We loved the dramatic scenery. The tour of old Ioannina was interesting. You have to pay 1 Euro to look in the old mosque which is well worth it. The Vikos Gorge is very spectacular, but a difficult walk on rough cobbles for those with reduced mobility. Lunch was at a nice restaurant where you order and pay for your own food. The Stone Forrest was interesting, but we didn’t stop, the old packhorse bridges were great. A long drive, but worth it if you want to see something different.

Deze trip moet je hebben meegemaakt, zeer indrukwekkend en wat een natuurverschijnsel. En niet te vergeten de oudheden die je te zien krijgt! En tevens is zo’n busreis al heel interessant!

Onze gids Natasha was super . Enthousiast en vertelde veel maar niet teveel zodat het ging vervelen . We hadden dezelfde gids bij de meteora dus waren wij blij verrast . De vikos kloof is zo ontzettend mooi en het programma was erg goed . Hebben veel gezien en gewandeld. Een echte AANRADER

The trip was extremely enjoyable and the guide was very informative. The day was varied with each part of the trip being very impressive. While my wife and I are quite comfortable walking I think it should be made cleaner in the promotional material and in the information provided by the reps that the day involves a total of about 2.5 hours walking in the heat on often uneven surfaces and on steep upward and downward inclines. Good walking shoes or trainers are recommended.

Leuk afwisselend. Ioannina met z'n historische plekken. Was erg leuk en leerzaam. Jammer dat veel in de steigers stond. Goede reden nog eens naar hier te komen en dan het eiland Nisi erbij te doen. De Vikoskloof is duizelingwekkend! Wel beetje eng zonder hekje ;-) De pauze in het Zagori-dorp kon je mee wandelen naar een kloostertje. Wij niet, maar heerlijk genoten van een Griekse lunch op ons gemak. Daarna nog even kuieren door het dorp. En ja, laatste stop was niet zo, maar WC-stop is prima.

Trip was really well-organised and the itinerary was perfect with the right amount of time at each location. Absolutely stunning scenery and so worth getting out of Parga to see. The guide, Tony, was brilliant - he shared lots of information before and during each stop and was happy to walk and talk with the group at each point. Would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone wanting to see something different and get out and explore the region more.

Gids was niet vriendelijk, geen welkomswoord ,heeft zich niet voorgesteld, niet afscheid genomen. Naar onze mening niet geschikt voor deze job. Over de bezienswaardigheden gaf ze wel goede info, maar las het af van een papier, was niet echt spontaan.

Ion a trip that lasted 11 hours our guide spoke to us for half an hour altogether.we didn't learn alot from her about the area we visited.she was more concerned with getting coffee and something to eat!the air conditioning was not used despite us asking for it..presumably to save fuel!we would suggest that a proper guide was used who gave back ground information on where we were and actually came with us to visit the various venues and explained things not just leave us to find out things.

The guide was unhelpful. She read from a script 5 mins before arriving at places and then stayed talking to the driver at each stop off point , never accompanied us. The coach was unbearably hot too, the driver and rep had their windows open which was the only draft !
