Venturing to a completely different country is always an exciting prospect. Sail across to Turkey and spend the day exploring the buzzing port town of Marmaris and visiting a bazaar and gold factory on this full day tour.It's an early morning start as you head for the port – but this tour's worth getting up for. You'll set sail across the waters, arriving just in time for a guided city tour and a quick stop at a panoramic viewpoint to grab those all-important snaps of Marmaris. Then, you'll make tracks to a local gold centre, where you can practice your haggling skills.You'll head to the old town next, where you'll have plenty of time to explore its winding streets and huge bazaar. Jam-packed full of bargains, it's a great place to pick up any souvenirs to take home. And no trip to Turkey would be complete without the chance to sample some local delicacies such as Turkish delight or traditional tea. After all the excitement, there's a relaxing late afternoon boat ride back to Rhodes.

Ich gebe viel Geld aus für eine solche Tour. (Zwei Erwachsene und ein Kind-laut Alter). Da möchte man auch mehr Zeit dort verbringen. Es war eine tolle Reiseleiterin-höflich, nett und hilfsbereit. Aber diese Kaffeefahrten sind lächerlich. Am Ende eines langen Tages (um 7 Uhr abgeholt und erst um 19 Uhr wieder im Hotel) hatten wir drei Stunden in Marmaris zum shoppen, bummeln und essen.

Es war im Großen und Ganzen ein toller Außflug bis auf die Tatsache dass der Guide 8 Personen aus unserer Gruppe inklusive uns in Marmaris vergessen/ stehen gelassen hat, obwohl wir bereits 20 Minuten früher am Treffpunkt waren. Mussten dann mit dem Taxi selber zum Hafen fahren und hätten die Fähre fast verpasst. Es war eine Frechheit, dass sich der Gude nicht einmal bei uns gemeldet hat oder uns eine Nummer für den Notfall gegeben hat.

Wir sind von uns aus auf TUI zugegangen um einen Ausflug in die Türkei zu unternehmen. Leider haben wir einen TUI Reiseleiter erst am letzten Tag unseres Urlaubs im Hotel gesehen. Der Ausflug war gut organisiert und der deutschsprachige Guide Bianca hat einen super Job in Marmaris gemacht. Die Sicherheit auf der Fähre lässt zu wünschen übrig. (Bsp. Rettungswesten und Fluchtwege mit Gepäck versperrt)

Es ist halt eher eine Einkaufstour. Wenig sehenswertes, bis auf die Altstadt, die aber sehr klein war. Wer z.B. Klamotten oder andere Dinge Kaufen möchte ist hier richtig. Die Tour in die Goldschmiede war ebenfalls auf den verkauf ausgerichtet. Hier hätte ich gerne mehr von der Verarbeitung gesehen. Allerdings garantiert über TUI und Reiseleiter empfohlen, wer wirklich echten Schmuck, Uhren, etc. kaufen möchte. Auf dem Basar sollte nur nach Empfehlung des Reiseleiters gekauft werden.

Beratung um Goldgeschäft war sehr gut.Ich hoffe dass der beworbene Preis tatsächlich so günstig war gegenüber Deutschland. Basar Marmas Leute sehr freundlich aber teilweise aufdringlich. Bootsfahrt nach Maramas gut zurück etwas wellig .

Uns hat alles sehr gefallen, das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und man kann sehr viel erleben. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr köstlich. Die Lage des Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage und man kann zu Fuß auch sehr viel entdecken. Die Zimmer waren ebenfalls sehr ordentlich und jeden Tag Fisch gemachte Betten und Handtücher. Ich kann das Hotel und die Reise sehr empfehlen. Wenn man was erleben will dann kann man sich auch sehr gut und preisgünstig ein Auto leihen was sehr viel Spaß gemacht hat.

Im gesamten war es ein schöner Urlaub aber.. 1. Kein Reiseleiter vor Ort 2. Die Musik ist Abends zu laut wenn man schlafen möchte 3. Wir hatten das Zimmer gewechselt weil das Erste dreckig war, es hat gestunken und war nicht im Haupthaus wie es in den Reiseunterlagen stand 4. Wenn man kein Auto mietet kann man nicht viel von der Insel sehen .. 5. Das Essen am Buffet ist nicht wirklich abwechslungsreich

Besuch in Schmuck- und Lederfabrik als „Pflichtprogramm“. Interessant aber wenn man nichts kaufen möchte, geht wertvolle Zeit verloren, die wir lieber anders eingesetzt hätten. Dagegen waren der Reiseleiter und auch der Busfahrer super nett und kompetent und auch die gesamte Orga durch TUI war rundum gelungen.

Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Laut Beschreibung hieß es, wir segeln nach Marmaris, es ist natürlich eine Fähre, man sitzt drinnen und die Landschaft kann man auch nicht bewundern, die Fenster sind zu dreckig. Die Führung in Marmaris war sehr gut. Viele Infos, sehr nette Leute und ausreichend Zeit zur freien Verfügung. Abholung, Ausreisekontrolle, Bustour, Fabrikbesichtigungen -alles sehr gut organisiert.
