With no guidance from Tui, I was not aware until the last minute that our hotel pick up, was in fact down the road at a bus stop by traffic lights. We very nearly missed our experience and it added stress. This should have been explained and much clearer, but as we never saw a rep at the hotel, we had no information to work from. Once on the trip, no issues.

The bus left 3 minutes before the scheduled departure time which I think is crazy and arrived 5 minutes before departure time.It should also be clear that the transfer will be stopping at a lot of TUI hotels. Driver should communicate on what bus number to look for on the way back and where. Otherwise great trip, though it will be beneficial with a tour guide

The bus was slightly late and there were no signs so the group was slightly worried that we were waiting in the wrong place. However when arrived, the driver was friendly and fun and the journey felt safe. Pick up was smooth and the journey back was good. Definitely easier than planning the journey yourselves

Perfect way to visit Lindos. Pick up from nearby hotel was on time. Driver was very friendly and explained drop off & pick up points. We had plenty time to explore Lindos, climb to the Acropolis and have lunch by the beach. Great value for money.

Very easy to book via the app. Bus picked us up on the road near hotel as described on the app. (About 50 meters away from hotel). Roughly 1 hour bus trip. The driver clearly told us the time and place we will leave. Got to Lindos nice and early so was able to beat the queues for the Acropolis. We had 4 hours to explore which was plenty of time. Would highly recommend.

Pick up was late and seems like every bus trip is organised for 8am pick ups resulting in chaos at the bus stop. Transfer to lindos took about 45 min but transfer home 2 hours, which would of been nice to have be pre warned.

Prima busreis, de chauffeur vertelde ons alsnog van alles over Lindos dus dat was leuk. Aanrader om wel zwemkleding mee te nemen, je kan prachtig zwemmen in Lindos en 3 uur is anders best lang om door het (warme) stadje heen te lopen. Het combineren met een frisse duik is zeker een aanrader!

The transfer is great. However too long at Lindos - could do with an hour less easily ! Thought could go for a swim but have to pay for sun beds on the crowded beach - not much shade except for in a cafe / restaurant- lots of hanging around . Shops ok if you want tourist tat but other than that ok to wander through the alleys but not necessarily buy - their air-con was a godsend though and the shaded alleys The acropolis was disappointing too - been repaired to look as it does today

We had 4 hours in Lindos which was enough. However, it would have been half the price if we had gone by public transport which was easily accessible due to the location of our hotel and given us greater flexibility. Received wisdom was to immediately on arrival join the queue to get into the Acropolis, in which we waited for half an hour. When we left the site the queue was virtually non-existent but you need to be mindful that the return journey time is set by the coach driver.

Flights were absolutely awful delays and changing to a different plane- the plane was falling apart seats were wet staff weren't easy to communicate with as Spanish and very limited English is it wasn't for the couple of TUI people it would have been impossible to speak to someone

Picked up from hotel for coach transfer to Lindos. Early start which was good as we could walk up to the Acropolis before the other tours arrived. We bought tickets on line before we went so walked straight in. Amazing views from the top. We then had plenty of time to explore Lindos before the transfer back to the hotel.

Transfer was really easy to organise, the coach arrived 15 mins late but it does say approximate time, so just had to be patient and wait. Worth a visit to Lindos but is very hot as all street are small and narrow, we struggled a little with pram about town but can't be helped. Couldn't fault the driver was lovely

The driver was helpful and the coach was great. Its a bit of a walk into Lindos (10 mins) but there is a shuttle bus. The Acropolis is stunning but is a bit of walk up hill to get there. It's pretty slow going though because of the queues early. Beautiful place to visit. Only negative is that it would have been cheaper for us to get a taxi as our resort was so close, which we didn't realise as we booked in advance, but besides that it was lovely.

Coach driver arrived on time and was very friendly. Clear instructions on what time to be back at our coach and the number. Nice early pickup which helped because Lindos got very busy. Lovely 4 and 1/2 hours there to explore the area. Nice air conditioned coach which helped on our journey back as temperatures had reached 30 degrees. Very good value for money.

Enjoyed trip. However the driver could have told us there was a shuttle bus to the village from where the bus park was. And also there was a shuttle bus up from village (50cents each way). When we arrived at the bus park the driver told us to go down the steps and follow the hill down. Quite a steep hill and LOTS of people and traffic. We would have taken the shuttle both ways had we known. Apart from that a good day out.

Transfer pick up was on time, quick and easy drop off at lindos, beautiful place a shuttle bus is avaliable for 50c each way up and down to lindos square, be prepared for a long climb up to the acropolis but it’s well worth it for the views. You can get a donkey. Beautiful beach and bay.

Friendly bus driver picked us up promptly at 8:25am and we left Lindos at 1:30pm. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable which is why we chose to buy the transfer ticket. I would advise travellers to head to the Acropolis as soon as you arrive as it is cooler and quieter. Entry fee half way up is 12 euros. The walk up isn’t the easiest and the stones can be slippery so wear sturdy shoes with grip.

The early start time means you arrive in Lindos before the crowds, we headed straight to the acropolis and it was great to be one of the first people inside. Lindos is a lovely place to visit, we felt the transfer was the best option for us and best value for money. The coaches were on time and the driver was friendly. 4hrs was enough time for us to see everything we wanted, the streets get very busy around lunchtime so actually we were ready to come away at 1.30.

We liked the fact that we arrived early before the crowds. We went straight to the Acropolis and were disappointed to find an entry fee of 12€ each which hadn't been mentioned in the trip details. The Acropolis was worth it however. When we came out at 10am the queue for tickets was massive, approx 300m long. From then on the lovely village was a heaving mass of tourists so we walked down to the beach and then found a roof top bar to escape the crowds. Very busy but overall we enjoyed the trip.

We enjoyed visiting Lindos. The drive there was pleasant and we could do our own thing. What we didn't like was that when we made the booking it didn't say what time it will finish. When we got there the driver just said to be back at 1.30pm. This for us meant that we had to rush doing things. We could have done with a bit more time to explore the city.

As with all the excursions, the coach will go around all hotels picking up passengers so it feels like it can take forever to get there. Lindos overall was perfect. From the village to the views from the acropolis. Whilst the 8am pickup time felt too early it was definitely worth it to avoid huge queues. One word of warning, whilst the climb up was fine, going down was more difficult. Parts of the paths & steps are smooth & slippery so it was scary going down as nothing to hold on to.

Great transfer only excursion with lots of free time to explore Lindos's many streeets and shops, the beach is a 20 min walk down hill or the monetary and acropolis are a 40 min uphill walk and there is an admission fee to enter. If your mobility is limited it is a slog in the high temperatures but there is always a rooftop bar available for a refreshment. Over all a good excursion but can be busy and very warm

This was everything it was meant to be. Even when the room wasn’t up to the standard we’d paid, they soon found us a room to the standard. There was no quibble and the staff couldn’t be any more helpful. Definitely go back to the Mitsis Grand.

Our coach driver was very friendly , he even stopped the coach on the way back for a photograph of Lindos at a fab photo point ! The timing of the trip was perfect , we managed to get to the top of the Acropolis before 9am and beat the crowds ( and the heat!)

Picked up from hotel a little late 8.40am but bus was air conditioned and clean. No Tui staff on board, bus driver told us time of pick up once we got to Lindos. We followed all the other tourists down the hill and into the small streets and shops. We headed straight up to the Acropolis before it got too hot. Worth the walk to the top, great views. Enough time to look around the Acropolis, shops, drinks to be back at bus at 1.30pm. Family enjoyed the trip, got back for food and cool off in pool.

we hebben 119 euro betaald voor 7 personen voor een busreis van hotel naar Lindos. We moesten 7 uur klaar staan en de bus bracht ons naar lindos. We werden afgezet en we moesten 13.30 uur weer opgehaald worden. Mijn advies zou zijn een auto huren is 75 euro (volgende dag gedaan) ex benzine en dan kan je gaan en staan waar je wil en de hele dag desnoods in lindos blijven of nog ergens anders heen gaan

Excursion stated 8 hours duration. This was incorrect. It was about 5.5 hours including travel (allowing only 4 hours at Lindos). This was ok, but if we had known then we wouldn’t have carried beach stuff with us all the way to the top of the temple of Athena! The bus drop off is a long walk uphill from the town. Unsuitable for people of limited mobility. Once booked, the excursion did not show up in the TUI app in our itinerary for some reason. Luckily I’d taken a screenshot of the info.

Told to be at pickup point 7.20 am .The coach turned up 20 minutes late 7.50 am Arrived at lindos at 9.25 .Was told to be back on the coach at 1.20 pm to leave at 1.25pm .The coach left at 1.45 it was extremely hot as the aircon doesnt work properly whilst parked ..LINDOS is a tourist hotspot as such was overcrowded and the traffic going down the hill to the beech was bumper to bumper ..Safety advice you can only walk on the right hand side of the road going down ,left comming up very narrow

Good transfer in air con bus. But, the drop off point is outside the town and you have to walk down a very steep hill to get into Lindos itself. Walking back up is very hard especially if it is hot and sunny - although there are taxis which were worth every penny of the 5 euros we were charged. . TUI need to make people aware of this as some people could not cope.

Lovely place to walk around bare in mind though it is a lot hotter in Lindos around 32°c when we were here not much shade either but the sea is nice and cool. The bus was half an hour late to pick us up which was a bit annoying as we rushed breakfast for it. Definitely not the place if you’re not very mobile or have a pushchair as there’s lots of stairs. Also was very upsetting to see donkeys being used to carry people up steep hills and steps in the heat, didn’t see any water for them to drink either. We had lunch at a cafe was nice not too pricey, pretty much everywhere accepted cash and card and there are cash machines around too if you need cash. Overall it is a good place to visit for a few hours (we did not go up to the Acropolis as it was just far too hot)
