Dimitris, one of our guides, says, ‘Lindos was built in the 10th century BC by the Dorians. It's the third-most visited site in all of Greece, which shows just how significant it is.' You'll also enjoy a walking tour of the old town of Rhodes and see the Palace of the Grand Master. Headsets allow direct connection between you and your guide.Dimitris believes Rhodes is blessed with some of the best scenery in Greece. He says, ‘Lindos lies near a fantastic sandy beach, surrounded by hills hiding the village, protecting the place from the attacks of the pirates. On top of the small sugar cube houses stands the ancient Acropolis and the Temple of Athena.' You'll get to appreciate these very views during a coffee stop at a typical family-run café. Climb to the mountaintop Acropolis as your guide brings to life the myths and legends of the ancients as you take in views of St Paul's Bay below.Rounding off the day, we'll head to the old town Rhodes – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – for a guided tour. Because so much of the excursion is walking, it reduces the activity's carbon footprint. Wander the winding, cobbled streets, lined with historic houses and boutiques, and walk down the Street of the Knights. Völlig schief gelaufen, wir sind nicht abgeholt worden, und TUI hat kein Geld zurück erstattet, der Grund dafür der Busfahrer hat auf uns irgendwo 2 Minuten gewartet, statt uns von Hoteleingang abholen, sehr wenig Info und auf Englisch.

Viel Busfahrt, wenig Inhalt. Die Akropolis von Lindos ist nicht wirklich eine Reise wert. Sowohl optisch als auch inhaltlich lohnen sich die 20€ Eintritt nicht. Und Lindos (ein eigentlich hübsches Örtchen) selbst ist lediglich ein Touristen-Shopping-Städtchen, dessen Geschichte vor dem größtmöglichen Souvenir-Umsatz ins Hintertreffen gerät. Rhodos Stadt ist definitiv einen Ausflig wert. Einen Guide benötigt man hier aber nun wirklich nicht.

Vor allem die Reiseleiterin Maria hat uns sehr viel geschichtliches Wissen vermittelt. Sie hat alles sehr gut erklärt und mit ihr war die Tour ein richtig tolles Erlebnis.

Very interesting tour, and plenty of free time given to look round by yourselves. Price is quite expensive for what is included, in terms of quality it’s really good but if I was to recommend this to friends I would recommend them to travel to acropolis and rhodes old town by themselves for better value.

Die Abfahrthaltestelle ist nicht klar angegeben. Alle Teilnehmer pendelten zwischen zwei Bushaltestellen. Der TuiChat antwortet nur mit Textbausteinen ohne Inhalt. Wenn nicht ein Security Mitarbeiter der Autovermietung geholfen hätte, wäre der Abfahrtsstress noch stärker gewesen. Ab der Abfahrt war es dann perfekt organisiert!

Die Lindos - Rhodos Tour war an sich sehenswert. Leider hatte man bei unserem Guide den Eindruck, dass sein Wissen nicht vorhanden war. Er hat immer wieder Themen angefangen zu erzählen und meinte dann z.B. die Stadt heißt so, weil sie do heißt. Die Wappentiere von Rhodos wurden angesprochen, doch nicht erwähnt wie sie heißen. Bei einer anderen Tour gab es mehr Informationen für weniger Geld. Schade, vlt. haben wir beim nächsten Guide wieder mehr Glück!

We really enjoyed this experience. We were one of the first collections at 7.15am, we were back in our hotel by around 4pm, so it is a full day. Lindos was incredibly beautiful, a traditional Greek village. Rhodes Old Town was also really lovely, a labyrinth of streets and shops. We had some free time in each place but we really would have liked some more time in Lindos. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable but it would gabr been nice to have more time exploring independently

Lindos ist das Geld wert, Rhodes Altstadt ist zu sehr auf Massentourismus ausgelegt. Maria als Reiseleitung ist top was die Erläuterung zu Geschichte und Kultur in Deutsch und Französisch angeht, jedoch hat uns irritiert, dass am Ende der Reise weder die Vollständigkeit der Personenzahl geprüft wurde, noch eine nochmalige Information erfolgte, wer, bzw. welches Hotel welchen Bus besteigen sollte bevor der Tross sich in Bewegung setzt. Auch eine Flasche Wasser im Bus wäre angebracht gewesen.

Im Laufe unseres Aufenthalts haben wir über einen TUI-Mitarbeiter im Hotel die kombinierten Städtereisen Lindos und Rhodos-Stadt gebucht. Auch dies verlief ohne Schwierigkeiten. Beim Ausflug selbst war eine sehr nette Reisebegleiterin mit dabei, die auf deutsch viele Informationen geteilt hat. In den Städten selbst hatte man anschließend jeweils noch ausreichend Zeit, um auf eigene Faust auf Erkundungstour zu gehen.

Positiv: frühe Ankunft in Lindos, dadurch keine langen Wartezeiten. Negativ: Rhodos: keine Möglichkeit den Hafen mit der antiken Einfahrt zu fotografieren und kein Besuch des Inneren vom Grossmeister-Palastes. Die Reiseleitung hat sich nicht an das Tempo der langsamen Teilnehmer angepasst und Beschwerden über Probleme mit dem Audio-Systems ignoriert.

Der Start wäre bald in die Hose gegangen. Die kurzfristige Information das die Tour später startet (8:10 statt 7:40) hatte uns leider nicht erreicht! Aber auf dem Rückweg zum Hotel, kamen uns aber zum Glück die Besserwissenden entgegen! Guide Katarina entschuligte sich auch für das Versehen. Die Reisegruppe bestand entgegen der Informationen aus Deutschen und Holländern, so dass die Durchsagen 2 sprachig durchgeführte wurden! Guide Katarina meisterte das aber ausgezeichnet!

Die Zusammenstellung der Tour ist super; beide Stopps in Lindos/Akropolis sowie Rhodos/Altstadt sind sehr sehenswert!! Wir fanden die Dame, die unsere Tour geführt hat, nicht ganz so toll. Da hatten wir uns ausgehend von den Bewertungen dieser Tour mehr (Informationen) erhofft. Und es muss einem klar sein, dass man etliche Zeiten im Bus verbringt, insbesondere wenn man in Plimmiri startet.

Der Bus war eine Katastrophe und gehört verschrottet. Die Federung hat gequietscht. Die Klimaanlage hat einen ohrenbetäubenden Lärm gemacht. Etliche Rückenlehnen waren defekt, die Polster abgenutzt, Die Deckenverkleidung hing herunter. Die Reiseleitung von TUI nimmt das offenbar hin, denn obwohl wir das gemeldet hatten, bekamen wir den gleichen Bus auf der Rückfahrt zum Flughafen. Ausgezeichnete Reiseleiterin Maria! Sie hat den Ausflug gerettet.

Der Urlaub hier war wirklich top! Es hat einfach alles gepasst – die Mitarbeiter, das Essen und die Zimmerausstattung. Einziger, wirklich kleiner Nachteil: Nicht alle Mitarbeiter sprechen Deutsch. Es müssen natürlich nicht alle perfekt Deutsch können, aber ein paar mehr deutschsprachige Mitarbeiter wären sehr hilfreich. Ansonsten war alles perfekt.

Der Bus war bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt, sehr alter Bus und unbequem. Die Mitarbeiterin Maria war sehr nett, aber weil die Gruppe zu groß war, lief alles ziemlich anstrengend ab. In Rhodos-Stadt war die Zeit zu kurz und auch einfach für so eine große Gruppe zu voll, um alles genau zu verstehen. Naja der Ausflug war nicht so gut. Das Wetter hat wenigstens mit gespielt.

Grundsätzlich war das Timing sehr gut, auch der Busfahrer und Maria haben ihr Bestes gegeben. Verglichen mit meinen vielen anderen Urlaubs Ausflügen habe ich bei einem 8h Tag einen kleinen Imbiss vermisst, 1 Getränk war inbegriffen, Essen nicht, wie ich im Nachhinein im Reiseangebot festgestellte. Schade, auch wenn vor Ort viele Möglichkeiten zum Essen vorhanden waren. Die Akropolis war sehr schön und interessant, auch Lindos Stadt selbst, ebenso Rhodos Old Town. Gerne wieder :-)

The Guide was nice and informative but the listening device kept loosing connection, so it was difficult to pick up what she was saying, the group was far too big to keep close to the guide so we lost her a couple of times, too much spare time at the city of Rhodes, don’t want to pay that much and then go shopping for 2,5 h.

Lindos: wie in der Stadtführung von Rhodos hätte ich direkt in der Stadt gerne einige Informationen erhalten. Diese wurden dann im Reisecar nachgereicht. Toll wären auch Bilder gewesen, statt der Hinweis auf die Website (Qr-Code) da ich kein Internetguthaben im Ausland und habe und kein WIFI verfügbar ist.

26 Sept Beaucoup trop de monde à Lindos. Difficile de profiter de l’acropole et du shopping en ville à cause de la foule. Il faudrait y être beaucoup plus tôt. Rhodes: tour en bus constamment bloqué dans la circulation. Balade à pieds très courte juste pour donner des repères pour une visite ultérieure.

Ich kann die Tour sehr empfehlen. Unser Guide Maria war super und bekommt nochmal 10 extra Punkte. Sie hat uns mit Informationen versorgt, Fragen beantwortet und auch mal humorvoll, dabei war sie super gelassen und hat uns nicht im Dauerlauf durch die Sehenswürdigkeiten gehetzt. Da wir schon sehr zeitig in Lindos waren konnte man sich alles in Ruhe anschauen, deshalb sehr früh hin, danach wird es voll. Die Altstadt von Rhodos ist sehenswert, viel Geschichte auf engem Raum. Ich kann diesen Ausflug nur weiter empfehlen. Ich habe viele neue Eindrücke bekommen und konnte mir ein gutes Bild von Lindos und Rhodos Stadt machen. Allerdings sollte man sehr gut zu Fuß unterwegs sein. Nach dem Ausflug war ich fix und fertig vom vielen Laufen (und ich bin fit auf den Beinen) aber es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt! ??

Très belle excursion pour l'Acropole de Lindos et le Temple d'Athéna avec un guide francophone qui nous a fait revivre les mythes et légendes de l'Antiquité après avoir gravi 300 marches. Nous avons flâné dans les rues pavées de Lindos et fait des emplettes dans différentes échoppes. On a pu admirer la baie turquoise de Saint Paul en contrebas. Très belle visite de la vieille ville de Rhôdes, et ses nombreux commerces, restaurants.... à l'époque médiévale au temps des chevaliers.

The trip to Lindos Acropolis was very good. Pick up was in a coach near our hotel. The guide was excellent. Be aware you need to be able to climb steep steps. We had plenty of time to look around. We were then taken to Rhodes old town which was amazing. Well worth it. You get 1 soft drink when arriving at Lindos so take some drinks with you. We had lunch in Rhodes which you get yourself. Shop around and we found a reasonable priced restaurant.

Lindos acropolis was very good, and our lady guide was very informative both at the locations and in the journey to the destination whilst on the bus. The Rhodes old town was ok but not as good only as you get a few hours to walk around which was good, but mainly only shops were tourist and trying to sell mostly the same things. But still an enjoyable experience

Super service, comfortabele bus met tijdens de rit uitleg over de Griekse eilanden en Rhodos in het bijzonder. Boeiende geschiedenis. Bij aankomst in Lindos werd er door Tui in een bepaald winkeltje gratis water of frisdrank aangeboden. Het enige minpuntje voor ons was de tijd die we hadden om vrij te spenderen. In principe wel çava maar doe er zowel in Lindos als in Rhodos Old town een half uurtje bij en het zou relaxer geweest zijn. Maar al bij al zeker een leuke excursie.

Es war unheimlich gut organisiert. Wir hatten einen sehr tollen guide. Maria , welche Archologie studiert hat, hat viel von der interessanten Geschichte üver lindos und rhodos erzählt und uns sehr gut durch lindos und rhodos geführt. Sie hst uns tolle Tipps gegeben was wir in lindos und rhodos machen können und hatten genug freizeit in den Städten.Es war sehr informativ, aber ohne uns zu überfordern. Ich kann diese Tour sehr empfehlen.

Die Tour an sich war sehr schön. Da drei Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Hafen von Rhodos lagen, war es in Lindos sehr überfüllt. Auf- und Abstieg zur Akropolis gingen nur sehr langsam voran und Lindos Stadt war viel zu voll mit Menschen. Da hat man sich schon sehr eingeengt gefühlt. Rhodos Stadt war toll anzusehen. Unser Tourguide Nicos war super! Im Bus funktionierte mein Gurt zum Anschnallen nicht, deshalb Abzüge bei der Sicherheit.

I marked health and safety down as the steps to the Lindos Acropolis really need a safety handrail to prevent people falling down a very steep hill!

Eigentlich ein schöner Ausflug. Toller Guide, toller Busfahrer. Der geführte Teil des Ausflugs wurde vom Guide Tina informativ und sympathisch begleitet. Leider hat man weder In Lindos noch in Rhodos-Stadt ausreichend Freizeit um die Städte auch nur im Ansatz zu erkunden. Wir waren glücklicherweise vorher schon alleine in Lindos und fahren auch nochmal nach Rhodos. Sonst wäre das sehr unbefriedigend gewesen. Eigentlich sind das 2 Ausflüge oder zumindest ein Ganztages-Trip.

P. Marta swietnie przygotowana, opiekuncza i zorganizowana. Ciekawie opowiada o historycznych miejscach, chociaz tych atrakcji nie bylo wiele i raczej pobieznie obejrzane. Plus za sporo wolnego czasu w Rodos, by dokonac zakupów. Minus- brak kontaktu z lokalnym prawdziwym produktem greckim.

War ein schöner Tag in lindos und rhodos hat uns sehr gut gefallen .Aber mit Reiseleiter war ich sehr einverstanden, sie hat keine Rücksicht genommen auf ältere Leute ist viel zu schnell gelaufen.

Magnifique visite de l'Acropole, une vue magnifique. Beau village de Lindos, petites maisons blanches, jolies ruelles typiques mais pas assez de temps pour les parcourir. Reproche de ne plus avoir de repas typique et local. Merveilleux guides Dimitri et Alexis. Un réel plaisir de les écouter à propos de la richesse de l'histoire de leur pays qu'au niveau des anecdotes, des morceaux de vie pour mieux connaître la vie des locaux. Satisfaits également de l'accompagnement à Rhodes.

Lovely,knowledgable guide.Lindos far to chaotic ,,3 cruise ships in .Climbing steps was soo dangerous,too many people.Main complaint, too much time on coach 2 hours just picking up from different resorts!! .Picks ups should have been split up & bunched together wirh closer resorts .Not enough time in Lindos ,then the coach again .Time we got to Rhodes town ,we made are excuses to the guide & made our own way around & back to the hotel ,which was like freedom again !!This tour was stressful ??

Le guide Dimitri très bien parlant français très appréciable! Lindos très joli ! Nous avons moins apprécié rhodes! Nous aurions du le faire le soir! Sinon bien ds l'ensemble! Encore merci à Dimitri qui est passionné par ce qu'il fait!

Der Aufstieg zur Akropolis ist teilweise sehr gefährlich. Die Steine kurz vor der Akropolis sind mitunter sehr glatt. Die Führung in Rhodos war relativ kurz und die Besichtigung des Großmeisterpalastes findet leider nur von außen statt. Das hätte ich auch auf einem normalen Ausflug nach Rhodes gesehen.

This tour can be planned better and include more attractions such perhaps adding visiting museum or pre booked lunch. There is too much your own time during second half of the day, in Rhodes. Tour guide could be utilised better and their knowledge

The tour was good because there was plenty of time to tour Lindos and Rhodes Town independently. It didn't feel like a tour where you were constantly on and off the bus. We were slightly disappointed to be back at the hotel by 4:30pm, as we had understood it to be a full day. The previous tour we did we got back at 5:40pm. An extra 30 minutes/hour in Rhodes would have allowed more time. However, overall it was a very good experience.

Trip was informative and enjoyable. Details did not reference lunch. As an all day trip, it should have specified lunch not included. It did state soft drinks included but in reality that was one drink. Clearer details are useful
