Venedig wurde auf mehr als 100 Inseln erbaut und ist berühmt für sein Netz aus dunkelblauen Kanälen, die von kunstvoller Architektur gesäumt sind und von wunderschönen Steinbrücken überspannt werden. Bei diesem Tagesausflug von Istrien nach Venedig überqueren Sie die Adria mit dem Schiff und haben die Möglichkeit, diese romantische italienische Stadt bei freier Zeiteinteilung zu erkunden.Sie kommen stilvoll an der Anlegestelle San Basilio im Herzen Venedigs an und beginnen Ihre Entdeckungstour durch "La Serenissima". Während Sie durch diesen sagenumwobenen Ort schlendern, haben Sie genügend Zeit, um einige der Highlights der Stadt zu entdecken. Verpassen Sie nicht den legendären Markusplatz, der von der wunderschönen byzantinischen Markusbasilika und ihrem Glockenturm dominiert wird.Machen Sie eine Gondelfahrt, fahren Sie über so viele Brücken wie möglich und kehren Sie in die klassischen Restaurants ein - hier gibt es viel zu erleben. Am frühen Abend verlassen Sie Venedig auf eigene Faust und kehren nach Kroatien zurück, nachdem Sie eine der schönsten Städte Italiens gesehen haben.

Venedig hat eine Kurtaxe von 5,00 EUR pro Person für den Eintritt in die Stadt eingeführt. Diese muss mindestens vier Tage vor Ihrem Besuch bezahlt werden, sonst erhöht sie sich auf 10,00 EUR. Sie kann online über die Website des Fremdenverkehrsamtes von Venedig entrichtet werden
Bislang sind die Daten, an denen die Kurtaxe in Venedig im Jahr 2025 gilt: jeden Freitag, Samstag und Sonntag im Mai, Juni und Juli sowie vom 18. bis 30. April, Donnerstag, 1. Mai und Montag, 2. Juni.
Die Zahlung dieser Kurtaxe ist an den ausgewählten Terminen obligatorisch und führt dazu, dass die Einreise nach Venedig verweigert wird.
Nur damit Sie wissen, dass Sie für dieses Erlebnis die Grenze von Kroatien nach Italien überqueren müssen. Um dies so reibungslos wie möglich zu gestalten, geben Sie bitte den Vor- und Nachnamen, das Geburtsdatum und die Reisepassnummer für alle Teilnehmer an.

Great communication, clear instructions, engaging and informative explanations from the guides. Although travel time is considerable, some of it (approach through the lagoon, water bus transfers) itself forms part of the experience. Included lunch was superb, great value. Areas to improve: greater clarity in advance about the add-ons, their cost and the need for cash; warnings that if you wish to visit St Marks Basilica you need to book in advance - very sad not to be able to see the interior.

Amazing experience, Venice well worth the visit. We booked beat the queue tickets to get into St Marks Basilica which was well worth a visit and got us out the sweltering heat. We booked water taxi and gondola tickets which was well worth the money. As expected a lot of tourists, the further away you walk from St Marks Square the cheaper things become.

From the minute we stepped on the catamaran we felt well informed. All the staff were very helpful. The guides were great. We took all the extras and everything went like clockwork and we felt like we got to experience a taste of Venice in the very short time we had.

We had a fantastic day. Transfers from our hotel went smoothly. Great guides from the catamaran company. We had about 6 hours in Venice. Once we were on the catamaran we were offered ‘add ons’ which we took up- transfers by water taxi to and from the port, lunch and a gondola ride. Some people were more adventurous than us and made their own way around. It is a long day but worth it.

We loved our trip to Venice from Rovinj. I would have liked to know more about the facilities on the boat in advance. I would also have liked to know that there are optional extras (lunch, gondola, boat trips, guided tour) because we would have planned our day around those in advance if we'd known. Also the transfer back to the hotel from the boat was a bit chaotic (Rovinj gets very busy by the harbour in the evenings).

You should mention it’s 6hrs travelling on the sea And also the costs for transfers from boat to centre before booking so people can make a decision and not get trapped into spending more money than they budgeted for.

Well planned excursion. Highlights were the gondola ride and the lunch at a lovely wee restaurant. The weather was 38 degrees so having a guide was essential to save us wandering aimlessly in the heat! Had plenty free time once we got our bearings and sampled ice cream and drinks in St Mark's Square. 3 hours each way from Rovinj was a long haul but still ample time in Venice without feeling rushed.

This is a trip that should not be missed. It was smooth running from start to finish, we had an excellent experience and a day in Venice which was amazing, informative and we left knowing that we had checked so many things off our bucket list! There are no complaints at all and I would advise anyone thinking about the trip dont let the price put you off , its one of the best day trips I have ever had, value for money, historical and informative.

Great way to see Venice. It's a long day but worth it. The catamaran was comfortable, indoors so also warm! They open up the upper deck on approach to Venice which is great. We took up the offer of the planned excursions with the guides which I would say is a good idea. If you don't then it will be more expensive and you could spend a lot of time wondering what to do. when you only have a day you need a plan. The guides were really good and we had a great day.
