Wenn Sie der Stadt entfliehen und etwas mehr von Island sehen möchten, ist diese Reise ideal. Sie führt Sie an die Südküste des Landes, wo tosende Wasserfälle, schneebedeckte Vulkane und eine raue Küstenlinie auf Sie warten.An den größten Wasserfällen der Region, dem Seljalandsfoss und dem Skogafoss, werden Sie einige Stopps einlegen und genügend Zeit für Fotos haben. Auch der Eyjafjallajökull steht auf dem Programm.Der Vulkan, der 2010 ausbrach, ist heute ein Bild der Ruhe und schläft unter einer riesigen Eis- und Schneedecke. Der eigentliche Höhepunkt des Tages ist jedoch Vik. Dieser riesige Strand ist mit schwarzen Kieselsteinen bedeckt und weist seltsame und wunderbare Basaltfelsformationen auf.

The weather was awful with blizzards. This meant we couldn’t see the beach at Vik. Driving conditions were terrible and I’m surprised the tour went ahead. The guide was lovely. We had a large family party who followed their own time keeping which was annoying especially as some people on the bus had to return for another trip. It was still an amazing experience but I think we will have to return to see the beaches properly.

Maybe you could lengthen the day so that you can have more time in the three locations and a shorter lunch could help with this too.

Guide was very knowledgeable and even added in an extra stop off for us to see the glacier. The sights were stunning. Would of liked a little more time in each place on the stop to be able to take more of the surroundings in but understand there is a time constraint too.

The driver who was also our tour rep was so full Of knowledge- he was friendly and polite and always there to help and guide us if we needed it. The views of the waterfall were outstanding

The trips were excellent especially the very informative guide called Berger who was a real character. Tui kept me well informed throughout the holiday with daily texts on the status of the next trip. Would I go again - yes please.

Lots of things to see on the tour. We were lucky in that we had a beautiful day with blue skies that made the pictures all the more beautiful. Maria was a wonderful guide, very knowledgable and made the trip great fun ??

No toilets on the coach despite the 2 hour journeys. Toilet was locked and could not be used. Guide was excellent. Tour was 17 pounds cheaper per person if booked in resort which was disappointing. Beautiful scenery and waterfalls.

Enjoyed the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon & Northern lights spotting. The Southern tour was a bit of a let down mainly due to the weather which couldn't be helped but the delayed start did not give us enough time to enjoy the stops & give us enough time to eat, spent too long on the coach so would have preferred to have investigated Reykjavik more instead. The waterfalls on this tour & the scenery was good though.
