Reps at the hotel don't make it clear but Internet does.. this trip may be difficult for some people due to the uneven and especially at the salt mine there is quite a bit of walk. However we had great time 'wolf' the guide and the driver were very good. Enjoyed it all apart from the fish for lunch

The guide, Stephan, and the driver, Nando, were excellent. Stephan was obviously very knowledgeable & enjoyed relating the history of Sal & the Cape Verde islands & made the whole trip very interesting. The mirage, Blue Hole, Palmeira, Sal capitol - Espargos, lunch restaurant, in fact all of the trip was a real treat.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide Nino and our driver Freddie were brilliant. Nino was very knowledgable and he was a cheerful and friendly guide. The slope down to the salt lake is quite long and fairly steep. The weather was intermittent clouds so some of the places were not as good as they could have been. They were still interesting though. All in all it was worth it. Great day out and a sing song at the end. Thanks Nino and Freddie.

The trip was made because of the guide who was knowledgeable and fun. The most disappointing part was the mediocre meal, it was disappointing that it was taken in a cafeteria type soulless restaurant and the food wasn’t good standard, the dessert consisted of ‘tinned’ fruit salad. Was it worth the £70 sadly I don’t think so. We have decided not to book any other trips now

Not overly keen on visiting fishing harbour, but visit to kite beach, blue eye, and salt lake was very good. Could possibly do with slightly longer at botanical gardens. Maybe add a short stop off in Santa Maria itself. Guide Ed Neilson aka Wolf plus coach driver were very good, friendly, and knowledgeable Ten out of ten for both

I enjoyed the tour but did feel sometimes it was a bit rushed. I handed realised there were changing facilities at the salt lake, though they were very busy. Lunch was very good, great atmosphere and service. Our guide told us lots about life and the culture of Cape Verde which was very interesting,

Heber and 'China' were great. Very informative and entertaining. Sal is a tiny island, so this tour gives you the main areas very succinctly. You get to see a little bit of the 'real' Sal, which is quite eye opening. As it is with other people, the overall experience is slightly dependant on the group, but ours was fabulous. The blue eye is also slightly seasonal with how much of the eye you see. But this is a tour well worth doing. Highly recommend doing it.

Our guide, Heaba, was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. We were picked up on time and taken in a comfortable, air conditioned coach across the island. We felt that the day was very good value for money and gave us a good taste of the island life. The meal was ok and it was a lovely touch to finish the tour at the beach bar for a cocktail. The coach driver took good care and was constantly making sure that the bus stayed clean whenever we stopped. Heaba was great, thank you.

Loved the salt lake and blue hole – any excuse to get in the water! Savouring the local liqueur in Palmeira was also a highlight – as were the perspective trick photos we took at the mirage. Having also taken part in the lemon sharks experience, I would maybe look into substituting this for kite beach (despite the appeal residing in having a specialist in marine biology). Undoubted USP, though, was our delight of a tour guide, Nino. All smiles and devoted to giving us a good time! Just the best.

We really enjoyed the whole experience. Our tour guide Pempi Wolf was very helpful and informative. The mini bus arrived well on time. The day was very relaxed considering we did do much. Our only slight disappointment was where we were seated in the restaurant for lunch, which was in a back room with no windows next to the toilet! Nevertheless the food, the service and staff were very good. Would recommend this tour. All in our group enjoyed it.

It was possibly the best excursion we've been on. Our guide Stef was brilliant and very informative but never boring. We were surprised with how much was included in the tour for such a relatively small island. One of the highlights wasn't really part of the tour. The coach stopped, Stef got out and came back in with a small turtle. We proceeded to Kite beach where the turtle managed to find it's way into the sea. Brilliant!! Everything was first rate and we would highly recommend going.

Tony the tui guide was outstanding and a true ambassador for his country. Looked after us and told us all his knowledge of the island and the people that leave there. Improvement - Maybe small bottles of water on coach. All in all a fantastic trip and would thoroughly recommend.

All sightseeing places were good and better than expected. Like the fact that we were hopping from one to the other as there is not much to do to stay very long. However I don't feel I have seen much of the capital or the fishing town at all. I was wondering the point of the lunch. It did not feel like a restaurant, there was no "local" feel and the food was no special either. This part could be improved.

Clovis our guide was fabulous. He was knowledgeable and great fun. He really took care of the whole party. I liked the fact that we were a small group as it felt like a more personal trip. The lunch was delicious and I was delighted that I was able to have a lovely vegetarian option as opposed to the usual omelette offered on such trips. The only thing I would have liked is to have had some time for shopping in Palmeira. It’s just a small quibble as the day was great.

I've had such a great time on this trip. Tony our guide was so informative, answered any questions we asked and told us so much about Cape Verde. I didn't feel rushed at all and I saw the lovely sites of Sal. Blue eye,swim in the saltlakes,dip in the sea,the botanical gardens. Food and drinks included at a lovely little restaurant. Worth every penny.

The tour guide and driver I had were amazing. The tour guide was extremely entertaining and funny. It's a good tour as it fits in several features of sal and a 3 course meal with drinks. The tour guide we has gave everyone a small gift.

Guide and driver were fabulous and make the difference for this experience. So willing to share their local knowledge. Salt lake and botanical gardens were my favourite part.

This tour enables you to see the best bits of Sal . Our guide Ronaldo and driver Nando were excellent. Best bit was the Sal Salt lake . There was nothing we didn't enjoy

overall we had a lovely day and our guide Colvas was very good and very knowledgeable about the Island of Sal and the lunch was very nice , the views of the island were stunning and to finish off the tour a nice cocktail on the beach.

Emanuel was amazing he was so relaxed & full of knowledge about everything cape verde, he never made you feel rushed at any of the sites & gave great information, the Botanical gardens were beautiful & peaceful, the beaches were amazing, the mirage was so worth the trip into the desert, salt flats were so much bigger than I expected but my favourite had to be the blue eye it was amazing, the shop and restaurant were so good with great food/drink and good value gifts & rum, the cocktail delicious

We had a wonderful time on the tour. Our guide Nino was absolutely brilliant. He made the tour funny and very factual with his knowledge of the island and history of Cape Verde. All the attractions were beautiful, only wish the weather had been nicer so we could have seen the Buracona.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. A fab tour that showed you the highlights of the island. The local lunch was very nice indeed and the cocktail at the beach was a nice end to the tour. Worth every penny. THANK YOU

Our guide, Clovas was excellent. His knowledge of the island was fantastic and he interacted throughout the whole day, keeping us well entertained. Some of the stops seemed as though they had been included to fill the time. Please be aware a lot of the journey was across unmade roads, making this a bumpy ride. Be aware of this if you have back issues.

Nino the tour rep was great. He’s informed, funny, friendly and very entertaining - well done and keep up the good work. There is a lot of different sights to see in 1 day but it never felt rushed or that we didn’t have enough time at any of them. The blue eye, salt water swim, lunch, lion mountain, big mountain, kite beach, botanical gardens are all wonderful, thank you for being our guide Nino and showing us round them all

Our host for the day Nino was brilliant, very knowledgeable and very funny, as a tour group he brought us all together which made the day even better. A lady in our group had a fall and got a few grazes, Nino could not of been more attentive. Great day with a great host.??

Great trip and guide. Learned lots about Sal and its inhabitants. Minibus driver was good but bit perturbed that there are no seatbelts. Flat terrain and empty roads mainly but disturbing about lack of safety re belts. Luckily no children on our day out.
