Its was cloudy so no stargazing available. told there was a piano playing, no piano, restaurant was more of a beach shack. Starter was x1 piece of toast cut into 4 with a few chopped tomatoes that was between 2 people, pudding no choice no fruit just a small square of chocolate sponge (very small) with a little sauce on. Was told, several telescopes/ tablets, lasers To stargaze, No tablets/ lasers x1 telescope only. Person playing a guitar sad music only. Was incredibly disappointed no barbecue.

A very informative and interesting evening viewing the star consolation s through a huge telescope and with the aid of a lader light. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the talk relevant by showing us the star formation s and pictures which showed how small we actually are in the universe. It was so nice to have a lovely 3 course meal and special drinks included, the food was really nice and the service excellent. The whole evening was very good value for money

The team was so knowledgeable and the made sure it was more than just a dinner with a look through a telescope, they told us so much information about what we’re were looking at, they showed us the moon rise, we got some phenomenal pictures and we had a lovely meal. A really enjoyable and unusual evening!!

Das Restaurant am Kite Beach war einheimisch geführt und sehr authentisch. Die vielen jungen Menschen der Sternenbeobachtung waren sehr engagiert, konnten viel zeigen und erklären. Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend. Für Menschen/Kinder, die sich für Sterne weniger interessieren, könnten die 3h etwas langatmig werden.

Uitje naat sterren duur. Eten niet nodig voor all inclusive booking. Sterren kijken stelt weinig voor. Lang wachten met 30 man. Aan het enthousiasme v d leiding v d sterrenwacht lag het niet. Dat was leuk. We bevelen het niet aan anderen aan. Andere tours zijn leuker

Kein deutsprachiger Guide, das Abendessen war gewöhnungsbedürftig, sehr lieblos aufgetischt. Es gab keine verständlichen Erklärungen. Wir hatten keinen unvergleichlichen Blick auf die Milchstraße konnten insofern auch nichts genießen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passte nicht. Für uns reine Zeit-und Geldverschwendung. Nicht zu empfehlen!

A very mediocre meal (the french fries were stone cold). No warning about the state of the access road. Would be a painful experience for anyone with back problems. All in all extremely poor value for money.

Overall it was a good evening. The food was delicious & the guides were very good. The problem was the transport. I am disabled & struggled getting on the bus. Also there was a drunk guest who was abusive & made everyone uncomfortable.

We felt it was very expensive and not good value. Unfortunately it was a cloudy evening (we appreciate this was out of your control but perhaps it should have postponed) We arrived to a welcome drink served out of a red bucket, strange experience. The BBQ was OK the other drink served was very low quality wine which was difficult to drink. The guides are very knowledgeable and obviously it was hard for them given the cloud cover.

Zeer hartelijke ontvangst met live muziek. Eten was lokaal: heerlijke smaken in alle eenvoud, en keuze voor vlees/vis/vega. Leuke dingen geleerd over onze sterrenhemel en de blik op een aantal planeten en sterren via de telescoop was magisch. Het was deels bewolkt. Met een volledig open lucht was het wellicht een 10 geweest, maar ook nu was de excursie de moeite waard.

I was amazed to see so many stars in the sky as we have too much light pollution at home. Our Guide to the stars had some much information to share with us .. Only one suggestion would be maybe to have another telescope to look through to save queuing for one. Overall a great night under the stars listening to a guitarist while you eat. ??

Die Teleskope waren/ sind nicht hochwertig, so das man wirklich was sehen kann. Teilweise sehr unscharf. Essen war okay, obgleich das nicht unser Fokus war. Ist eine typische Touriveranstaktung. Der Guide hat erklärt, doch sehr schnell gesprochen.

Not worth it – refund required This stargazing BBQ was a complete disappointment. The food was unacceptable for a BBQ buffet, limited to chicken drumsticks and overcooked fish. It was freezing cold, very windy, with no shelter. Only two telescopes for 40 people and a loud generator made the stargazing poorly planned and unenjoyable. Even the bus ride felt unsafe due to reckless driving. This experience did not match what was advertised. I expect a full refund. Can’t believe tui could recommend.

The star gazing was brilliant and the staff were very knowledgeable about the subject and being able to see through the telescope was amazing. Not much choice if you don't drink alcohol though as the evening ended with a tot of local grog!

My wife has mobility issues when walking. The staff, from driver to event leader were superb. They helped her on & off the bus & the three steps into the restaurant. The dinner was a self service buffet. The staff asked my wife what she would like from the buffet & brought each course to her. They provided chairs for us to sit on outside as we enjoyed the stargazing & viewing through the telescope. I highly recommend this trip. You can see the Milky Way, but book during new moon to see it

Enjoyed everything - Music in the Cafe, food was well presented, drinks served quickly, time was divided between star gazing and eating. Hosts were knowledgeable and helpful. Pick up and drop off on time and comfortable.

Unser Guide war sehr sympathisch und konnte uns viel über unseren Nachthimmel erklären. Leider spielte das Wetter nicht so mit und es wurde mit der Zeit mehr bewölkt sodass gegen Ende keine Sternbeobachtung mehr möglich war. Dennoch wir hatten trotzdem einen schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen und professionellen Mitarbeitern.

The astronomical knowledge of those running the evening left something to be desired. They lacked scientific knowledge and gave some information that was factually and cosmologically incorrect. Other than that a dark sky opportunity to see some of the stars of the southern sky not visible from Europe.

Very fun experience, the sky is so massively different in Cape Verde compared the uk. Once the darkness came over the sky lit up, the guides were very knowledgeable and pointed out multiple constellations and different facts and stories. Using the telescope was very cool to see the stars close up and how they compare to each other. The food was 10/10 with multiple options and a very good vegetarian option. Definitely worth the money and a night I won’t forget.

The food was delicious, the guys running the evening were very nice, funny and knowledgeable! We were under the impression that there would be more telescopes but we understand that could be hard to manage, and the guide was keeping us entertained and talking us through the sky while we waited to look through the telescope.

We werden verwend met een heerlijk diner, door een heel gastvrij restaurant. Helaas was het erg bewolkt, waardoor we weinig sterren en planeten konden zien, maar onze gids heeft ons toch nog een hoop weten te leren. Wat ons betreft was het een geslaagde excursie!

An amazing experience! I was never that into science but I thought star gazing would be fun - I was not disappointed. Our three expert guides were not only very knowledgeable about astronomy, they were also incredibly engaging! I learned things I never thought of lookong into, while having a lot of fun. The meal was great, the music was ok, but our astronomers' mini lectures and fun Q&As were the best part of the evening - highly recommended!

Spijtig dat het bewolkt was en we geen sterren of planeten konden spotten. Enkel Mars even gezien. De professionele uitleg heeft dit echter ruim gecompenseerd. Ik had zelf de app Skyview om dat sterren en planeten virtueel te kunnen localiseren.

Lovely event, smashing people, got everyone terrific moon videos on their phones. Due to fact that there are limited stars to see and wouldn't take much time, interspersed with meal and grog testing, which I would have preferred to skip in favour of drink and snacks and more time learning about constellations. That said excellent and fascinating trip.

Fantastic experience from start to finish, the staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, it’s so informative and you come away with some amazing photos! One recommendation would be take something warm to put on it can get a bit chilly by 9pm.

Well we saw the moon jupiter and a couple of stars nothing like your advertising pictures food was nice but not 59 pounds worth two free drinks which one was put in our hands with no other choice so had a second drink of which we had to pay overall disappointing tried to cancel but was told I had to cancel with the shop were I bought the tickets which I had to do because of a disaster booking o line as this was Sunday I was unable to ring branch where I booked and paid.

The excursion was very informative and I felt we learnt a lot about the stars and planets. Our trip was unfortunately hampered a bit by cloud cover but the staff worked really hard to adapt the experience and make sure we felt we were not missing out. My daughter fell asleep and the staff made a lovely nest for her to snuggle in!

I think the bbq was just ok. It was a fun evening. Seeing the stars etc. Very informative young men. But I found some of the information a bit mind blowing. Too much to keep in.

Very efficient mini bus driver. Meal and drinks ok, well structured with star gazing in between courses. Good, knowledgable experts, answered our questions and made the trip enjoyable. Learnt a lot and would recommend for an engaging evening. It happened to be a full moon so we got some good photos through the telescope on our cameras but this did make the sky lighter to spot the other constellations.

We had a good night and the reps etc are very good and made us very welcome. Overall a bit on the pricey side-which probably applied to each of the trips we went on and stopped us doing one or two more events.

The food was great but there were too few telescopes for the amount of people on this excursion. We had to wait ages for our turn and by the time we finally got to use the telescope it had clouded over so we saw no stars. Waste of time and money, might as well have stayed in our resort and wandered up the beach!

Rart og hyggeligt sted med venligt og imødekommende personale, god mad og fin service - og ovenikøbet diskret, levende musik. Det var virkelig hyggeligt. Guiderne til stjernehimlen var både vidende, engagerede og velformulerede og fortalte om Månen, planetern, stjernebillederne og om forskellen fra stjernehimlen i Europa. Der var to fine spejlteleskoper til rådighed, og alle fik lov at kigge og tage billede af Månen. Eneste minus var en del drivende skyer. Kan varmt anbefales for “stjernefolk”.

We were not picked up for the tour. We waited over an hour contacted TUI by the app then had to telephone. The operator was unable to give me any information and promised to contact me again advising to continue to wait. No-one picked us up or contacted us. Next day we spoke to TUI rep who said she was notified the afternoon before but had been at another hotel I asked why we had not been informed via the app she said it was her responsibility to send the message but didn't. Very disappointing

Man sollte vielleicht vorher sagen, dass der Begrüßung Drink zu den beiden Freigetränken gehört. Gläser mit Getränken wurden bereits abgeräumt, obwohl sie noch nicht ausgetrunken waren. Insgesamt sehr hektischer Ablauf. Hatte eher einen Abzockercharakter.

Overall excellent evening star gazing, guides very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the food and drinks. Only down side was how cold the wind was, we’re given blankets but still painfully cold. Tui reps should let people know could be cold, and to take warm clothing.
