The freedom and exhilaration of flying top-speed through the air is an experience that's hard to beat. And you can do it in the tropical setting of Sal island, with hilltop views to boot.You'll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the base where your arrival will be welcomed with a refreshing drink to get you started. There will be a quick safety briefing and introduction to ziplining, then once you're ready, you'll drive up to the hilltop, followed by a short, but no less spectacular, walk.There are two platforms to launch yourself from, with the highest point at a towering 103m. You'll reach speeds of up to a 100km per hour as you hurtle down the steel ropes, which extend over 1000m. And if you can open your eyes for just a second, you'll catch flashes of Sal's idyllic landscape before you reach the end of the line.

Der Aufstieg zum Berg war recht mühselig, abgebrochene Steinetreppe, das Festhalteseil hing überwiegend durch. Manche gingen in FlipFlops hoch, das sollte man unbedingt besser beschreiben. Das Erlebnis hingegen war großartig und hat voll Spaß gemacht

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Tour. Vom obersten Punkt aus hat man einen sehr schönen Rundumblick. Die Zippline ist nicht super spektakulär aber es lohnt sich sie einmal auszuprobieren.

A fabulous exhilarating experience. The climb to top of the hill was strenuous but the ride down on the zip line was well worth the effort. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Safety was always uppermost in everything they did. If they could provide a better way to reach the top of the hill, it would be so much better for less able bodied people.

Transfer heen en terug prima. Zipline locatie voelt een beetje gehaast. Je stapt uit en dan hup hup, formulier onderteken, wegen en hup de jeep in naar boven. Verder de begeleiding en veiligheid van het harnas ed allemaal prima. Ziplinen ansich. Het had voor mij persoonlijk nog wat sneller gemogen. Niettemin toch een leuk tripje.

Ziplineausflug war ganz gut. Die Abholung und Fahrt war wie erwartet. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort haben routiniert die Gäste verarbeitet. Für den Sandsturmnebel kann ja keiner. Eine gute Aktivität im Salzurlaub.

Das Personal der Zipline überbrückt Wartezeiten auf sehr eindrucksvolle, lustige Weise und nimmt evtl manchen Leuten dadurch auch die Angst etwas. Es war dadurch sehr kurzweilig und mit viel Spaß verbunden.

A warm thank you for TUI members present at the hotel and the driver to the Zipline who was very patient and kind. Everything was well organised. A big thanks also to the Zipline team. Der Ausflug war sehr gut organisiert. Lediglich das Fahrzeug was uns gefahren hat, war etwas unbequem. An der Zipline musste man einen kurzen Aufstieg bewältigen. Man wird mit einem tollen Ausblick belohnt. Nach dem Anlegen des Gurtzeugs ging es nach kurzer Wartezeit los. Die Abfahrt könnte vielleicht etwas schneller sein, aber es hat trotzdem sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert

The zip was a decent length and great over some water. The ending was soft which was great. Didn't like the walk up to the start from the drop off point though. We're not young although not too bad fitness wise but we had to keep having little breaks on the way to the top.

Je wordt door tui netjes opgehaald en terug gebracht. Die service was top. Alleen bij zipline gaat het anders. Geen briefing geen uitleg. Meteen een papier tekenen. Je klautert over losse stenen met een kapot touw voor houvast naar boven. Boven aangekomen gaat alles snel, tuigje aan korte uitleg. Tui mensen moeten eerst want die moeten weer met auto weg. Heel onpersoonlijk. De ervaring om 1040m naar beneden te gaan was wel erg leuk.

Superleuke ervaring! Klim omhoog is goed te doen en het zeker waard voor alleen al het uitzicht. De mannen van de zipline zijn lieve mensen, professioneel en leuke entertainers die je bezig houden tijdens het wachten tot je afdaling naar beneden. Opgehaald en weer afgezet bij het hotel!

The Zipline staff and experience was very good however, the TUI element was a total sham! The TUI driver did not say a word to us, he asked the Zipline staff to get us down first so he could then load us back into the Landrover and return us to the hotel. What was sold as a "half day experience" ended up being just over 1hr from collection and return to and from the hotel. Our advise would be to book direct with Zipline as it's much cheaper and get a taxi.

Loved it but be prepared for a hike partway up the mountain. You need to be fit! The zipline experience was superb! 10 out of 10. Our guide Carlos from TUI was fantastic. He was warm, fun, and knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the trip. The zipline itself was such an adrenaline rush, and the staff was safe, fun, put nervous people at ease, and kept things orderly.. Be prepared for a hike partway up the mountain. Remember you need to be fit, it's a 20 steep hike.

Het ziplinen op zich was heel veilig en leuk, de wandelweg er naartoe minder (afspanning weg of afgebroken, los grind dus stevige wandelschoenen zijn nodig, pittige klim die niet voor iedereen geschikt is). Heel tijdig opgehaald, plus daarvoor! TUI deelnemers moesten als eersten omdat de chauffeur stond te wachten. Geen drankje vooraf of nadien, geen tijd om even rustig te genieten van de omgeving of de sfeer. Snel weer in het busje en snel weer naar het hotel. Jammer.

Wir hatte: Zipline bei Sonnenuntergang. Der Blick war herrlich. Bringt zwar keine 100 km/h, aber war wunderschön und Funny. Das Begrüßungetränk hat gefehlt. Was uns allerdings nicht störte. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine Dame dabei, die eine Gehbehinderung hatte. Da man die letzte Strecke zur Zipline zu Fuss bestreiten muss, war fraglich ob sie das Abenteuer miterleben kann. Ein Mitarbeiter hat sich ihrer angenommen und sie bis oben gestützt und begleitet. De autoreis er naartoe is al een belevenis op zich: lekker hobbelen op de weg. De begeleiding van de activiteit is heel behulpzaam en vol humor, met kennis van zaken en een lekker muziekje om je in de stemming te brengen. Het uitzicht over de zee en het land is de afdaling meer dan waard. Kortom: zeker doen.

I expected a safety briefing which wasn't given. It also said welcome drink. We were given a plastic cup of water when at the top of the climb to the zip line. We then waited over 90 minutes until after 6pmgor our turn to use the zip line. Overall it was very much an anticlimax. We chose the sunset trip but as it was after 6pm when our turn came it was past sunset and getting dark..

The zip line itself was brilliant but we were not told about the steep climb to get to the top. Then, there were large queues to get your zipline equipment on you. Then the Tui people were told to all move to the front of the queue as the Tui rep wanted to get off quickly, so it was a rush to the bottom and then straight in the car we never got any drinks or dancing as was told by our rep at the hotel.

Goede uitleg en ook gezellig personeel. Alleen de katrol was niet in orde. Deze liep aan. Daardoor ging de zipline heel langzaam, zo langzaam dat ik maar net over het water heen kwam waar ik ook stil kwam te hangen. Personeel heeft mij naar het einde moeten slepen. Heb dit aangegeven maar kreeg er geen reactie op en kon vertrekken. Dat vond ik wel jammer.

We really enjoyed the zipline experience. The view was stunning. The only downside was that, according to the TUI experience voucher, welcome drinks were included, but we didn’t receive them. Other than that, the whole experience was very exciting. We would highly recommend it.

The only reason I didn't offer a 10 was the lack of information given before booking, this experience includes a very steep climb over uneven ground, participants should be warned you need a good degree of fitness and no disabilities - also to wear trainers.

2 h auf dem Berg anstehen für 1min Fahrt. Steht in keinem Verhältnis. Bei mir wurde ein Beinkurt beim Anschnallen vergessen. Wurde nur zufällig durch anderen wartenden bemerkt. Wenn die Wartezeit auf dem Berg max. 15min beträgt währe das Ganze ok.

The guys running it were great, funny, happy, helpful and obviously very experienced in what they were doing. We thought it was a really different and enjoyable place to be, like out of a movie. The only thing I would say is maybe advise people there is quite a long walk up the mountain to get to the line. We would definitely do it again ??

I booked the experience online and the date defaulted to the next working day after I changed the number of people doing the excursion -- I tried to cancel it as it was for the NEXT DAY and I was still in England -- my holidays being 4 weeks away-- I phoned I emailed I got bounced around the teams-- no one ever replied and I have been charged for an activity we have NOT DONE as we are not yet on holiday due to a GLITCHY form on your webpage and no one has replied to me. Leuke ervaring, zonsondergang was aanwezig. Wel lang boven op de berg moeten wachten daar de levering met harnassen via de ziplijn naar boven kwam vast te zitten. Het was een hele operatie om dit gerief boven te halen zodat beide lijnen toegankelijk waren. Spijtig ge´noeg geen party meer voor ons als we beneden kwamen.

The admin at the start was a bit chaotic, not much information was given, we were piled into a room to sign a waiver, then didn’t know what to do next. Time was running out at the top so we had to skip the queue. No information about the steep walk to the top beforehand. A lot of waiting around.

Sie sind alle sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, tolles Ambiente und einer spricht auch perfekt deutsch, englisch, französisch und portugiesisch. Man bekommt eine kurze und verständliche Einweisung und wird dann noch gewogen. Man fährt ein Stück mit dem auto und läuft den rest nach oben mit einer gigantischen Aussicht. Festes Schuhwerk ist wichtig da es doch die Steine auch mal rutschig werden kann und gut zu Fuß sein. Alles in allem ein tolles Abenteuer was ich definitiv wiederholen werde

the overall experiance was good but the zipline itselve was tame and not as fast as its explained in the itinary we all thought it wasnt as exhilerating as what we thought it would be.We also payed extra at the facility for the go pro camera to record our experiances but werent shown the footage at the end of the experiance,so when viewed at home really dissapointed with footage as all it showed was the ground below????

De crew deed het erg leuk. Bij sommigen waren toch wat spanningen, maar daar speelden ze goed op in. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de berg en geweldig om de afdaling te maken. Een ware traktatie!

Die Stimmung war gut, auch bei den Angestellten der Zipline. Trotz alledem waren sie sehr konzentriert beim anlegen des Sicherheitsgeschirrs und beim einhängen in die Zipline. Wegen mir hätte die fahrt etwas schneller sein können. Alles in allem, ich würde es nochmal machen.

Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden! Die kleine Wanderung auf den Berg war etwas anstrengend, aber für die Aussicht von oben war sie es mehr als wert! Die Nachmittagstour (16Uhr) mit Sonnenuntergang war von der Temperatur her perfekt. Die Fahrt nach unten war ein Erlebnis welches wir jedem ans Herz legen können! Die Mitarbeiter/Animateure haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und haben das ganze am Schluss noch abgerundet! Wir können es wirklich jedem empfehlen! Danke für den tollen Nachmittag!

Mis sold by TUI staff Linda. Bearing in mind my age(68) she should have been more honest. A 7 minute upward walk she said. It must have taken me 25 minutes on precarious steps that are in dire need of fixing. I had to use my inhaler on the upward path. The guide was kind and caring. At the mountainn top. One paper cup was available for all to use for water.

We enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. Felt safe and looked after. The climb up to the zipline was a challenge in the heat, but take your time and you will get there.

De zipline is echt super gaaf, de klim naar boven op de berg is wel ff een stukkie maar het uitzicht vanaf daar laat je die hele klim vergeten!

They didn't say how high the climb was being a 64year old male I made it with a struggle. Also they said you got a drink as part of the experience when I and others got to the top we got a warm beacker of water each then did the zip wire when I got to the bottom they asked how it was then offered me a drink which I accepted a little later I was getting on the transport and they charged me €4 for the drink which was small and not worth the price or experience.

Das Team vor Ort ist super freundlich und ausgesprochen gut gelaunt.. der Weg den Berg hinauf ist etwas mühselig, da es kein richtig befestigter Weg mit Stufen ist. Dafür entschädigt dann der Ausblick wieder, wenn man da oben angekommen ist. Für die gute Minuten der Zipline, sind die ca. 50€ etwas to much.

Keine Prüfsiegel auf den Gurten erkenntlich, bei der Einweisung wäre ein Hinweis auf wiederkehrende Prüfung beruhigend :-)
