Genießen Sie einen Spaziergang durch die UNESCO-geschützte Stadt Nessebar und besuchen Sie eine der besten Weinkellereien am Schwarzen Meer für eine Weinverkostung. Elena, eine unserer ortskundigen Tourguides, sagt: "Die Sophienkirche war tausend Jahre lang eine der wichtigsten religiösen Stätten in der Schwarzmeerregion. Sie wurde im 5. Jahrhundert erbaut und ist damit eine der ältesten Kirchen überhaupt."Alles beginnt mit einem geführten Rundgang durch die Altstadt von Nessebar. Die auf einer schmalen, ins Schwarze Meer ragenden Halbinsel gelegene Altstadt ist so reich an Artefakten, dass sie zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört. Die Geschichte der Stadt ist so vielschichtig, dass Archäologen die Unterwasserüberreste der Stadt untersuchen mussten, um ihre Geschichte zu verstehen. Sie fanden heraus, dass die Stadt zuerst von den Thrakern besiedelt wurde, gefolgt von den Griechen, Römern und Osmanen.Schlendern Sie durch die gewundenen Straßen, die von alten Holzhäusern gesäumt sind, die zwischen einem Dutzend historischer Kirchen stehen, von denen die älteste 1.500 Jahre alt ist. Am Ende der Tour haben Sie noch genügend Zeit, um die Stadt auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Abgerundet wird das Erlebnis durch einen Besuch im Weingut DiVes Estate Winery, wo Sie bei einer Verkostung ein Trio der besten bulgarischen Weine inmitten der ländlichen Landschaft probieren können. Elena fügt hinzu: "Der Roséwein ist ein absolutes Highlight. Er ist das Produkt einer lokalen bulgarischen Rebsorte namens Pamid, die am Meer gedeiht und einen Wein mit subtilen, frischen Aromen hervorbringt."

Excursion was excellent but the directions for the pick up poi t and the customers services to find out more about the pick up point was extremely poor. The only saving grace was Muhammad who saved the day for us

The tour was the town was very informative. We liked getting to explore it on our own too. The wine tasting was a bit disappointing. We thought we would get more varieties to try rather than just a white, rose and red.

Nessebar is a must see town. We all loved it! Our guide was well informed and surprised us with a stop for delish tea and later Bulgarian yughurt desert. I wish the trip started at 12pm (not 2pm) so there was a bit more time as Nessebar. Other than that 5*. Thanks!

We expected to have a tour of the place where the wine was actually made looking at the pictures of the trip before we booked.It was more of a wine tasting of 3 glasses of wine.We would have liked more free time we only had about 40mins wasn't enough to look around it was rushed

The English guide was superb. Friendly and informative. Beautiful sites and excellent points of interest. This was not a small tour. It was a large coach full of people. Split into non English speaking and english speaking. Still excellent though

Our guide was extremely good, she had all the historical facts in her head and was very entertaining. Needed a little more time at the village but will probably go back. The vineyard tour was also very good, it would be helpful if the cost of carriage of small orders were available.

Excellent local knowledge, just the right walking pace and enough time to get some souvenirs. The wine tasting was excellent, with good pointers as to what you could taste in the wines as well as a history of the vineyard.
